Our family enjoyed the home very much! Highlights were the great pool, game room, all the bathrooms, easy walk to the beach, being able to see some of the ocean and hear the ocean! We also enjoyed the slower pace of the Rodanthe area. Host was very easy to communicate with and made sure our stay was perfect!

The host was very responsive and was eager to make sure our stay was wonderful. The kitchen was well equipped, and we loved having the extra refrigerator. We also loved having sheets and towels available as well as beach/pool towels. It was great having a private beach access that was so close to the house. We had 3 families with small children and a dog, and there was plenty of space for everyone. I highly recommend staying at this beautiful home!

I do not have a single negative thing to say about this property or the host. He was extremely accommodating with early check in (we traveled from NY) and everything was provided for that we needed. Beach was a 1 minute walk and quiet, and while the weather was on the colder side for most of the stay, we got lots of use out of the heated pool! My 5 and 2.5 year old loved every second of it. I would love to return again in the future, and definitely recommend this property to anyone.

Amazing location, great house

We have a 3 and 6 year old boy, first family trip to the beach. House had everything, 1-2 minute walk to the beach.

Beautiful home with a fabulous view of the ocean. The hosts/owners were incredibly gracious and provided excellent communication. This is the perfect home for families; lots of baby gates and various other amenities for families with young children.

Fantastic home will stay again!

The property was exactly as described, we had a view of both the sunrise over the Atlantic and Sunset over the sound. Easy walk to the private beach from the house. The parking was ample for 3 Dodge Rams and Toyota Tundra. Pool was clean with plenty of chairs. Wi definetly stay again.

Beautiful property, well stocked and fantastic access to the Beach!!

My family and I stayed the week leading up to Mother’s Day 2025 and we loved our stay at Charisma! The house was beautiful, lots of space for our large family, very well stocked with everything we needed including baby gates and it was pet friendly! The price was really reasonable even considering the fact that it was off-season. We got such a good deal that between the price of the house for the week and so few reviews, thought it might be a Scam. It is a real place and the hosts were very communicative and easy to work with!The Beach access was really great, both getting to the beach via a short walk and the access to the beach itself was great and relatively flat/not hilly like some of the other beaches in the Hatteras area.We would definitely stay again and highly recommend Charisma for your upcoming stay on Hatteras Island!

Perfect Family Vacay House

We had a great time staying here. The house is plenty big with lots of lounging around space. The house has a nice view of the ocean as well as the sound from the top deck; from the back deck overlooking the pool there is a lovely view of the sunset! The pool was excellent and had great lounge chairs on the deck. The walk to the beach is easy, paved/boardwalk all the way until right at the beach, so easy for pulling a wagon for chairs/tents/etc. Communication with the owner was very easy. Only minor issue is that there's no hose on the outside shower for spraying off sand, but there is a hose on the pool deck, but would recommend adding a hose to the outdoor area. Also, one of the bedrooms is actually a Queen bed, not a King. Wasn't a problem for us, but just a note on the listing.
