Escape to this peaceful farmstead just outside of town for a truly relaxing getaway. The back porch is great for watching stunning sunsets over the pond and overlooking the active horse pasture! Stocked with top-quality fishery, it's a paradise for fishing enthusiasts. Nestled right up the road from Hanover College, 10 minutes from Historic Downtown Madison and Clifty State Park, and just 3 minutes from a local store. Book your stay now and enjoy the tranquility of this unique retreat!

This beautiful home offers a beautiful an open floor plan featuring hardwood floors throughout. The high ceilings and large rooms create a sense of space and comfort, while the abundance of windows allows guests to take in stunning views from the comfort of the indoors. The house boasts a fully furnished interior with 1 King, 1 Queen, 1 Twin & 1 Full bed spread across 3 generously sized bedrooms.

The Master bedroom includes its own luxurious Master Bath with a Jacuzzi, while the other two bedrooms share a large bathroom located conveniently across the hall. Additionally, there is a half bath located in the laundry room for added convenience. The kitchen is a highlight of the home, offering a massive space for cooking and spending quality time together.

With 3 spacious bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms, there is plenty of room for family and friends to relax and unwind during their stay. Whether catching the sunrise or sunset, this home provides a perfect retreat for those looking to escape and enjoy beautiful & peaceful surroundings in this country setting!

You'll have access to the entire home and back yard right up to the lake. You will not be able to access the attached garage, barn or the pasture areas.

The Horse Hands and I will be on the property now and then. Not to disturb anyone. We will stay mainly in the barn area. If you do have questions, please feel free to ask.
*Propane tank not supplied for grill*

Guests will have access to a portion of the lake, but not all. Upon arrival, please check the welcome binder on the counter for parameters!

The property was nice. The yard was very large and manicured and nice view of the lake in the back. Horses grazing beside the property. It is definitely family friendly. Plenty of room for a family. Easy drive to downtown Madison and Hanover College is just a few miles down the road. The host left a nice notebook with information about the area, check in and check out. Only comment to add, It does need lamps by the beds.

The home was lovely. Beautiful view of the lake. We enjoyed watching the horses in the field from the sunroom. It was perfect size for our group. Lots of space, plenty of seating for everyone. Nice size kitchen. It had most things you would need. There was a musty smell when we arrived, the host is dealing with the issue. The beds could use an upgrade not the most comfortable.

The Hanover House was very large, nicely furnished and the sunrise and sunsets were beautiful. A perfect getaway for a group of friends. Plenty of room to spread out and play games. Very relaxing, close to restaurants, shopping and site seeing. The host was extremely friendly and very helpful and quick to respond. We would definitely stay there again!!!

All rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable. The host was very quick to help out with a situation that came up. There was a Dollar General and a diner less than 5 minutes away, We spent a day in Madison shopping and drove to the casino in Vevay another day. We saw a deer everyday we were there. She'd come to drink from the pond. It's a large home with plenty of space for entertaining.

The property is very spacious, private and on a beautiful lot. We did have concerns, however, on the upkeep. The home could use some TLC. All it would take would be a good thorough cleaning, a couple more window drapes and lighting. We have brought this to the attention of the property manager and hopefully the issues will be addressed. There is so much potential and enough gathering space for larger groups.Just a short drive to Madison and Clifty Falls. Great location.
