Lovely quaint cottage. Everything anyone needs to have an enjoyable stay. Not for the handicap & it needs more closet space but other than that; it was very clean with excellent parking & a great location.

The Cricket House is sweet, clean, lovely, and calm. It is well maintained and we didn't experience any paranormal activity in the house thank goodness. It's very close to the town square with great restaurants and fun shopping. Gettysburg feels like a pilgrimage and not a true vacation. It was very helpful to come back to a calming place to decompress after emotional trips to the battlefields. We would absolutely stay again. Thank you to the hosts.

The Cricket House was so adorable! It is located in town so walking to restaurants and site seeing is easy, which prevents the hassle of parking. The hosts were helpful by recommending restaurants and things to do in the area. The house was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Definitely make sure you visit Me G’s for ice cream when you visit and don’t worry about the long line it goes fast! We will definitely visit again!

The cricket house was was good for what we needed it for. Brianne responded to all of my request almost immediately. I had to change one date and I asked him to do it without a penalty and I thought he had but when I got the final invoice it up the price of my two days I did stay there it was very convenient and I probably would stay there again and clarify the price before.

Hi Joy, I'm sorry that the rate was increased when you cancelled one night of your stay. This was not done by me. It was done by VRBO, so I think it was unfair to penalize me in your review. Also, I lost the opportunity to find a guest to stay that weekend because you cancelled a night, but despite that I let you do it without penalty (from me). Cheers Brian

The hosts of the Cricket House are exceptionally responsive and professional. This charming house was well stocked with all the basics which allowed us to spend time with family instead of shopping. Their attention to detail made our stay very comfortable in this home away from home.

Was a really cute place. Not suited for tall people on the top floor. Other than that, it was comfortable. Plus the Chinese buffet is right there. The owners were quick to respond when VRBO booking sight had issues and they resolved them promptly. Thank you
