Cottage is on a 17-acre private property three miles from Battlefield and four miles from downtown Gettysburg providing a beautiful, peaceful setting for your relaxing get-away. Nature and seclusion are yours. Cottage has screened porch to enjoy solitude for everything from your morning coffee to your evening recollections of time spent on the battlefield, downtown stroll, or at the many special events in Gettysburg, such as the Reenactment, Remembrance Day, and the Bluegrass Festival.

Great location, lovely cottage. We really appreciated the ‘extras’ - snacks, drinks, and treats for the resident wildlife. The chickens, bunnies, ducks, and turkeys (beautiful!) were a memorable highlight of our stay.

Super cute cabin with all the necessities and more and in a very convenient location to all the sights of Gettysburg. We love being greeted by the many pet animals they have including their fabulous dog “Izzy” and enjoy relaxing on the screened/in porch overlooking the beautiful property. We stay two weekends every year and will keep coming back!

A wonderful property that I will tell others about and visit again next year! After two great days on the battlefield this was the perfect property to come back to for rest and reflection. Great place to catch the sunrise too! The host family was kind, welcoming and available if I needed anything.

The cabin was quite adorable and set in a quiet area just outside of town! Chris was quick to get back to us and made the check in process very easy. The only issues we had were the bed was rather squeaky and the wifi was too weak to function. But those were minor things that hardly took away from such a wonderful stay! Wyatt and Hannah

The cottage was beautiful and spotless. The hosts were very friendly and check-in was flawless. We really enjoyed the screened in porch and the various farm animals / pets that strolled by occasionally. We visit Gettysburg often and will certainly stay here again.

If I could rate this location greater than a 10, I would!! It was everything we expected and more! Can't say enough about the friendly little feather balls and furry balls that roam the property. So cute, I wish we could pet them. Such a joy, wonderful peace and quiet during our brief stay. So thoughtful of the hosts to provide drinks and snacks. It made our bike trip around the Gettysburg battlefield so much better! We will definitely be back!!

This was our third time staying at the cottages while travelling around Gettysburg. The accommodations are lovely with the most peaceful setting in the woods! Our favorite part is the turkeys, chickens and rabbits roaming about the place

The cottage is charming. On point for decor in historical area. The thoughtful amenities like chilled glasses, ice ready, big thirsty towels shows the owners think about guest needs. The absolute highlight is feeding the bunnies, welcome committee of chickens and turkeys that come visit guests as informal hosts. Memorable and charming experience.

Our stay was better than advertised, the host go's above and beyond. The amenities are a nice surprise and the animals were amazing , I can't wait to go back again.
