Upon entering the first level of the home, there is a large beautiful granite kitchen with stainless appliances and cherry wood cabinetry, and an oceanfront living room with amazing views. There is also a private courtyard area, perfect for barbecuing. Central AC is available for those hot sunny days.

Additional parking is available at our office, located at 1640 Oceanside Blvd., Oceanside CA 92054.

Perfect ocean side spot

Great house with plenty of space for our whole group. Small issue where the garage wouldn’t close so just had do so manually but other than that. Perfect.

Beach paradise!

All of our kids and 9 grandkids came together from as far away as Washington for 3 days of adventure, chaos, and fun! Not only were the days beautiful and the waves great, we were able to access the beach from the backyard during the 4 hours of lower tides. That was a game changer to be able to go to the beach straight from the house. Kevin welcomed us at the house and gave us a showing of house everything worked. We will definitely do a repeat for next year!!!!

Disappointed

I write to address a series of issues encountered during our recent family reunion at your Oceanside property. Our experience fell significantly short of expectations, and I believe it's important you're aware of these shortcomings. 1. **Air Condition**: It is a basic expectation that they should be operational. We were left inconvenienced multiple times during our stay. 2. **Oven Replacement**: A major appliance failing and requiring replacement during our stay is unacceptable and disrupted our planned meals. 3. **Lack of Beach Access**: This was the most distressing oversight. We specifically selected Oceanside for the beach experience, with family members flying in specifically for this. The omission of this critical detail in the listing caused considerable disappointment, especially for our elder family members who were particularly looking forward to it. Your photo of the property shows a sandy beach behind the house and that was not the case. Given these significant issues and considering the premium we paid: a) I urged them you to immediately update the listing to reflect the true state of the property and its amenities, ensuring future renters are adequately informed. b) We believe a 50% refund is both fair and necessary, reflecting the disparity between our expectations and reality. THEY DECLINED TO OFFER ANY REFUND WHATSOEVER.

Surprise 70th birthday party - 13 guests

The property was beautiful. We particularly enjoyed watching the dolphins frolic and bonfires with s’mores. We wished we had better ability to open windows on the 2nd and 3rd floor as well as the sliding glass doors on the ground level so we could get better ventilation/breeze and ability to hear the surf! The oven would not heat above 185 degrees. We mostly bbq’d and used the cooktop. Nice kitchen space with more than adequate fridge/freezer space between the kitchen and garage. We very much enjoyed our stay!

Surf trip with the boys

We had a great trip playing outdoor games, surfing and enjoying bonfires. Awesome spot that provides enough bedrooms for all to sleep comfortably.

Beach reunion

Great property, great views, plenty of space and very comfortable for a large group. Air conditioning was fine in the bedrooms but the main living space got very warm on sunny days as the windows didn't open. The beach is not as nice as in the pictures and is inaccessible for much of the day as the tide comes all the way into the rocks. Outdoor area is great and kids had fun in the ocean once the tide went out.

The house was perfect for our group. The beach was only accessible at low tide, but the view was fantastic. We had a great time.

Cleanliness was very poor, broken and rust on doors, overhead fan not operating, maintenance person came in, could fix issues, stated he would return next day to fix issues and never returned

Great location

We truly loved that this home fit our family and all of their needs. The kitchen facilities were amazing. However, the bathroom need updating.

Amazing home, pictures do not do this home and view justice

Easy to book, check in and out. This home was more than we expected, 3 story home with oceanfront views and a private beach. Large beautiful kitchen fully st ones with everything you could ever need. Counting the days until we return.

Our stay

There were 2 rooms that had broken windows meaning a huge gap to let in the cold air .. we were staying at this property when it was windy and cool! We were also planning on having our children play with the fosball game that was pictured in the house on the website but when we arrived there was nothing! So needless to say the kids (& parents) were all disappointed

10/4-10/9 Stay at P1919

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Hi Beachfront! This is our second time staying at one of your properties. Just wanted to provide some feedback on this house. Of course, we know we are paying for the view which was LOVELY. But I wanted to let you guys know that the house was not very clean at all when we arrived. The floors were all very gritty, and the overall feel was not very clean. The bath tub downstairs has bleach stains in it which made me feel gross giving our boys a bath down there. Also, we showed up at 2:00 & the cleaners did not finish until almost 2:30.With how much you guys charge to check in early, I would expect the cleaning to be done on time. So that was really disappointing. It was raining that day too so we were all stuck outside after a very long drive waiting for them to finish. Not cool. Also, the very downstairs bedroom on the bottom floor leaks water from the outside REALLY bad. I have pictures. Lastly, not having cable is disappointing too. It would be nice to have cable to be able to watch live sports instead of trying to stream. Overall, we had a great vacation but I'm not sure we would stay at this particular property again.

Our one month stay at 1919 S Pacific in Oceanside

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I want to start by saying that Beachfront Only Vacation rentals service is amazing. They are incredibly helpful and responsive and make a vacation stay so much easier. Although the property is well maintained, there were issues that we believe renter should know about. We personally were not happy that two bedroom were added after we rented the property taking away what was a first floor enclosed "patio" which meant one had to use stairs to get to the outside patio on second floor. We also did not realize that the beach level bedroom and bathroom did not have an inside staircase. The high tide and difficult beach access hampered our stay - especially with young children.

Never Again!

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at this "beach house" several times over the last 10 has always been our favorite, until this year. The owners/management decided to remodel so they could cram more guests in. The remodel was not only unprofessional and incomplete, but it completely ruined the layout of this once beautiful house. To top it off, there is no access to the beach anymore. The water line now comes right up to the rocks and you are unable to spend time on the beach. It is now an "ocean view" house....not a beach house! As I said, we've stayed here multiple times but this year it was run down and dirty. The outdoor furniture was filty. The pull out couch had filty, blood stained sheets on it. We were sooo.... disappointed this year. We won't be back to this property.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We’ve been staying with Beachfront Only annually for the past 9 years and we love it. Unfortunately, however, i would have to say the quality of the homes has gone down. A lot of maintenance issues. The microwave wouldn’t work. As soon as two things were running in the kitchen the breaker would trip. If someone was showing upstairs, the 2 bottom showers would have zero water pressure. Literally a drizzle. There was hairs and weed left between the couch cushions...which would mean they only vacuumed the surface of the couch. My son had the steps break on him as he was walking down them to the lower level of the house. Like crumble under his feet, a good 9 inch by 2 inch chunk. Had that been an older person or a child, someone could have seriously injured. Then i noticed all the steps look like they had done the same thing and had just been cemented back on. Thats an accident waiting to happen.

Stay was great. Property not so much

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Main floor was dirty, not mopped. 2nd floor bathroom had a lot of hair around the floor vent and dirty bathtub. Refrigerator/freezer not cold enough. Set at 37, but not getting that cold. Lost some food and think we got food poisoning because of it. Out of 15 people, all but 3 got sick and were throwing up, me also! That's not normal. Garage was over flowing with trash. Supposed 2 car garage is only large enough for 2 small SUV.s. Had to park all but one outside. No instructions as to how to use heating/cooling units in bedrooms. Not enough or no drawer space in rooms. Lacking closets also. Pictures on your website made it look like we had full access to beach. Not so. That is one of the reasons I wanted this one. I have bad knees and cannot go up and down the stairs to the beach, which was not even accessible except one day. Broken or damages window (2 inch gap) in back bedroom so it was to cold to even sleep there.We rented from you last year and that house was immaculate. I would still recommend you to friends, but not for this one. Contact me if I can be of any assistance.

Misrepresentation of property

On arrival the house was not ready. We waited 2 hours for remodeling crew and cleaners to leave. When we able to enter, to our horror, we discovered that the key feature of the home, the beautiful master bedroom and en-suite with a private sunroom, had been remodeled into FOUR small bedrooms, NONE of which had an en-suite bathroom. The new small bedrooms were without nightstands and closets. Instead they were equipped with a basic clothes rack! Bizarrely, the walls between some of these bedrooms were just the original external windows, compromising both privacy and comfort. The ONLY indication we were given that there had been a remodel was a call the day before we arrived, saying that the sunroom had been turned into an extra bedroom, and “apart from that, everything is exactly the same”. The remodel was unfinished, floors were liberally splattered with paint, door handles were missing, one bathroom had exposed drywall as it had not been tiled, some smoke detectors still had construction tape in place, rendering them useless. The customer service throughout our visit was lacking. We raised concerns about some electrical and lighting issues in the house, but our calls were not returned. We were also promised a commercial settlement for the misrepresentation of the property. VRBO advised us that the property should have been removed from the listing during the remodeling, then re-listed with the new specifications. VRBO opened a complaint against the property management company, Beachfront Only, and is now representing us in the matter as our calls requesting compensation to Beachfront Only were not returned. In summary, the Oceanside location is very pleasant, but the remodel had clearly created a number of issues which need to be investigated and addressed prior to any subsequent guests, these include a number of safety issues which we will report directly to VRBO. Our entire party was very disappointed that Beachfront Only had misrepresented this property and therefore mismanaged our expectations.

Working on vacation

This property was beautiful. Although, the house was warm when we arrived. at first the maintenance man came and the unit was broken, he tired his best to fix but It was 85 degrees and I would have liked to come in to a cool home to relax, as we all know a 3 story home doesn't cool down quickly. All electricity was on a timer and during the night we had to get up every four hours to turn on the timer for A/C unit. There was also spider webs all over the porch and outside area. We also had a mouse in the kitchen, while I was having a chef prepare dinner for our party. The maintenance man did come and put out traps but as you know the mouse wasn't going to come out while people are there. it eventually was caught by my hired chef in the cabinet. With that being said we had to wash everything in the cabinets prior to use. I felt I did more talking to maintenance people regarding AC unit and critters than I did relaxing and enjoying myself. I would love some sort of compensation for the inconvenience..

Great location, layout is a bit misleading

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is in a great location, we had a good time and enjoyed the beach every day. The property is well equipped and ready for cooking and basically you can feel right at home. Watch out for the cell phone service, it was barely working at the house and only at certain spots and the DSL internet was basically not usable. The layout of the house is a bit misleading, the 4th bedroom is really a den and unfortunately you have to go through it on the way to the lower deck and the back yard.
