We came for a family trip and this house was perfect! We had a great week! Beds were comfortable, all amenities worked and the location was perfect! Already planning a trip back in a few months!

The location is amazing. Can’t beat it. The inside needs a little work and there’s no screens on the property so that makes it tough with bugs. Since we were there for 3 weeks we ended up installing some temp ones. We brought our camping gear as we wanted to cook for a group and was missing some essentials for an extended stay. Most of the appliances worked just fine except the oven which shuts off if you open the door to check on cooking. It’s a great place for a couple of day stay and you can make do. Plenty of hot water and the internet worked as long as you were upstairs. I’d suggest bringing some fans for air flow as even though it’s on the beach the wind dies mid way thru the late evening but with all that we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend for a short trip

We are also reviewing our kitchen inventory to ensure it is better equipped for group cooking, and our maintenance team will inspect and fix the oven's door sensor issue immediately. The property is right on the beach, within walking distance to several nice restaurants. The onsite washer/dryer and refrigerator appeared new. That being said, the condo is very, very "tired". Nothing has been updated, no screens on windows, ant traps everywhere. We found personal items (men's underwear/sock) on the upstairs bedroom closet shelf as well as trash (including medication) under the king bed. We called prior to arrival asking about beach items and were told there was an umbrella and two beach chairs of which there was not. The pictured outdoor area is a very public shared space with lounge chairs that were filthy and other dilapidated items (see photos). The grounds themselves were not manicured with sand all over steps to the unit and to the beach, some of which you could not navigate (see photo). The kitchen supplies were limited and random. We had to buy teaspoons and a spatula. While the description stated that the unit slept seven, the common area had a dining table with seating for 5 and a very small old couch that fit three adults sitting upright shoulder to shoulder. There was an armed chair in the downstairs bedroom (you'll see it in the photos online) with a slipcover that was so uncomfortable and a bit gross, our daughter had to sit on the bed to nurse our 7 week old grandson. We love Ventura and have visited so many times and stayed in so many rentals. This one was truly disappointing. A dump to be honest people!

An issue regarding the Wi-Fi was raised with us during your stay, but the remaining concerns regarding cleanliness, supplies, and property condition were not brought to our attention. We do provide beach chairs and an umbrella, and had these missing items or any of your other discomforts been mentioned during your stay, we would have immediately brought the beach gear over and sent our team to assist you. Your detailed notes regarding the unit's amenities, furnishings, and exterior maintenance have been shared with our management team for review and improvement.

A few days after booking I checked my confirmation and noticed the listing photos had been changed. It no longer looked like the property I booked. The owner said it was the same unit with updated photos and since it was still listed as 3bd/2bh we proceeded but it felt misleadingThere were spiders throughout the home. I understand it’s a beach property but this was excessive compared to other places we’ve stayed. The WiFi didn’t work with the original passwords, and even after getting an updated one, the connection was extremely poor which was a problem since I needed to work during the stayThe welcome guide stated there was AC, but there wasn’t. With no screens on the windows and doors (except for bathroom and kitchen sink) we had to choose between being hot or letting in more bugs. Jetted tub in the master sprayed out what appeared to be mold, leaving residue and a strong odor that made it unusable and left foul odor in the roomOther issues included missing TV remotes, dirty dishes, and a dishwasher that initially didn’t work (we fixed it ourselves). When we contacted property management, they said they were new and redirected us elsewhere. Later we returned to find insect spray and traps left at the door. A cleaning crew came and wiped the tub, but the smell remained and still couldn't use the tub. Follow-up calls went to VM but mailbox was full and couldn't leave a message and never got call backOverall a very frustrating experience. We do not recommend this property

Stayed here with my family on vacation and thought it was excellent location for the beach and walk to restaurants. The view is amazing.
