This contemporary beach view townhome villa in Fernandina Beach awaits you. Fully furnished for fun island living, the 2 level home features 10 foot ceilings with ceiling fans in a spacious setting with 4 bedrooms and 4 baths. It sleeps 8 in beds but in a pinch with a chair bed and a sofa bed, could sleep 10. Perfect for generational families, providing semi independent two living areas; with 2BRs, 2BAs, LR, KT upstairs and 2BR, 2BAs, LR, Kitchenette downstairs. Both levels have flat screen tv's with DISH network. The property also features three outdoor spaces. Across the street is almost 13 miles of enchanting beach. Within 5 minutes are four challenging golf courses. And also close by is historic downtown Fernandina Beach and waterfront featuring restaurants, bars, antique shops and beautiful historic buildings. Boating, fishing, horseback riding, nature trails, bike paths are all also close by.

Beach view was obstructed by a large condo building. The house was spacious. The downstairs front bedroom was noisy at night because of a bar/cafe next door with vehicles coming and going, headlights shining into the bedroom, traffic sounds, etc. Otherwise we did enjoy our stay.

I will refrain from specific negative comments; however, be careful if staying at this location. Our first stay two years ago was ok, the second stay ended up being less than satisfactory and the host’s responses were accusatory. Our group was comprised of all responsible adults.

Great experience

We thoroughly enjoyed our staying at this property. The home was very spacious and we loved having a bathroom for each bedroom. The kitchen was very well stocked which we appreciated because we cook most of our meals in. Location was very nice, literally across the street from the beach and only 10 minutes from downtown.

Great return stay

This is our second consecutive year at Plentywater and there is a reason for that. The house is great, large and with all amenities needed. Easy access to the rest of the island and the beach as well and this year we made use of the garage, which was wonderful. The host is very responsive and easy to communicate with.

PTP Girls Trip

This house was so spacious for the 8 of us. Great location to our event on Main Beach and easy access to the beach. We did encounter a few issues and have recommendations. Not enough bath towels and poor quality, water fixtures are backwards making it difficult to get hot water in most of the bathroom showers, kitchen needs to be reorganized, more pillows and extra blankets would be nice and the sofa is extremely uncomfortable.

Thank you for your response. And I am sorry for your unfortunate experience. There was a problem with the entry door being jammed and it was found to be the alarm sensor keeping the door from opening. Salt air has unexpected effects on metal hardware over time. However we were able to provide entry through another door. Yes, one shower, not all, has a hot water cold water mix reversal. Admittedly it’s a quirk. But we have endless hot water with the tankless water heater. Additionally, our place is supplied for an advertised 8 guests and we have towels and wash clothes for 8 guests plus beach towels and we have a washer and dryer. Never in 10 years has anyone said that our sofa was uncomfortable. Not sure how many additional towels you needed, but we will consider this and your other comments for future guests. Thank you for your business.

Crazy visit but still fun!

We loved the house. Peek of ocean view but beach right across street. A great location on the island. We had several problems arise beyond the owners control, but he was in touch with us throughout the ordeal and took care of us at the end. A great interaction with the owner, all of us seniors still had a great time. The townhouse is very spacious. We could have had a little more instructions on the TV, but are not really to tech savy?

Pleasant Stay for our Family of 6

Lots of room with plenty of sleeping areas with clean, fresh sheets and nice privacy for the family. Didn't find info packet about the townhouse until right before we left -- unable to use the hall bathroom shower because we could never get warm water -- the info about how to make it work was in the packet by the TV (we didn't watch much TV)! Location was good for access to public beach. If you have a large SUV, parking can be a little tight -- we were in Suburban XL and could not get in the garage. Our contact, Carlton, was extremely responsive and answered all messages very promptly.

A good Family house! But need some updates!

This townhome worked great for our vacation over July 4th. We had our 3 grown children ( in their 20’s) and 2 of their spouses - total 7 adults. The location is great short 3-4 minute walk to beach- perfect location on beach. The house was spacious and bright! And great AC! We had a few issues the host addressed quickly. There are a few things that we would suggest to owners to make the guests more comfortable especially for adults. There were plastic chairs for dining table ( the ones with metal legs like a classroom) they were so uncomfortable for dining a few of our grown children ate their lunch on the couch! They definitely need to bring in some actual dining chairs - the table was massive but so uncomfortable to dine! Also the kitchen needs more utensils only had 7 forks ( mostly salad ) and 8 spoons the house says it can sleep 8-10 so there should be enough utensils for guests. Lastly the mattress in the queen guest bedroom downstairs was old and not comfortable. Time for an upgrade! With a few updates throughout the house and improvements we would consider returning

Beautiful property close to beach

We enjoyed our stay at this property and will likely stay again if it is available. We were traveling with older people, so we were pleased to learn that every room had access to walk in showers. We weren’t expecting this, and this was truly a plus. The kitchen has all the supplies you need to prepare fast lunches or sit down dinners. We accidentally bought whole coffee beans and were pleasantly surprised to find even a coffee grinder in the kitchen! I noticed that some of the reviews complained about uncomfortable beds. This was not our experience. All of our family raves about the great sleep they were getting each night on their beds. This made me think the hosts had switched out the beds based on guest feedback. My only recommendation for the host would be to supply beach umbrellas and a beach cart for the guests. The beach is a short walk, but for older guests they thought it was a bit of a trek carrying their chair and supplies. It would be super nice if we could have just loaded a small beach cart for them and carried the stuff down along with umbrellas. Loved the property overall. Great value and would easily stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay. Carlton was very responsive to any questions we had. Home was beautiful and clean. Would suggest bringing some spices if you plan on doing a seafood boil at the house. Otherwise very well stocked kitchen! People had left some toys and other beach stuff in the garage which was nice because we had forgotten some of our gear. Definitely happy we brought our beach towels we were literally at the beach all day everyday! Little bar next door with the motel had great tacos and margaritas. We completed one of the puzzles at the house and played twister which was very fun. I think our favorite dinner out was at “Down Under” we also enjoyed “Salt Life” but much different vibes. Overall wonderful experience would recommend to others and would come back!

Great and Convenient for Multiple Families

We enjoyed our stay! It was so close to the beach and a quick drive to downtown. We would all consider staying again. Great for families.

What an amazing house !!

What a wonderful home.. just so spacious and easy for a big family with 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms ..a wonderful great great living room and easy access to the ocean and even a great tiki bar next door ha we'll be back again this place was amazing ....I loved the decorating and the furniture tastfully done!
