Our lovely beach cottage - "Beachhaven" is the perfect spot for a beach getaway. It is one row back from the ocean and less than a block away from beach access. It has great beach views and breezes. A fun place to take the family for a stress free relaxing vacation.

Recently upgraded with new furniture and flooring it is low maintenance and kid friendly. All carpet has been removed so the floors area easy to clean. The kitchen is stocked with the basic items that you will need.

Linens are provided or you can bring your own.

We would love to have you come stay at our little piece of paradise.

Outside exterior needs attention to the landscaping, & some flooring issues interior that the LL was aware of. Overall, the place is exactly as advertised. Proximity to the main areas of the island make this a charming place to rent!!! We would rent here again if needed, for sure!!!

Nice stay! Area was great and easy beach access but the place could definitely use some upgrades! Was expecting TV's in all bedrooms but one didn't have TV and one only played DVD's and tv in loft didn't work at all but overall it was a nice stay!

Wonderful visit to OIB! This house has everything needed and the location could not have been any better! We were able to walk to coffee, sweet treats and activities!

Host advised that the property was dated, however there were several things we did not expect for that description.... roaches, stiff beds and floor giving way. There were areas where there were raised floor swells that I constantly tripped over in the living room and in the master bedroom. I injured my foot bc the floor gave way. We had roaches come out at night we managed to kill 2 and the others we could not catch in time and they scurried away. The bedding had odor that wasn't ours. Beds were stiff and not comfortable. My husband ended up sleeping on the couch. There was also a concerning chair with rings at the wrist area. What in the world were those for? To tie someone down?

Relax and enjoy!

Comfortable and cozy place located in a great spot! So close to the beach and had everything we needed. Plenty of places to relax and enjoy island time.

This felt like a classic, more traditional beach house holding its own alongside some of the newer luxury homes in the area. The listing photos are a bit dated, as some of the neighboring lots that appear empty now have newly built homes on them.The house was clean, comfortable, spacious, and in an outstanding location within easy walking distance of the beach and nearby shops. It also offered a great value.That said, expect a few rough edges. During our stay, only the living room TV was usable. One of the TV issues had also been mentioned in a previous review, so it appears to be an ongoing maintenance item. We also found the propane tank for the grill to be empty. The host did offer to reimburse us if we exchanged the tank, which I appreciated. However, the TV issue was never resolved or followed up on during our stay.Overall, we still had a wonderful vacation. If the small maintenance items were addressed, this would be an even stronger rental.

Perfect Location

House was beautiful. Great location with easy access to the beach. Well stocked kitchen, plenty of towels too. Lots of room for the grandkids to run around. Highly recommend for a family vacation.

Nice quiet comfortable easy and spacious for the family, upper room has games for children.

Really enjoyed the place beach access 5 step away close to everything you can walk. Nice deck and very comfortable. Games for everyone upstairs in that area. Great bed TVs in every room except one. Owner very east to talk to.

Fun With Daughters and Granddaughters

My husband and I spent Sunday to Wednesday afternoon at the house and then five granddaughters arrived. Everything worked out so well—the house was a perfect fit, the proximity to the beach was perfect. Putt putt and. the ice cream stores were a stone’s throw away. We all had a great time.

Great location to beach

This property location is great, just across the street from the beach access and a short walk to the mini golf, shops and restaurants. The price is great and we were happy here for seven women on a girls trip. Please note, no beach towels, chairs, or umbrellas available and we did need to buy toilet paper (there were only two extra rolls), paper towels, trash bags, and laundry soap. The few questions I had for Dawn were followed up right away. She was very helpful.

Nice place

We had a great vacation here. The house had everything we needed. I only gave 4 stars on accuracy of online listing because the house is no longer a cream color. Its a teal. I didn't think we had the right house when we pulled up. The proximity to the public beach access was great! Thank you so much for the use of your lovely house!

Beach Haven

We really enjoyed our stay at Beach Haven! It was so nice that linens were included in our stay. The house had so many wonderful little starter items like Keurig pods, two dishwasher packs, 2 rolls of toilet paper, and a tea towel. We were pleasantly surprised to find some Eggos left in the freezer the morning after our arrival. We continued that tradition and left some for the next guests. There were night lights left around the house and it made our stay that much more like home. I really appreciated how much thought was put into the items left for us. Hope to go back soon!

Tine with family

We were all able to do our own thing. It was a few steps to the beach access. You could walk to the coffee shop just down the road . The house has everything you need to prepare meals there , but we were close enough to calabash, so we ate out most nights . The house has plenty of room and private spaces also . It isn’t fancy but it has all you will need for a great stay . The two decks are great for reading or just watching the ocean.
