Stunning views of your lake from nearly every room, and all the amenities to make your vacation unforgettable. Paddle boards, fire pit, lawn games and beautiful outdoor spaces on Upper Herring Lake.
Enjoy fantastic fishing, or floating and swimming from the dock. Fully stocked kitchen for family meals, as well as a propane grill. Close to quintessential Northern Michigan towns of Frankfort and Beulah, and just minutes from Lake Michigan, dunes, the Betsie River, an alpaca farm, hiking, fishing charters and brew pubs. Walk to a u-pick blueberry farm in season! Or just never leave the backyard.
Our 1600 sf home was fully remodeled and painted in 2021, with a beautiful, serene interior. Enjoy board games and puzzles while watching the sunset from the huge windows along the back of the home. Relax with a book on the covered side porch. 3 bedrooms each with queen beds, plus two fold out beds (one is a fold-out small couch and one is a fold out bean bag bed, both which can accommodate kids and young teens).
Upper Herring hosts a bird sanctuary, with bald eagles, kingfishers and herons making their homes here. Enjoy this tranquil little piece of our beautiful earth.

We are Julie and Randy, and have owned this lake house for about 5 years, and we are thrilled to start sharing this beautiful spot with others! We are new to hosting, and excited to meet you, and to do all that we can to make your visit relaxed and unforgettable. We have two daughters, age 19 and 22, and we love every minute we spend in Northern Michigan.

The house is on a gravel dead-end road, surrounded by nature and peace. There are very few houses on Upper Herring Lake, with most of it protected nature area, so the lake is very quiet.
Qué distingue a esta propiedad
We love the home because even when you are inside, you feel like you are outdoors lakeside, with all the big windows. And we love the "secret" covered side porch for napping, reading or lounging.
