This unassuming little place was such a surprise! The amenities and decor were fabulous. Check in and out was very easy and the host was great with regards to communication. Can't wait to stay there again!

This is an older house that has been updated with appliances and fixtures. It has window units for AC. It was relatively clean but had a strong musty odor when we arrived. A few cobwebs in corners and ceiling fans. There were plenty of pots, pans and silverware. We booked this property specifically for its proximity to Magee Marsh - about 15 minutes away. Restaurant options are limited unless you drive to Toledo. We would not stay here again, but for a large family or 2 couples wanting a budget alternative, it might work. We left 1 day early for our 4 night booking due to poor weather and let the host know about our concerns. He responded promptly.

This location is fantastic for those interested in the Lake Erie Birding Trail. The host did an excellent job in providing an excellent home with all you could ask for and more. Even a great site for birding in the backyard and the community. It was a pleasant surprise to see a host that provided in each bedroom a plug for electronics. Other surprises included a small cooler, laundry and other cleaning supplies. The host was very responsive to any questions we had during our stay. Great views of sunset over Lake Erie.

We enjoyed our stay! A group of us came to ice fish and the location couldn't be beat! There is a public beach access next to the house. The house was very clean and updated. Plenty of space and a great layout. Would love to come back and enjoy the lake in the summer time as well. The host was very responsive and accommodating to our requests. Thank you so much!

Our family vacation

A fantastic stay. Cozy, clean, and peaceful. The only thing we would suggest is adding some tvs to the bedrooms. I would highly recommend and hope to return. Thank you for a great experience.

Was a beautiful home right at the beach, great host and this VRBO actually had a well stocked kitchen for your kitchen and living needs, learn from this all you iother VRBO. We will return

July 4th 2025

We had a fantastic time. The place was excellent and we had no issues. I highly recommend this place. The neighbors and the people in the area were very friendly. We loved the public beach and Frog Point. We enjoyed the lake and fishing. Our crew caught 40 Walleye's. The fire works in the area put on fantastic show over the 4th of July weekend. We will be back.

Blanks are very warm, a lighter option would be helpful. The kitchen is VERY well equipped.

I have stayed in many rentals over the years and from a supply and equipment perspective, this one was the best. This property had everything needed to make me feel at home. The kitchen was perfectly outfitted as were the bathrooms. The shade trees kept the house even during the heatwave. Great place to stay.

Process and communication with owner was great. The check out process easy and too onerous. The beds were great and the amenities excellent. Pretty much everything you would need and plenty of space. Would think a second tv would be nice. One negative is not really sure what tv service is really available and no info onsite about this. Does have a good Samsung tv you can sign into your own service. Definitely would use again and very happy from a group of guys fishing in the area.
