Watch the dolphins swimming by from the wide covered decks. Enjoy sunrise views from the primary bedroom, open living and dining rooms from arguably the best building in Shallowbag. This building sits out on the point of the peninsula with views out to Manteo waterfront, sound, Jockey's Ridge and marsh. Sunrise views off the living/primary bedroom covered deck and sunset views from the second deck off the two additional bedrooms and sunroom/office.
This exceptional condo offers 3 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths and a bonus sunroom/office space. From every room, you'll be treated to breathtaking views of the sound and marina. Step inside and be immediately captivated by those panoramic views. The open concept floor plan is ideal for friends and family. The living room has a row of windows overlooking the sound and access onto the sound front deck with Adirondack chairs as well as bar height table and seating. The kitchen is open to the living and dining and has an bar area with barstool seating. There is a separate wet bar area for extra space. All appliances are brand new 2024, and the kitchen is fully set-up for your cooking needs. The dining room comfortably seats six. Just off the dining room is a bonus office and reading area with views out to the marina and access onto the deck. For those of us that can never quite walk away from work, it's a great spot to check emails and step away. For those better at fully disconnecting, the oversized chair is a perfect quiet, comfortable escape. Adjacent to the dining and bonus rooms there is a convenient half bath.
The primary bedroom is a true retreat with access to the deck overlooking the sound. The bedroom features a king-size bed, and an ensuite bathroom. The two guest bedrooms share a Jack and Jill bath with tub/shower combination, and both have access to the deck facing toward the marina and boats. Each room has a Queen bed, TV, and each with sliding doors to the deck, great views facing the marina.
There is covered reserved parking for 2 cars, extra uncovered unreserved parking near-by and an elevator for easy access, luggage transport and grocery carrying. Or take the stairs two flights up in the enclosed and conditioned stairwell. Shallowbag Bay condos include an outdoor pool overlooking the marina and out to the sound, showers and restroom. There is a clubhouse with pool table, ping pong table and fitness center. Additional amenities include Stripers Bar and Grill, a 72-slip marina with slips available for rent and an on-site Ships Store.

LOCATION
You'll be inside of the Shallowbag Bay Club community, minutes from terrific nearby restaurants, so you'll always have delicious dining options. Stripers is just across the marina and offers food and drinks with in and outdoor dining. Local favorites include Darrell's at the entrance of Shallowbag Bay Club, a locally owned restaurant with a variety of seafood and other options. Across the street is Garden Deli and Pizzeria, another locally owned business. Downtown Manteo is a 5 to 10-minute walk/bike or a very quick drive, with a number of restaurant choices (The Avenue and Circa 1587 are two of my favorites) and entertainment choices, including the Pioneer theatre which offers both movie and other entertainment options so be sure to check their calendar.
The beaches are a 10-minute drive with South Nags (Jennette's Pier which has free parking, bathrooms and outdoor showers) and Pea Island are some of the best options around. Our favorite is the Coquina Beach access which also has beach side bathrooms and showers along with great parking.

WHY I BOUGHT HERE
The Outer Banks were my childhood home. I've always kept a residence in Duck (my very first home). But I found myself wanting to spend more time in Manteo, where I grew up. The proximity to beaches makes for easy access. South Nags Head and the beaches around Oregon Inlet have always been my favorite. I spend a good deal of time on the sound as well, whether it's boating, fishing or exploring the shorelines for driftwood. I enjoy the quaint town of Manteo's walkability and revived downtown day and night-time restaurant and bar venues. Manteo has really stepped up in recent years with evening entertainment options, making it a great year-round place to go. The combination of beach and town benefits, and the amazing sound views, made this my ideal choice. I hope you enjoy your stay.
