We take guest experiences and concerns very seriously; however, the account presented in this review is not an accurate representation of what occurred. At no time did we intentionally “ghost” this guest, laugh at them, or knowingly leave them stranded without concern. We also would never knowingly give away a confirmed reservation simply because we chose to rent the property through another platform. The statements made regarding our communication and conduct are simply not true. It is also important to clarify why the phone conversation ended. During the conversation, the guest became increasingly hostile and made threatening remarks toward the host. At that point, the host made the decision to end the call rather than continue engaging in a conversation that had become threatening and inappropriate. We understand how disappointing and stressful any issue involving vacation accommodations can be, particularly during a busy event weekend. However, we strongly disagree with the characterization of both the circumstances and our interactions described in this review. We have been in the hospitality industry for years and take great pride in the way we care for our guests and properties. Our many positive guest experiences reflect the level of service we strive to provide. While we respect every guest’s right to share their experience, we also believe it is important to correct information that is inaccurate or misleading.
