Located a mere 7-10 minutes from downtown Boone. Elk Knob State Park is a 12-minute drive and features one of the highest peaks in North Carolina's high country.

Great place to stay for a weekend trip

Stayed here for a cousins snowboarding trip. Location was great. Away from the noise of the city but still close enough to enjoy Boone and Blowing Rock. Everything met expectations. Great place to stay for a weekend trip.

Great Week in the mountains.

The cabin was perfect as well as the setting. Walking the two hundred acres was very peaceful and helped relieve my stress.

Elk Knob Escape

Cute little cabin with extraordinary views of the mountains. The cabin was clean, well-stocked and fit our family comfortably. We felt secluded even though we were so close to downtown Boone. Highly recommended!Ps. We loved seeing the cows on the farm, that was a nice surprise.

Beautiful place. Everything you could need. Location is perfect for anything you could want to do around Boone. Was perfect for my husband and I. Our dog sassy enjoyed it to. Highly recommended

Great Mountain View Getaway

Great location, convenient to local towns and attractions but out of town enough to enjoy a peaceful view of several mountains. Great experience all around!

Cute place

We stayed for two nights since our son was in a wedding held at the adjacent Mill property. Perfect location for that. The cabin was just right for us and very nicely done inside.

Great Trip

Perfect for a small group or small family. Cabin was very clean and very easy to find. The location was convenient to downtown Boone and surrounding areas. Property was easy to find. We had a great time. Would def stay here again.

Excellent Host!

We booked our stay to be close to a nearby wedding venue. Our host was wonderful and the space clean and comfortable. We will definitely book again! And the kids loved their bunk space!

Came to town for Homecomeing and Hiking

Very nice property, awesome views in the morning as the sun comes up. Very close to Boone and to lots of hiking. Will definitely be coming back!!

Perfect for a weekend soccer tournament

We (2 adults, 2 kids) were in town for a weekend soccer tournament and stayed at Elk Knob Escape instead of a hotel. The layout and location of the tiny cabin were perfect for us. We would definitely recommend this property and stay there again ourselves.

Wonderful stay

We had a great stay at this property. Great proximity to downtown Boone. Beautiful view. We had an issue with the lock and received prompt feedback from the owner. Overall super happy and will definitely plan on being back!
