"The apartment is really nice, well designed, with a nice lanai on the pool. The place is very quiet so you'll have a wonderful night of sleeping. In the apartment you'll find everything you need to make your vacation a great one. They give you beach supplies and more. It's really in the center of Kona, so you don't have to drive to have breakfast or dinner, everything is really, really close, just five minute walk or even less! If I've ever come back to the Big Island I'll check for the availability of this place first!"

Her medical profession is a supervisory technician in a general hospital in Victoria. Sharon and herhusband have traveled widely researching exotic locations for research work for novels. We continue traveling the world in search of adventure. We also help to care for our grandchildren. Our families live in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. Our interesting guests have come from all over the world - the Americas, Asia, Europe, Africa, Australia and Oceania including other volcanic lands and islands - Iceland for instance. Location! Location! Location! Seaside, right in town, walk everywhere. There is no better location on the island of Hawaii! Unique architecture Old Hawaiian-style tropical plantation ambience. We had a fantastic time staying at the popular seaside Kona Islander Condominiums right in town a number of years ago when we visited historic Kailua-Kona on the Big Island of Hawaii. You can't help but fall in love with the Hawaiian culture and Aloha spirit. We've always thought that someday we would like to own our own piece of paradise. We chose this condo at this complex because there are no condos situated better than this one! We've vacationed in the other Hawaiian islands. Exploring the Big Island of Hawaii and using our comfortable condo in its beautiful setting and very convenient location, we've concluded that it can't be beat. With all the shopping and restaurants nearby there is no need to rent a car if you choose not to. We love it here and so do our children and grandchildren. You will too!
Qué distingue a esta propiedad
South-facing, our pool-view condo's unique position affords us viewing both sunrise and sunset. Our second floor condo is more private and secure than any ground floor condos. Dappled sunshine filtering through the shade tree off our lanai allows a leisurely breakfast on the lanai without the heat and glare of the tropical sun. Around 10 a.m. the lanai is bathed in sunshine until it's time for lunch around 2 p.m. when the shade returns. Our second floor condo is ideally situated while the third floor condos generally do not have the benefit of the shade from the trees. We enjoy having a drink at sunset while overlooking the beautiful tiki torch lit pool from our own private second floor lanai. It is especially romantic when the golden moon rises into a star-studded obsidian sky. In the still of the morning, the sunrise is majestic! Colourful tropical birds make for spectacular bird watching from our lanai as we enjoy our breakfast. We are well situated to catch the gentle tropical sea breeze which flows like silk from the lanai through our condo. Later, we may see how the bananas are ripening on the banana trees outside our condo's entry door or, perhaps, check if any ripe fruit has fallen from the tall papaya trees or indeed, any of the different types of tropical fruit trees scattered around the complex grounds.
When you zoom in using the hybrid satellite map below, our condo is directly up and across the blue oval pool from the green marker. You will notice that our condo building backs onto a treed, grassy area. It is the only one of the resort's 7 plantation-style buildings which does not back onto the various parking lots nor does it back onto any roads like the others do.
