Great place in a nice neighborhood in Oakland. Had a great family stay while visiting our son at Berkeley. Loved the unit and the neighborhood. Very convenient to East Bay and to SF (Cali, so there’s traffic on the Bay Bridge ) Very comfortable, nice layout for the family. Easy parking

We needed a place central to where we needed to go that could provide easy off street parking and a comfortable stay. We were there for a short time. We intentionally left some honey for the tea that was a bit hard to find, but eventually found - it was much needed! Hope someone else enjoys it. Communication was excellent. Thank you!

We had a great stay, the place was as described and kitchen has everything we needed. It's a lovely home and we were comfortable and pleased with our stay. The only thing that was a bit underwhelming was that there's only one tv and it's a very small tv in the living room. It was fine though since we were busy at Mosswood Meltdown festival. This place is a great find and would stay again for sure

Relaxing stay in charming home close to Lake Hill. Walkable neighborhood with parking and easy access to major roads. Responsive host who was able to help with last minute questions.

This was the best rental we've ever stayed at. The kitchen was spacious and above-and-beyond equipped for a full day of cooking for a Christmas meal with extended family. Kate was quick to respond to questions and a gracious host, and we're very happy to have found this house for the holiday!

We would have addressed any issues you had right away if they were communicated with us. Additionally, we accommodated your last minute booking request and your extension request on the day of check-out. We loved our stay at this urban sanctuary in Oakland! The house was comfy and just right for our needs. Great communication with hosts, who were very responsive and friendly. Check-in was super smooth and easy, and there were thorough instructions posted inside the house for stay logistics and checkout process.The house itself has many unique architectural flourishes that I loved — stained glass windows on built-in cupboards, Japanese-style paper and wood window shades, lots of windows with natural light filtering in through the beautiful trees outside. The house has that wonderful sturdy, warm, lived-in feeling that only houses from that era have, which I loved.The kitchen and dining room were spacious and well-equipped with all the essentials we needed, which was great for cooking family meals during our stay. The living room had plenty of comfy seating and cozy lighting for us to hang out and spend some quality time relaxing.It was a nice quiet 10-minute walk to the nearby shopping district with restaurants, coffee shops, nail salons and a little supermarket, which had cute neighborhoody vibes.This would be a great option for a longer-term stay as well, as there’s plenty of storage space. I would definitely stay here again!
