Thank you for staying with us, Monica! Yes, the beach is very very close and down a staircase like the listing describes lol! Climbing back up after a long walk on the beach is no joke tho! Come back soon if you can. Winter on the Oregon Coast is quite an epic adventure - waterfalls, agates, whales, dungeness crab season, and King Tides 🐋 🌊 🦀

We enjoyed our stay here for 6 nights. Enjoyed the views of the ocean and especially the sunsets. Unit was clean, comfortable, and as a bonus pet-friendly. Communication with property owner was easy and they responded quickly. Would stay here again. Thank you for making our stay so wonderful!

Cozy 1 bedroom 1 bath condo. Great spot for a couple. Dog friendly. Easy walking distance to the beach. Shops and restaurants with in a short drive. Great easy communications with host.

We stayed 2 nights at Ocean Haven (Fairly #11) and enjoyed our stay - perfect for my husband and I & our dog. We had trouble finding the driveway to enter the property at first, but finally figured it out - there are two driveways to enter, depending on what unit number you rent. You might ask the host ahead of time which driveway to enter from. Beach access was just a few short blocks away, solid concrete stairs (not slippery wood) and easy to find. Only issue I had was an injured knee, so I couldn't navigate the 6-7 flights of stairs. We researched easier access beaches and found Fogarty Creek State Park, which we spent the entire day at (with parking pass, came and went as needed). It has a much easier walk to the beach from parking lot, with just a small incline & no stairs. The unit was clean and cozy, with all basic essentials provided for a short stay. The little patio with picnic table was great to watch the sunset from! There was no hair dryer, but the bathroom shower has shampoo/conditioner and body soap dispencers. The only dislike was that the smoke alarm battery was failing, and went off in middle of the night, so my husband took it down to shut it off. This happens at our own home on occassion, so totally understandable. Over all, we had a very relaxing and much needed break from the hustle & bustle of every day life.

Thank you for the lovely review! We sure enjoyed hosting your two. Entering the parking lot right off the 101 is the best way to go for sure - and any parking spot available after that. Sorry to hear about your injured knee. There's also a very close beach access point right in Taft with free parking but, Fogarty is amazing as well! There is literally no wind there as it's surrounded on all sides and feels like a tropical beach! Please do come back and stay with us whenever your in the area. We promise the smoke alarm wont chirp at you next time! Safe travels

Perfect little spot, close to the beach, and so cozy! We had a beautiful view of the ocean and the sunset every night. It was the best way to spend the week with our two dogs.
