This is a Super Host! Sandi was accommodating, kind, and responsive. The unit was perfect for relaxing at the Beach, and love the location in the heart of Mission Beach! The view of Mission Beach, the Ocean and Bay is incredible from this unit. Most important…..would I stay here again? ABSOLUTELY!!

Loved the view. Like sitting on balcony at night. Cool and great view!Keys did not always work. Had to take both sets not knowing if key worked. Dish washer didn’t work. Sandi sent money for dishwasher issue and had it replaced day I left. Thank you.

About the key: We've checked the condo key and it's working fine. However the elevator key (to call the elevator) wasn't responding as it should have and it's now been reported to the association. Shouldn't be a problem much longer. The dishwasher did fry itself and the guest opted to wait for repair until they checked out. We now have a shiny new dishwasher.

This was the perfect location with easy access to the beach and lots of good restaurants. The building was secure and the balcony view was very enjoyable. Sandi was great to communicate with as well.

Condo was very clean and the owner was helpful with all questions. Loved how close the beach was to the condo and that the area was very walkable for coffee/restaurants.

Absolutely wonderful location. Perfect for the beach and walking to various bars , restaurants, and activities. Very well appointed apartment. Comfortable bed. Would definitely stay again.

This spot is the perfect home base for exploring all of San Diego but specially Mission Beach and the neighboring coastal towns. The views from the balcony are spectacular and it was fun watching the drone shows at SeaWorld at night. The property has everything you need and the gated, covered parking is an awesome bonus in the Mission Beach neighborhood. It's a few steps to the beach or fantastic restaurants or you can make your own meals in the kitchen and dine on the balcony. Sandi was a wonderful host and answered all of our questions quickly and thoroughly. We will definitely stay here again the next time we're in San diego!

The distance from the beach was unexpected, so close! A real treat! Our host was very prompt with answering any questions. The parking was great, not having to deal with on street parking! The place was not as clean as I would have expected, bathroom could have used wiping down from previous guests, hair in bathroom drawers, carpets are stained.

Accurate description of the condo . We have stayed many places in the San Diego area and this was our favorite. Loved the proximity to the ocean,excellent restaurants,and great views. Our host was responsive but didn’t need much as everything was available and clear at the condo.

It was good, it was beautiful. it was noted the possibility of elevator not working. Given our age using the steps was difficult for us.

I'm so sorry that our last guest was so worried about the elevator. There was a period of time when it unexpectedly stopped but it's been fine now for a very long time (can't remember the last time it gave the building trouble). The HOA realizes the importance of maintaining all the operational equipment, especially the elevator and is on top of any possible glitches.

Sandi and Rick Ellis have lived in Grants Pass Oregon for the past 13 years since moving from Carmel Valley California. We are semi retired and share our lives with our dogs. We enjoy updating the condo when we visit several times a year for a clean and new feeling for our family and guests.

Por qué eligió esta propiedad

We purchased this condo when our daughter was earning her PhD and needed a bright place to live for five years that was close to shopping and recreation. Since then our family and friends have enjoyed using the condo to vacation at the beach. Because we use this home, we have decorated and maintained it not so much for rental but for our enjoyment, so it's nicer than you might expect from a beach rental.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

Guests have complimented our condo as being incredibly welcoming with everything provided that even might be needed. "It's as though you read our mind" . We have stocked the condo so that we have to bring only our clothes and necessities when we visit. So guests are gifted with what we provide for ourselves.
We are located on what locals call "The Strand" which is a spit of land only a few hundred feet wide. Mission Blvd. runs down the middle of it and the Pacific is just steps away as well as Mission Bay on the other side.
It's a truly unique location. The bright atmosphere first attracted us to this condo but the additional advantages that we appreciate now are the proximity to restaurants, shops and rental businesses. Not to mention the beach and bay on either side of the building. We can pull in to the gated and secure garage and never use our car again until we're ready to return on our journey.
