The Griffin Estate was absolutely perfect. Plenty of room for all of the wedding party to press out and also to come together. Made our son’s wedding weekend even more special.

There really are no words for how incredible this property is. It was spotless, well stocked, and in the best location. The hosts thought of everything and spared no expense in renovating this gem. They went above and beyond and it made for an absolutely magical say that we will never forget!

We were entertaining clients at the Griffin Estate. The home was huge, spacious, and full of charm. The kitchen was fully stocked, perfect for cooking at home, and the outdoor grilling area and pool were amazing. Everything was walkable, and we were close to all the historic sites and activities. The host was fantastic, making us feel right at home. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable stay in St. Augustine.

The kitchen had everything you could ask for (except a can opener, we found one in the apartment). We made use of the pool and hot tub. This is a beautiful mix of a new reconstruction with an appropriate recognition of its history. Highly recommend.

The house was spacious, well furnished, in excellent condition, very clean, well appointed, with a very well stocked kitchen. The location was close to many tourist attractions yet well located to avoid noise.

This property is what all short term rentals should be!! All of the little touches of style and class mixed with essentials and extras. It was a perfect property for our group of 13 girls celebrating an upcoming marriage. The location was great, the surrounding area was quiet (there was an amazing owl in the live oak behind the property). Truly one of the best properties I have ever stayed at through VRBO. Highly recommend. Joe was accommodating and responsive, the epitome of a great host. Don’t pass this property up.!!!

The home was amazing !!!!

We arrived on Thursday and stayed 5 nights . The home is beautifully decorated , and the attention to detail was the best we’ve experienced in any of the numerous homes we’ve rented , all over the country .

Perfect! House was better than pictures suggested. More than enough rooms to spread out. Walking distance to everything.One of the nicest properties I’ve ever seen, much less stayed in. Thank you for sharing!

This property is all Luxurious!! Just an absolute stunning home with much character and elegance! The bedrooms fit all of our family nicely and was very accommodating for eating and sitting for a large party! We had an amazing stay while we were in St. Augustine for my niece's wedding! The home has all new and commercial grade appliances and cookware. We wanted for nothing; was very well stocked with all the amenities of home- everything we needed was there! Plenty of parking for 4 rental cars, with 3 large garages too! Nice pool and hot tub. The home was immaculate when we arrived! Each freezer had ice bag available; very nice touch! The Griffin's were very gracious hosts, and we look forward to returning again!!! Thank you for a fabulous vacation home experience!

Absolutely spectacular

The house is amazing. Perfect for our friend-group of 14. This house does not disappoint. It is spacious, functional, and beautiful for larger groups. Tammy and Joe were perfect hosts making our stay even easier. We hired a private chef for a special dinner and the massive kitchen was perfect. Will return if we ever have an excuse to do so.

Luxury, privacy and history included!

Our family had an incredible time at the Griffin Estate! Adults, children and babies were comfortable and happy in this pristinely updated historic estate. Joe and Tammy made sure every detail was considered - from the layout of the rooms, comfortable bedding, extra fans, and pool toys to a welcome basket of goodies and wine, extra toothbrushes, lotion and wipes, laundry detergent, everything you might have thought “oh no, I forgot…!” The home itself is beautifully updated, clean and comfortable. We loved how the entire home wraps around the pool making it easy to keep an eye on kids and ensures privacy. The “Yallaha” property is also a piece of St. Augustine history! Adults and children loved reading about the process of restoring the property and its place in the “oldest city”. My sister lives in St. Augustine and we will all be back to stay here next time we visit!! Thank you, Joe and Tammy!!
