This condo is a direct gulf front (the only thing between you and the gulf is sand) sun suite offering a panoramic view of the Gulf of Mexico. A sun suite is one large room divided into living and sleeping areas,combined with a full kitchen and separate bath. It is ideal for a couple or a small family and will comfortably sleep 2-4 people. The Gulf Shores Plantation is the most pristine vacation destinations on the Emerald beach. The low density condominium offers maximum privacy with a multitude of amenities. You can avail yourself of the six outdoor pools, jacuzzi, saunas, exercise room, a putting green, lighted tennis courts, basketball courts,horseshoe pits, charcoal grills among other amenities. The world famous Kivia Dunes golf course is adjacent to the Plantation. The unit is furnished with satellite TV, free internet service, and telephones. BEAUTIFUL LOCATION

From the moment we booked, the owner was welcoming. The condo comes with everything that you need to cook or you can eat at the restaurant located directly below the condo. The view is amazing! Some things are a little outdated but you cannot beat it for the location and price. We will definitely be back!

Just what we needed

Everything was amazing! The only issue that we ran into was I was responsible for buying/ bringing any rolls of toilet paper, paper towels and trash bags after the one that was already there at check in. We Also received one bath towel per family member ( family of 4) for our stay of 5 nights. I had to pay to wash them if I wanted them clean ones in the washers and dryers.

Just Right

We enjoyed our stay!!! The condo is on the third floor with a great view of the ocean. The balcony is small which was perfect for my husband and I to sit and relax after a long day out with our children. I read some of the other reviews before booking and was nervous about some of the things mentioned, but we didn’t have one problem with anything our whole stay. We have two young sons and a two month old little girl so we spent most of our time at the indoor pool because of the high temperatures. We look forward to staying here again next year.

Perfect Little Place

This was our second time staying here! We love it! It's perfect for our young family of four. If you have older kids might be a little small if yall need privacy as everything (except the toilet and the shower) is one big room. But the property is nice definitely more family oriented area. Host is always quick to get our check-in materials to us. If you love being on the beach and just enjoying a family getaway then this is a perfect little place to stay!

Room cod have been cleaner, shower curtain rod would not stay in place fell several times. Overall great room and view for the price would book again.

Ocean Front

Small but efficient. Great ocean view from balcony. Pleasant atmosphere. Great beach and access. Great shower. Mac was a terrific host. I would stay here again.

Beautiful views

The location of this condo is awesome. It was nice and quiet. The views from the windows were amazing. The unit was clean and had most things we needed. The mattress on the bed is hard to the point it interfered with our sleep. Also I would recommend adding additional light sources as the two provided lamps provided minimal light at night. Overall though our stay was wonderful.

Perfect Couple Getaway

We had a fantastic stay! Mac quickly answered questions before the trip and emailed all needed documents well in advance. This made check-in a breeze. The condo was just as described and shown in the pictures. We had great food and drinks at Sassy Bass Island Grill, located just a few floors below the condo. Everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful. Beach and pool access was easy, and the condo balcony's ocean view was perfect!

Nice Getaway

We stayed 3 nights. More than enough room for myself and my daughter. We messaged the owner about 4 different times and he quickly answered my questions. Several things could be updated in the welcome letter. The condo could use some maintenance and upgrades, but considering the price of our stay, I was satisfied. We would stay again.

Disappointed in Room & Conversation with Owner; Loved Beach & Quiet Location

We arrived and noticed there was sand all over the floor and bunk. There was no bedding on or for the top bunk bed. The outlets nearest the bed/sliding door were not working (mentioned in other reviews so this isn’t a new problem). Remote wasn’t working properly (also not new). The microwave, toaster, and coffee pot were not working properly because the outlet over the stove kept shorting out (not a new issue). We had to move all of those appliances TO THE FLOOR, to find a working outlet. That isn’t safe, convenient, or sanitary. The living room vents have mold on them also. These were complaints in other reviews, but looked like they were addressed because of Mac’s replies so we didn’t worry about them, but they weren’t fixed. When we emailed Mac about these issues and explained we wanted to give him a head’s up before we wrote our review (out of courtesy), he accused us of extorting/blackmailing him! We had to purchase more toilet paper and trash bags while there, yet we did not ask for reimbursement. We also did not ask for reimbursement for our stay. It was not extortion or blackmail. I shared with Mac that in our other stays, the owners wanted us to let them know before leaving info like that in a review. The beach and pools were wonderful. Check-in was easy. Good price, but you get what you pay for.

Great for a weekend get away!

We enjoyed the complex very much. The condo was exactly as advertised. This is a great place for a weekend get away for two adults and a child. The microwave does short out, but other than that, it was perfect!! We will be back!!

Inaccurate advertising

When you book the room, the advertisement leads you to believe you have a nice oceanview with a 1 bedroom when you actually have a 200' walk down a very long hallway to get to the end room where you enter a studio room in the kitchen with a bathroom (without a working light the entire time we were there) without a sink. The sink is located in the kitchen and within 2 steps you're in the living room where the bed (not a room) is located along with a couch, a chair and a coffee table. 2 steps past the coffee table is the 6' sliding door with where the 6' patio ocean view is waiting that is large enough for 2 tall patio chairs and a small table in the corner. You couldn't put another chair up there because then there was no walking room, Someone had to get up and move for anyone to get off the balcony. When we plugged the coffee pot into the top plug in the kitchen, it didn't work so we plugged it into the bottom where it sparked. We were afraid to try the microwave at that point. The plug by the bed half way up on the right wall didn't work, so the plug on the left wall had to be used for phone chargers, etc. but a light or the tv had to be unplugged before hand since that was the only plug on the wall. An extension cord was run from behind the couch for the light and to allow another open plug to even be used. All in all we had a laugh about everything but please someone fix these things and do a better job of advertising exactly what you have.

Needed to look out on beach.

Everything is there in most reviews. Husband had knee replacement so needed great view and location. It was good. A few plug in not working. Temperature of room great. We enjoyed the whole stay. Great view..

Spring break

Smaller than what the picture show but the view makes up for that. There was no spare sheets for pull out bed. The amount of extension cords is a safety concern. And the outlet behind microwave sparks
