This property was much better than the pictures show. Plenty of room for 4people to enjoy, with space for privacy when needed. The view from the front deck was spectacular ( the pink sky over the mountains was especially glorious). Plenty of parking, and a space for the fire pit so hello to s’mores in the evening while watching the stars appear. The hosts were especially gracious and the accommodations were well equipped with extras ( coffee filters,cooking oil etc. ). It was centrally located so easy to get to Mount Rushmore & the Crazy Horse Memorial. We hope to get back here again & visit Laurie’s Corral.

This was the best rental we’ve stayed in! We had everything we needed. It was so great to have a place away from crowds and town to relax and rejuvenate at the end of our days. The location is 10 out of 10. Close to town but far enough to be immersed in wildlife and beauty. We had everything we needed and felt so comfortable we called it home. Don’t hesitate renting!

Great location! The house was absolutely spotless upon arrival, which we really appreciated. It’s always a relief to walk into a vacation rental and find it this clean and well-maintained. We would definitely stay here again.

This place is the perfect setting for a vacation around Custer, SD. The view every morning and evening was just breathtaking! My son called them cotton candy skies. We loved it. The place was extremely clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

Excellent stay. Tom and Laurie were very friendly and helpful. Very good communication prior and during. Place was clean and well stocked with necessary items. Location was quite literally in the middle of all our planned visit areas. Just perfect. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Location was just a few miles south of Custer and the area was beautiful!We saw quite a few deer. The property was in excellent shape. Clean and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable. Nice bathroom. The only thing I would change, is to put a handle on the bathroom door and be able to lock it.Kitchen had almost everything we needed. I would stay here again.

This was hands down the cleanest VRBO we have ever stayed at. The views of the black hills and big sky were amazing. You feel like a local SD in a gorgeous setting. The house is set up very practically and the decor was fun and on theme for a true Custer experience.
