Gorgeous Remodeled Ground Floor Unit w/ New Central Air Conditioning / 1 Bedroom

Aloha! Welcome to our Kamaole Sands condo, a 2 minute walk to Kamaole III Beach.
Our condo, with large lanai, is a private and beautifully remodeled ground floor unit with a peekaboo ocean view from the lanai. Our on-island contact/concierge Darrel Smith will contact you prior to your arrival to help ensure you have a wonderful stay.

This 1 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo has a brand new Central Air Conditioning unit which is rather unique to Kamaole Sands. It is also equipped with a stocked kitchen, a wine fridge, new stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and Koa wood beautiful cabinets. It has two beautiful bathrooms with showers, a Sleep Number king-sized bed in the bedroom and a fold-down couch in the living room with Travertine tile throughout. It has two flat screen TVs, one in the living room and the other in the bedroom, free WiFIi internet access, along with a new front loading Kenmore Elite washer and dryer. We also have accessories for your adventurous beach outings that include 2 Tommy Bahama beach chairs, 2 Tommy Bahama beach umbrellas and 4 beach towels.

Our condo, located in building 9, is sure to meet your vacation needs and make you feel at home. Kamaole Sands is one of the most popular condominium resorts on Maui. It is 15 acres filled with tropical flowers, ponds and fountains. It has one large pool, 2 hot tubs, a kid's pool, 4 tennis courts, a workout room, ping pong, foosball, and 5 BBQ gas grill pavilions.

On Wednesday evenings, Mai Tai parties are held at the pool from 3:00pm - 4:45pm.

One free reserved parking space is included.

Everything you need is within walking distance. It is a prime location for a relaxing vacation!

During Covid, we ask that you limit visitors to our condo to a minimum and follow Maui Country rules for gatherings. Also, no visitors are allowed to use the facilities at Kamaole Sands, only checked-in guests.

Beginning in January 2022, owners who rent out their condo as a vacation rental are asked to collect the registration fee and resort fee from their guests prior to their arrival. In the past, those fees were collected by the front desk upon arrival but they no longer wish to collect them from guests. This fee is now collected ($70) and paid to Kamaole Sands and Castle Resorts by us.

The County of Maui has also imposed a 3% added tax to renters beginning Jan 2022. That tax is included in your payment.

Great condo.

Very good location. 5 min walk for beaches. Many stores close to condo. Local food store, gift shops, coffee, rental for activities. Great location. Everything what we need and even more was found on kitchen. Our flight was late on 6 hours and we text manager and he was come and help us to found our condo. It was very nice because it is was a later time close to the night. Thank you very much!

Condo Review

This updated condo is located close to the ocean, which is a major plus for me. Central air is a true blessing. Very nice and the grounds are just lovely. Great place to stay.

Beautiful spot

We recently stayed at this beautiful condo and it was perfect for our family. We travelled with our two young boys who shared the living room area (fold down couch and a pack and play we brought). The fold down couch worked great for our 5 year old. It worked well to have the bedroom as far away from living room to accommodate naps and earlier bedtimes for the kids. The condo was clean and well stocked. We loved the pool and utilized the pickleball courts a number of times. We enjoyed the walkability to the beach and nearby restaurants. The owners were very responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay again!

Amazing Stay and Wonderful Hosts

We had an absolutely fantastic experience. The home was exactly as described - clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The location was perfect for exploring the area, with easy access to local attractions, restaurants, and shops. Our hosts were exceptional. From the moment we booked, communication was smooth and timely. The space itself was cozy and had all the amenities we needed for a relaxing vacation. We highly recommend staying here. Perfect Place

This property was perfectly situated across the road from a sandy beach. Kamaole Sands resort is beautiful and has a wonderful pool and hot tub area and our unit was roomy and comfortable. A perfect vacation.

Great Vacation

Kamaole Sands is a great property to base your Maui adventure. It has well groomed grounds, a nice pool and is across from the beach. The unit is very clean, tastefully updated and has all the required amenities and more. We’ve stayed in other units in the past and this was by far the best all round. The bed in the living room was not as pictured and was quite firm. The owner was very quick to respond to all of our communication and gave clear concise information and instructions for the unit. The only issue we had that caused us some concern was that we were not aware that construction was ongoing on the property when I booked the unit and only found out due to a post on Reddit. However, in the end, it honestly had no impact on our stay as the building we were staying in wasn’t currently being worked on. Overall, we highly recommend this unit and would love to stay again.

Comfortable Condo

Clean, comfortable condo. This was our third time staying here. Located across the street from Kamaole Beach3. King size bed, comfortable queen size sofa bed (medium firm…no steel bar! ). New central AC ( not a window unit ) very effective cooling. Cool natural stone floors, (also keep things cool) Two bathrooms. Large Whirlpool washer and dryer. Total granite countertops, throughout. All the beach supplies you need….chairs, umbrellas etc. Also…try to compare the cost of this condo to any hotel on Maui…! Can’t wait to come back.

Great Stay

This was our second time staying at this resort as we love the location. This was our first time staying in this unit and we would happily do so again. This was a perfect condo for a couple. The condo has everything we needed. We especially liked the plush towels, cozy sheets and lush bathroom mats. The wine cooler was great at keeping drinks cold. We liked that extra security of having a gated complex. I was worried about insects with being a ground level condo but we had no issues. The condo was very quiet and we slept so well each night. Thank you so much for sharing your place with us. We hope to be able to come again!

Great Location

The location of the unit is within walking distance of parks and beaches. Several small shopping areas also within walking distance. Location on the condominium property wasn’t as quiet as we hoped, condo backs an alleyway. Every morning we opened up the place for fresh air, but peacefulness was drowned out by the noise of motorcycles and noisy cars from the nextdoor apartments heading out to work. Opportunities we noticed and shared with ‘our on-island contact/concierge; master bathroom walk-in shower backup inches deep, spiders and webs next to night stands/bed.

Extra charges levied upon check in that we were not advised of.

We felt uncomfortable with additional charges charged at check in for parking and a pool and hot tub that we were never going to use, we were on Maui for work. It even surprised the local property manager who communicated the owner should pay these fees. I will reach out and hope they reimburse our extra charges that we were not advised during rental.

Beautiful and a quick walk to a great beach.

The check-in process was fairly easy but a little more annoying than going straight to the unit. THe parking was unfortunately a bit of a walk from the unit, and I think it is the main office that assigns this. The finishings and the supplies in the kitchen were very beautiful and nice quality. Everything you need to cook is supplied. The Keurig ended up being so nice even though we thought we would prefer the other coffee pot. The outside seating area is lovely. The AC kept the place very comfortable temperature-wise. There does seem to be a moisture issue though. The smell in the bedroom was so bad (mildew?) that I considered finding somewhere else to stay the last night. Everything in the room felt quite damp- bedding etc it felt clammy. If this were to be fixed this would be a top-notch rental because clearly a lot of work was put into making this a beautiful space.

Beautiful Unit in Great Location with additional sincere comments to owners

Owners should take pride in their unit; well kept near a great park. The condo grounds have all the amenities a traveler could want, though the additional fee is a bit much to take after traveling several thousands of miles. Having stayed in dozens of VRBOs over the years, the owners do not provide certain items and make requests of their guests that reduce the overall quality of the stay. For instance, your request to take off shoes, turn off the air conditioner when not in the unit, and wipe down the showers are reasonable for a property near sand and volcano dust, wanting to save on electricity, and having high humidity. Requesting your guests to run a load of towels before leaving seems excessive especially when a cleaning fee is paid. Most rentals prefer guests to run the dishwasher when leaving to insure all dishware and cutlery are clean for the next guests. In addition, providing bath mats for guests to stand on when leaving their showers should be automatic, as well as providing starter toiletries with a couple bath soaps. Your description that you have some snorkeling equipment is misleading since there are no snorkels in your outside storage box. Also, your back door slider still does not work properly; we got it to close by extending the latch vertically by hand, then inserting the door, then completing the lock. Finally, providing the renters additional information on what items need to be recycled and where to bring the refuse would be helpful. These comments are made because we recognize you have a GEM of a property and we hope that you are concerned that your guests enjoy everything about their visit. With some changes, we can assure you that your guests will always give you 5 stars.

The condo was updated, clean and perfectly located. Kamaole Beach is a two minute walk. The grounds of the condo complex are lush and frequently manicured. Great spot!

Stayed here for our wedding!

Beautiful family friendly property! Perfect spacious condo on the ground floor. Wonderful communication from the hosts and easy check in. We had small children with us and the condo was great! Pool is fun, grounds are beautiful. Highly recommend. We traveled for our weddding and everyone stayed in different condos at this location. It was magical!

Perfect vacation getaway

This was our first time on Maui. The location of this area was excellent. Wonderful gated community. Very clean and so pretty. Excellent on site accommodations. First floor was a favorite of this location. Easy walk to the beach. Will definitely be returning!

Great location; family friendly

This was a great place to stay in Maui with quick access to all amenities needed including groceries, beaches, and restaurants. We really loved the family friendly aspects of Kameole Sands in general and the condo was really easy to stay in. It was clean, there were lots of supplies in the kitchen and bathrooms and plenty of items for the beach. Will be back!

In this price range nothing else comes close!

Mark and Chris's condo is fantastic! Kamaole Sands is a great complex. All employees there were polite, helpful and friendly. The pool is beautiful and well-maintained with lots of trees and shady spots. I made use of the well-equipped indoor gym beside the pool. The barbecues are plentiful and cleaned daily. When you are walking around the complex sometimes you get a glance into other condos and Chris and Mark's is fabulously updated compared to some. The gorgeous tile floors, the beautiful updated kitchen, and the central air are all much appreciated. There are 2 TV's, and a great washer and dryer. The kitchen has all the little details you need with new appliances, an ice-maker, spices, a blender, a drip coffee maker and a fancy new Keurig, which we really enjoyed. The place was spotlessly clean when we arrived. The Sleep Numbers bed was very comfortable. Having two bathrooms was a real plus and both had showers: Hubbie and I each had our own bathroom just like at home! We had our morning coffee each day out on the lovely patio. We didn't notice any road noise. They have you supplied with beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, a wagon, a cooler, a beach bag, and snorkeling equipment. The beach is right across the street. This was our second 3 week stay there and we are already looking at rebooking for next year. The manager, Darrel was very responsive and so were Chris and Mark. Top-notch!
