A Great Relaxing Stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our second stay at The Wee Cabbage. In 2024 we stayed at close to the same time of year, but our experience was much different this year. The upgrades and added insulation/windows made our stay even better than the stay in 2024. The location is just wonderful - right at the beach, the sunsets are incredible over the lake, and it’s just the right size for the two of us and our dog. Nice quiet area with plenty of outdoor activities nearby. Thanks for another great stay. We’ll definitely be back in the future!

A Delightful Stay

Very lean rustic cottage feel. Second bedroom wasn’t really a bedroom. It has a rod with a curtain for privacy. No air conditioning but we didn’t need it because the evenings were cool.Beautiful beach area. Beautiful view! Would definitely stay again!

Wonderful Wee Cottage

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A beautiful spot right on Lake Michigan! Visit Up North is good to work with and the Cottage fits the description and pictures. The views are wonderful! Walking the shore is great, especially to the north where there is a little path above the seawall and stairs to get to the beach. The neighborhood is also very quiet and great for walking. There are many excellent hiking trails in the area and also good biking. So many nice restaurants in the around , including the food trucks in Arcadia and the M. T. Plate diner. We are looking forward to a return trip.

A Dream Come True!

The location is spectacular with access to miles of shoreline and just a short drive from downtown Arcadia and several local attractions. The management company was helpful and responsive. We have been here several times and will keep coming back again and again!

The small cottage was very clean had a lot of character and the views of the Lake were amazing. Having your own private beach was great. Also having most of the beach to the North being uninhabited and available for walks was awesome. Hidden gem this cottage is. It is rustic so no a/c and we were there for a couple hot nights so that was only downside. Other than that the place is great. We will def be back

We loved the rustic cottage. We had everything we needed in the kitchen, plenty of towels, great hot water tank. No TV, but had good internet service. It was just a short distance to the small deck overlooking the lake. A stairway led to the fire pit and then a few more steps to the beach. The sunsets were beautiful.

Great amenities & convenient

Great home & nice area. Everything was super clean upon arrival & so many neat things inside & around the home, this house had a lot to offer! The back deck & little private beach area with the fire pit & the views that came with that made this spot that much better. Frankfort & Manistee are not far away either which was also convenient. Tons to do within the area, we really enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

wonderful location

There could not be better views of Lake Michigan, or a better beach. This is just a wonderful place. The place is very thoughtfully set up, from the hose for washing off sandy feet to the kitchen to having plenty of towels. It was as described-- "rustic"-- so don't be surprised by that.

Great beach vacation

We had the best time at this cute cabin on Lake Michigan for the 4th of July week. The place itself is exactly how it’s described and is a perfect location for a beach vacation. We did zero day trips (grew up on lake MI and have been to almost every place on the west side, if you have not, then it’s a perfect place for day trips). The neighbors were fantastic, very friendly which is great because the houses are close. We will definitely be back. It was exactly what we were looking for on a relaxed vacation. Very clean, full of books (good ones too!), games and the kitchen was well stocked with what you need to cook.

Sweet little place on the lake.

Overall a nice little place for an escape. Our dog did set off a live mouse trap (he was unharmed) and found one with a dead mouse. It made him like the place even more.

Blissful!

The sunsets and beach combing were AMAZING!! Could not have asked for a better location for all of the outdoor activities we love to enjoy. Each day we hiked, went rock hunting, took the boardwalk looking to expand our bird-list, walked to the lighthouse in Frankfort, visited the art gallery there, and mostly just chilled. We hope to return soon.
