Easy check-in and out. Super friendly hosts. Close to beach and great suggestions for places to eat. We had a great weekend! Will stay again when we come back to the area!

Our host Bryan and Marti went above and beyond to make sure that we had all the necessary information about our stay before ever even arriving at the property. Upon arrival everything about the place was as described and very clean. We visited many of the recommended restaurants in the area that Bryan suggested we try. Overall a wonderful stay and we would recommend anyone to stay here.

This cozy little place was perfect for us and our 10 year old daughter. We were in town for a weekend to attend a wedding. The beach access is close. They had chairs for us to use at the beach and some beach toys for our daughter. Quiet neighborhood which was perfect for us. Everything we needed as we had planned to enjoy all of the seafood NC could offer (we are from the Midwest). If you want to cook in they have what you need. They were always accessible and answered our questions very promptly through the app. Oak Island is a perfect little get away

This was our second stay with Bryan and Marti at their lovely home. The communication leading up to our stay, as well as during our stay was fantastic and welcoming. We love the convenience of the location, both for ease of access to beach strand area, but also for the quiet neighborhood vibe it provides when not at the beach. Great local public dock is nice for evening sit along the intercostal and Yacht Drive provides enjoyable morning walk/jog location.The rental itself is the perfect size for a nice couples getaway, well appointed and always clean and Bryan and Marti are quick to assist with any questions you may have.We highly recommend them as hosts and this rental unit.They also had a nice note and gesture awaiting to be us on our arrival for an anniversary getaway

From check in to check out, everything was perfect. The hospitality of the owners was nothing short of top notch. The property was clean, well stocked and everything we needed for our short getaway. If you’re looking for a short getaway as a couple, I’d highly recommend this property for your next trip.

Perfect stay!

We had a wonderful stay and we're so pleased with everything about the property! It was perfect for my husband and I and our two year old! The owners and super kind and respond quickly to any questions! The apartment was incredibly neat and we will definitely be staying again!

Very cute little place on a quiet street, perfect for a couple or family of 3. There were lots of snacks provided and everything needed for your morning (and afternoon)coffee fix. Bryan and Marti were very nice and quick to respond to any questions. Would definitely stay there again!!

From the moment we booked to the sad departure from Oak Island the process with Bryan was enjoyable and efficient. The host did a wonderful job of communicating with us in advance.A really nice getaway trip at a great location. Clean, cute apartment location in a quiet location. With easy (7 minutes max) access to beach and a pleasant neighborhood to enjoy evening walks in (with nearby public dock with bench seating to watch ICW small boat traffic) this is a great location.Highly recommend the hosts and location and would definitely stay again !

FANTASTIC

Bryan and Marti are superb hosts! The home was perfect. Location was amazing. Quiet neighborhood and close to all the beaches. Everything was spotless. The bed was extremely comfortable. They had extra snacks, variety of coffee, appliances to cook anything, beach items to take along for the day, and cold water in the fridge. I would definitely stay here again!!!

Anniversary Trip

41 years together.. we currently live in an RV, So we’re always excited to have more room..Had a Great stay, Property New, and we loved every minute of it Host is incredible.. We’ll return when The lord says so.. and when we save some More Money..Two broke Gypsy’s

Weekend Getaway

Took our 2 boys for end of school weekend trip. Everything mentioned in the listing is completely accurate. The host communicates very well and answers all your questions. The apartment was super clean, small but just what we needed for the 4 of us for a weekend. Just blocks away from the beach. We would definitely go back!!

If ur looking for a nice cozy and quiet spot for just a few people. This is the place to be. The place was in perfect condition when I checked in. Super clean and nice and cool inside the paradox palace (it’s hot in July) communication with the owners was simple and easy. I would definately recommend the paradox to anyone interested in staying in the oak island area. I know it will be my go to spot when I am in the area. Thank you for a beautiful place to stay. Guest never expressed concern during her stay, but afterward complained that she could hear a small dog walking in a hallway on the floor above her. Dog is no longer allowed in the hallway.
