This St. Louis Historic bungalow boasts 2 inviting bedrooms with 2 queen beds and a cute little sunroom great for lounge space, yoga, or kids play space. A pack n play, a child cots, and child blow up mattress with side are available for your little ones that may be too young for a big bed and a Dog Den area as well with toys, bed, fabric kennel, blankets, dish, leash, and more, Plenty of children's items including linens for them, baby bath, 2 booster seats, misc items and toys, supplies, and more. The cozy atmosphere and soothing decor make it a perfect retreat for guests looking to unwind. With amenities like AC, WiFi, and a bathtub, your stay will be comfortable and convenient. Experience the magic of St. Louis at our brilliant bungalow. EXPERIENCE TRUE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Your host is a super host providing the best experience possible.

PARKING IS STREET PARKING... There is a designated space for the home right at the walkway to front door very close and security camera faces street and walkways.
CHECK IN TIME IS 5... If you need earlier; advance request required and not guaranteed. There may be an additional charge of $20 but would be disclosed in advance.
IF HANDICAP OR OLDER SENIORS: Be aware this home may not be best suited as there are no support bars in bathroom and steps at entry and rear. The front steps are wide so no railing so may be a challenge for some. If you have any ? please contact me before booking and I'll send you pictures and give you clarification on ANYTHING in ? You will not be able to be refunded after the fact so please reach out first. I'm happy to accommodate you in any way I can.

PS REVIEWS in regard to Neighbor. That neighbor just sold and moved 2nd week of June 2026 after those reviews. Apparently thats why they didn't care how they acted recently as family issues. But they are gone and new neighbor is quiet and polite.

Hi. According to your review and messages you were happy but you only gave me an 8 out of 10 lowering my rating below the requirement I have to keep to stay a premier host. Overall a great place. We felt safe here and the neighborhood was quiet. Bathroom is a bit small, and the shower was broken, but we made it fine with a bath and the host was very responsive. Perfect for a quick trip to St Louis. We would definitely stay again.

We were given extra time to check in and out. There were so many things available such as games and even snacks. The home was so warm and welcoming. I’d definitely recommend the stay!

Neighborhood was not described in listing at all. Bedroom was a dining room. Toilet is in older home, anyone plus size needs to know the tight space to sit. Better for 2 or maybe 3 max. Not a real table to sit for meals. Shower was broken was told when we arrived and did not offer to get fixed, but we would not have wanted people in and out anyway as we did not feel the safest already. Was listed no party on our rental but the house beside was smoking and it was definitely a party for them and it blew into the house with the kids.

You never said a word to me. Communication would have went a long way. And what does a neighbor smoking on their own front front porch have to do with no parties allowed at my house? What??? That didn't even make sense. Sorry the wind blew in your direction that day. Wow. Neighborhood not described in listing? Ummmm not even sure what that meant either. It's St. Louis City at the edge of the Grove as stated. If you don't know the city you are visiting; do research prior to traveling. That's on you if you don't like the city you visited. Not on me. I've lived here 58 years. Older home? Ummm yes that's also in the listing 100 year old home on the Historic Registry. Pictures in the listing if the bathroom and a note saying Clearly that if you are a larger person the bathroom may not be right for you. YOUR FAULT you didn't read the listing or research the city you decided to stay in and for whatever reason you had an issue with older communities or maybe you have issue with the mixed culture of different people I guess. Not really sure what went wrong here on this one. Again communication is key. Can't fix what i don't know about. That's why several guests in a row could stay and be an issue in not aware of because of lack of communication. People just want to trash someone they don't know fir whatever reason like this is social media or something.

I'm kind of disappointed i got an 8 instead of 10 because felt it was small when the sq ftg was noted in the listing as 900 sq ft. 2 bedroom/1 bath plus photos provided not I'm glad you enjoyed you were pleased otherwise.

Visiting the Arch!

My daughter and I were stopping on our way to Kansas and wanted to go to the Arch. Nice location to restaurants and two bedrooms. Clean and tidy place.

Comfortable Stay

Our stay here was perfect. We had everything we needed and then some. The neighborhood was quiet and we were able to get a good night’s sleep in the comfortable beds. We appreciated that there were little chairs for our pre toddler to sit in and that it was a safe environment for him to crawl around in. The property was exactly as listed and we really had no complaints at all.

Cute little home. Had all the extras you sometimes need. Toys & coloring books for kids, baby gear, dog water bowls, bed & toys, extra food storage baggies & plastic wrap were helpful for our day at the zoo. The home was clean. Parking was occasionally difficult but that's street parking for ya. Our 4 dogs enjoyed the yard. I appreciated that the yard was securely fenced and they were able to roam. - always had to keep an eye on them though because we had chihuahuas and German Shepherds- my little dogs love to be escape artists. My kiddos loved the extra drinks and snacks provided for them by the host. My only complaint would be that the toilet is way too close to shower. I'm 5'5 and I just barely fit to sit down. I know that's not an easy fix though, so I don't fault the host. The house was clean and didn't stink of artificial fragrance, though some unscented dish soap & hand soap would have been appreciated. Most soaps are just too fragrant and colored- lol not necessary. The location was great! 10-20 minutes to the zoo, the dome, smookin bones bbq, pipers tea & coffee, the breakfast corner restaurant (amazing), and clementine's naughty or nice Creamery (must try!)

Very quick neighborhood…. That was the seller for me… the place is near a church and the bell rings every hour… I just love any musical sounds so I personally loved the bell sound… very cute place with everything you need… for pets and children… it was a very lovely stay… if I had to give one criticism to have the place deeper cleaned every once and awhile get the place deep cleaned… people with sensitive noses can smell the dog dander… but everthing was exactly as it was shown… oh and I got to meet the owner and she was very lovely…

My husband and I brought our 14 year old son 9 year old nephew and 2 year old niece. It was a nice quiet house. My niece loved the sun room. We all enjoyed outside and in the garage. Plenty toys for kids. The owner responded fast and was very friendly. If we ever need a place to stay in st Louis again we will definitely see if it’s available!

Somewhat acceptable accomodations

Good - beds are comfy, love the back and front porches, the air purifier is a nice touch, and Julia was in constant communication replying very quickly.Concerns - bathroom is extremely small (barely any leg room when sitting on the toilet and my daughter is only 5'9"), neighborhood is questionable (BP gas station had someone guarding the door at night), and had to take out my own garbage (don't understand why the cleaning fee doesn't cover this).

I'm so sorry that you were concerned about the neighborhood and bathroom. I do have the information about the bathroom in the listing as well as seen in photos. I will review the listing to be clearer if I need to. In regard to the neighborhood. That's nothing specific to our neighborhood. That is commonplace St. Louis, Mo. St. Louis is on the high end for crime, especially in the middle of the night and at gas stations as the entire basic parts of the city close early and has curfew for the youngins for that reason. Typically a community issue and non tourist related. This neighborhood is not next to the BP in reference but it is a few miles up the road and that BP is next to a major highway that runs from New York to St. Louis to Chicago to California which is why there is a police officer. It's to help you feel more secure & we are all halt they are there so we all have a safe place to go. I do understand your anxiety about the area of you aren't familiar with the city of St. Louis. It's a quiet street that everyone walks their dogs down the sidewalks and say hello. Not a scary place at all. Also back yard is fenced with 6 ft privacy on one side with elderly woman next door and the other side is 8 ft chainlink fence with privacy screen with a family. Both have security cameras the same as I and we all watch out for each other as we all can see almost all the way down the street. Didn't mean to sound like rant. Just want other guests to understand the environment they are reading about in this review. I'm happy to hear you enjoyed my home. We would love to have you back and hope you would feel safer the next time knowing it's not like it seemed and that's a norm in the entire city in all areas no matter where you book. More small owned restaurants and pubs rather than big chains for a unique experience and lots to choose from no matter what your tastes are. Many bar and grill locations could be walked to if desired. Dog walkable neighborhood. Next to a church-side view so no direct traffic.
