Great 3BR, 3BA Beachfront condo. Full kitchen, 2 Pools, Elevator, 15 minutes to downtown Charleston. Steps away from the water's edge. Restaurants, quaint shops, and Fishing Pier within walking distance. Each bedroom has private bath. One king bed, one queen bed, 2 twin beds, and a double sleeper sofa. Beautiful master bedroom overlooks ocean and has Jacuzzi, 2 sinks, and separate shower. Bright and airy kitchen and living area overlooking the ocean. Balcony spans accross the ocean side of the unit with entrances from the master bedroom and living area. 52 inch flat screen HDTV, DVD. Air conditioning, dish washer, washer and dryer. Fully stocked kitchen. Beautiful furnishings. Gorgeous sunsets over the Fishing Pier in the afternoon. A great place to kick back and enjoy all that Folly has to offer. Free WiFi and cable tv. Tile and carpeted floors. Stone kitchen counter tops. Table and chairs on balcony for relaxing and beach watching. Beautifully maintained fenced grounds with private gate. Two parking spaces on grounds available. Beautiful pool on each end of complex overlooking the ocean. Private entrance from pool to steps down to beach. Lifeguards on beach during summer months. Enjoy swiming, surfing, jet skis, parasailing, and fishing.

Overall a great location/property- some negatives outside owners control such as beach renourishment going on 24 hours in front of property and some outside work on the complex just down from the unit we were in blocking access to one of the elevators

Tropical Storm Debby Checked In

We were homebound most of the week due to Debby, the tropical storm! The condo was comfortable for the three of us. We watched a lot of Olympics coverage while watching the abnormally large waves and whitecaps out on the ocean. The only drawback was that it was quite a distance from the condo to the beach. I didn’t expect this (I have difficulty walking), so there were days when I didn’t leave the condo. Luckily we had a healthy teenager with us who could carry chairs, run back to the condo if we got to the beach and realized we had left something behind, etc. Overall, it was wonderful spending a week with my best friend and my Godson, whether holed up in a cozy condo or getting fried on the beach!

Great vacation spot!!

This is the second time staying in this unit. Location to the beach, restaurants, and shopping are just a few steps away. Charleston is about a 10-15 minute easy drive. Property is always clean!!

Excellent location, and the rooms were so nice.

My family and I enjoyed our stay tremendously! The rooms were clean, and very well stocked with all amenities. I am physically challenged, and has no issues with the room, very accommodating. It was easy check in and out. The location was so nice. We were close to the restaurants, shops, and entertainment. My favorite part was watching the ocean from the balcony . I highly recommend this condo.

Folly vacation

This was the perfect spot for our family. We have stayed here before and it is always a pleasure. Oceanfront with a pool is as good as it gets. Love the relaxing vibe of Folly and love that is is so walkable.

Edge of America

Wonderful stay! We wish that we could return every year! 25 years ago I worked on the pier at Starfish grille and it was a great return to the beach and see all of the exciting changes!!!! We absolutely loved being on the beach and being able to go into Charleston and enjoy the history of the city in one stop! Thank you so much for sharing your awesome place with us! If we ever return (we love to try new places and states every year) we will stay at Susan’s place! 100%

Family Beach Trip

The property is beautifully maintained and conveniently situated near the pier and places to eat. We enjoyed watching the beach restoration process in front of the condo. By the end of the week we had a newly constructed strand in front of us. We had a wonderful stay.

Beautiful Condo with Great View

Very relaxing visit. Loved that we could walk to all of the food joints and bars. Sitting in the deck and listening to the ocean was the best. Loved that we could eat in sometimes instead of going out for every meal.

Owner Need Not be the VRBO notification arm

I received a message from the owner PROMPTING me to leave the property on time. I think that is inappropriate, offensive and down just rude. I had a plane to catch a 6AM so my plan was to leave at 4AM anyway. I've used VRBO and ABNB frequently, I've never vacated a property late and always follow the rules; and my view is that policing better be left to the third party companies. If she feels she needs to contact the guests to be the middle man reminder vehicle, she may be better off not offering her property on VRBO. The Ice Maker does not Work, The sliding Door to the balcony does not lock, the central elevator to the unit does not work, the stairs to the unit smell like dog urine and the property management is using highly concentrated Clorox to mask the odor, the shower towels are torn. The directions call for a guard at the entrance of the complex, I never saw any one day, night, weekday or weekend; for that matter neither saw anyone around manning any other aspect of the complex. I hope this feedback helps VRBO and the owner to provide a better experience.

Great stay!

We were here as a family over a somewhat chilly spring break. We were still able to enjoy the area in sweatshirts! Very comfortable condo and we enjoyed a dolphin seeking boat ride, explored Charleston l, went on the USS Yorktown, and visited the beautiful Middleton plantation.

1st time at Folly's Beach

This was our first time at Follys Beach. The condo was very clean and comfortable. The views were amazing as were the sun rises. Convenient to everything. Park the car and walk to food, shopping, music and the beach!

Handicap Friendly

The Condo was very nice and clean. The facility was very handicap accessible with plenty of handicap parking spaces and two elevators. Beautiful view of the ocean and close to restuarants.

Great location to town. Place was clean and just like pictures. Outside is old but inside is fine. Just be aware twin beds are short. Great time in Foley Beach with friends and family!

Paradise

We have rented many houses and this by far was the cleanest we’ve ever stayed in! Pictures don’t do it justice! Perfect location so our teens could walk to town and feel like they had freedom but we didn’t have to worry, and a few steps from the beach. One small maintenance issue was remediated within a couple hours. The owners truly care about the property and it shows. Thank you for allowing us to make amazing memories in your home. We will be back!!

Excellent Vacation

It was all we were led to believe. Property was clean and well stocked with supplies. Location was excellent with good access to Charleston downtown area. Would definitely consider a return visit .

I grew up in Charleston and my Grandmother owned a beach house and spent most of my summers at the beach with many cousins. I went off to college and brought my husband back to Charleston with me. We live on James Island and have three children who grew up on James Island with frequent trips to Folly. They all swam, surfed and relaxed on the beach every chance that they could. They are all married now and my Grands are enjoying the wonders of Folly now!!
