New in our program, this home has many great reviews from past guests.

It's time to have the vacation you've been waiting for at this charming oceanfront home with easy public beach access. Just steps from the sand, you can take in the beauty of North Carolina's Crystal Coast. And there are no worries about bringing sand back up to the house - you can rinse off in the enclosed outdoor shower before heading inside.

When you step into the Sandfiddler Cottage, you step into a simpler time. Enjoy lovely sunsets on the oceanfront deck or do a little soul-searching while resting under the stars on the porch swing. After a day of exploring, head back to the house for a family feast prepared in the well-equipped kitchen - listen to them all chattering around the two dining tables! After that, relax in the living area and watch a little TV or play games with the family.

There's plenty of room for the whole gang here, including a primary bedroom on the ground level and a bonus room. Additional amenities include a full-size washer/dryer in the garage, free WiFi, and a telephone for local calls.

Love Sandfiddler

We always stay here when we visit AB. The oceanfront location is great. We love the deck that sits between the house and the dunes!

Great location

This was my first visit to AB and the location of this place was perfect: easy beach access, great view of the beach 🏖️ and an easy walk to restaurants and Hang Ten 🤙 donut shop (which was good for before and after beach 🏖️ walks).

R&R in a great location

Can't beat the location! The photos really don't do this property justice. Right on the water and quick walking distance to several food and drink destinations. Our whole family had a wonderful time! Thanks for the hospitality

Long weekend get away.

Lovely home with great views of ocean. Beds are soft, but there are plenty of them to choose from. Well stocked kitchen, great decks and very dog friendly. Would rent again.

It was a good location with not a long walk to the beach. The overlook deck was nice especially at night to watch the stars. Was a very quiet neighborhood

Beach House

This house is very spacious and in a great location. Lots of bedrooms to accommodate a large group and a large den and kitchen area for dining. The cleaning service must improve. We were unable to enjoy the deck on the dunes due to safety concerns. Lots of rocking chairs on the back deck to relax, quiet and private. This is a great older house it just needs some TLC. We enjoyed our time and memories were made.

Sand Fiddler

The Sand Fiddler was perfect for our stay. Plenty of beds to go around. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The decks were great and the beach access was outstanding. We will definitely book the Sand Fiddler again.

Comfy Home

This sweet home is comfy and sleeps lots. Owners have done some nice updates. Would like to see updated appliances in kitchen and maybe lamps with USB ports since electrical outlets are sparse.

The house was clean and comfortable. The property had a wonderful location, however, the deck was in major need of repairs and it was even dangerous to step on some parts. The wifi was unreliable and needed to be reset several times. It was wonderful to be able to have our dogs with us, however this property had no grass at all for them which was shocking since it was a pet friendly property.

RIGHT ON THE BEACH

House was good. Location was great, sitting right on the beach. Two decks, with one detached and on top of the dunes for incredible views, but both decks are in desperate need of repair. Boards are loose and sticking up, and dozens of nails heads are sticking up causing trip hazards and cut hazards if you walk on them barefooted.

Great private beach access, and outdoor spaces for oceanside views but not a clean place

We had our family reunion at the Sand Fiddler. I will start with the positives: the private beach access, outdoor shower, and outdoor patio spaces to view the ocean are really lovely. You're close to the Atlantic beach boardwalk which is nice as well. There are plenty of rocking chairs to sit and enjoy with your loved ones. The downsides are: the beds are very old and uncomfortable, and the biggest let down was it just didn't feel and seem cleaned thoroughly. The bathrooms, in particular the showers have a lot of old rust & mold. And the linens have a lot of stains. It feels like the cleaning was just a "gloss over" before we arrived. If you are paying for cleaning, you expect it to be better. So overall, I would not stay again but we appreciated the quaint home for the week.

The house was great but hope you don’t have problems during your stay.

The property itself was beautiful and close to the beach. It was perfect for our family. We did however check in on Saturday and the refrigerator broke down on Tuesday. We contacted Vacasa and 2 different technicians were sent out to try to fix it. We were told it could not be fixed and he would call and we should have a new unit by Wednesday. Wednesday evening we still had not been contacted so I reached out again and was told they would look into it and did not hear from them the rest of the day. Thursday I called and was told they would check on the status. Thursday evening I actually had to go to the office to make another complaint. I was met with a nice phone call that stated we would not get a refrigerator before Saturday but they could reimburse the ice we had to buy and items we lost, they would also send out ice and coolers on Friday morning. Itemized list was sent to the number provided and Friday no ice/coolers were delivered and no contact was made regarding the reimbursement of ice. We were not contacted again. I understand that things do break but the communication and follow up for problems in the rental was the worst I have dealt with.
