Cool restaurants, shops, coffee houses, live music venues - all surrounded by beautiful homes and a multitude of gorgeous parks: Alamo Square Park (home to the famous "Painted Ladies" Victorian houses), Panhandle Park , Golden Gate Park (with museums, lakes, boating and more!), Duboce Triangle, Dolores Park and others!
It is centrally located, so it's easy and fast to get to anyplace in the city, from Fisherman's Wharf to Union Square; Walk to Castro, Haight Ashbury, Pacific Heights, Hayes Valley, Civic Center, Moscone Convention Center or MUNI. 5 minutes to Freeways.

Great location, wonderfully decorated. Really nice back deck. Kitchen was well equipped. It is a 3rd floor walk-up. There is a lot of decorative items, so caution should be used not to break anything.

We had a great time visiting the Western Addition. Wow has Divisidero changed a lot but one of the best stores Game Stores in the bay area is still there - Gamescape!The house was clean and very easy to use. We enjoyed the deck off the kitchen immensely.

One of the best vrbo’s I’ve stayed at. Clean, comfortable and affordable. On top of that it is in an absolute prime location for lots of different activities. The owner is very helpful and kind by offering instructions and helpful info on top of a map of things to do in the area! Highly recommend!

The location is very convenient, with shops and restaurants just two blocks away, and the rental is reasonably priced. However, I do think the listing should be more detailed and transparent so guests know what to expect before booking.This is a three-story walk-up, and the laundry facilities are shared with other residents and located on the ground floor. The designated parking space fits only a compact car, which wasn't clear until after booking and arrival. Check-in also requires coordinating an exact arrival time with Rob so he can meet you and provide the keys, rather than allowing for a flexible or self-guided check-in.No closet or drawer space is available for guests. A few hangers are provided, but guests must hang clothing on the outside of the door. In the kitchen, guests are allotted two half-shelves in the refrigerator, and the space feels cramped and cluttered overall.While the price and location are definite positives, the listing would benefit from clearly disclosing these details upfront so guests can make a fully informed decision before booking.

The host is as Charming as his home! We met him upon arrival and toured his place with him and got the ins and outs of the neighborhood. He has a map of everything of Interest within walking distance of his home, which was a great help. Google Maps has nothing on this man: he knows his hood! Because he lives in this home it is very personalized. To some that may not work, but for us, it was endearing as he's an interesting man with an interesting collection a beautiful things he loves. The beds were very comfortable, the bathroom, well even it had character! If you would like to take a bath and watch TV why, you certainly can! Everything in his home is very clean and comfortable and I would highly recommend it to two or four people. Good job, Mister! It was a pleasure.

Beautiful, very artsy and clean home

Rob was amazing. The check-in process was very informative about the area, the home, and amenities. Classic San Francisco home made the experience exactly what a visit to the city should be.

Nice place!

Rob was very friendly and courteous. The location is excellent, very walkable and close to lots of great food and drinks. The place was nice, and having a safe and guaranteed parking spot was really great.

INCORRECT VRBO ONLINE LISTING

IT WAS AN AWFUL EXPERIENCE WHEN WE FOUND OUT THAT THE HOST REALLY LIVES IN THIS PROPERTY AS IN HE LIVES AND SLEEPS IN THIS PROPERTY. ALL HIS PERSONAL EFFECTS. THE BATHROOM ARE FULL , THE FRIDGE ARE FULL THE CLOSET ARE FULL.. ITS HIS HOME. WE STAYED IN A LOT OF VRBO AND THIS IS THE VERY FIRST TIME WE HAD THIS EXPERIENCE AND IT SAD AND DISAPPOINTED. WHEN MY WIFE CALLED ROB THAT WE CANNOT STAYED BECAUSE OF IT HE GOT MAD AND SAID IF WE READ THE INSTRUCTIONS HE LEFT AJD WHATS WRITTEN IN THE INSTRUCTIONS ARE EVERYTHING I MENTIONED ABOVE BUT THESE WHERE NOT MENTIONED IN HIS LISTING THAT HE LIVES THERE. HIS TOOTHBRUSH WAS IN THE BATHROOM ETC ETC. BTW HE WAS HOME WHEN WE ARRIVED AND HE LEFT. WE BELIEVE AND FELT THAT WE GOT SCAMMED. HOW COULD YOU SLEEP IN SOMEONE'S BED THAT THE BEDSHEETS SMELLED LIKE A PERSON SLEPT IN THERE. IT WAS A LESSON LEARNED AND NEXT TIME WE WILL ASK THE HOST IF THEY PERMANENTLY LIVE IN THE VRBO PROPERTY.

I'm sorry you didn't realize I live in my home. The photos on my profile are 100% accurate - so you can see exactly what items are in the kitchen, the bedroom, on the desk, etc. I'm sorry that, with 900 square feet of space, you couldn't find a place for your items. How much did you bring for one weekend??! I am an AirBnB host and have nearly 400 reviews, with an average rating of 4.8 out of 5. So obviously, other people understand what you did not. You admittedly did NOT read my instructions, which told you where to hang your clothes - and I even supplied a dozen hangers. I had asked you your plans to use the kitchen and you said you didn't plan on using the kitchen. Nonetheless, there were three shelves in the refrigerator that had space to accommodate anything you wanted to put in there for the weekend. As always, the home was professionally cleaned before you arrived, which included putting fresh sheets on the bed and laying out freshly laundered towels for you.

Rob was great to communicate with- always responded promptly. The apt is correctly described- good location, convenient. Wouldn’t suggest for families with younger kids as there are a ton of breakable items in the space. It has very less space in the bedrooms to move around, but that’s already clarified in the description- so no surprises there. Awesome find for someone with a sedan coz there’s indoor garage parking. However, since we had a bigger vehicle ( Toyota Highlander) we had to look for street parking everyday and night and that was a struggle. Overall great stay.

Rob is a great host and was quick to respond to our questions. The home is beautiful and comfortable to stay in. 3rd floor in case climbing is hard but worth the view. There is a nice outdoor patio.

PLEASE NOTE: This is not a rental unit - this is my home. I live here when I do not have guests. As such, please be respectful of my personal items in drawers, closets and cabinets, including clothing and medications. Also, there are many breakable items around so young children aren't the best fit for my environment.

Like almost all SF homes, it is small - which means the bedrooms are a bit cramped. But the house is clean and homey, the beds are comfortable and the location is unbeatable! (Please look at photos to see what each room looks like, including amount of "space.")
