Our home sits at the very tip of the peninsula, with the bay, the ocean, and the jetty framing the best views in San Diego. One property from the calm, warm bay and about 100 yards from the ocean: two very different beaches, a two-minute walk apart.

This is a five-bedroom duplex — two floors, two full kitchens, three full bathrooms, and two living rooms, with plenty of room for a large group to gather and still spread out. Gather for dinner, then retreat to your own space.

Custom built throughout: spacious kitchens with custom cabinetry, detailed lighting, an open layout, and large paned windows that make it feel like the beach starts at the sill. The master suite has a large glass shower, a whirlpool tub, and dual vanities. Four smart TVs with Netflix and dependable WiFi throughout.

Then there are the decks. A garden patio with a grill and two picnic areas on the ground floor, a balcony off the master with ocean views, and a large rooftop deck with a fire table, looking out over Mission Bay to the east, the jetty to the south, and Ocean Beach to the west. It's where you'll spend every sunset.

THE SPACE

Included: two full kitchens (cookware, Keurig coffee makers, blender, toaster), four smart TVs with Netflix, dependable WiFi, all linens and towels, two free washers/dryers with detergent, ceiling and standing fans, two parking spaces (garage + a spot by the garden patio), two grills with propane, beach gear (boogie boards, sand toys, chairs, towels), and an outdoor shower to rinse off sand.

GOOD TO KNOW

The upstairs bunk bedroom is accessed through the master, and the two share an ocean-view patio.

We have a portable air conditioning units set up in the living rooms - the coastal breeze keeps things comfortable most of the year. Each room has a ceiling or standing fan. We also provide space heaters.

Quiet neighborhood, quiet hours after 10 PM — off the rooftop and patios. Not a party house.

Two parking spaces. Extra cars use the free lot at Mission Point Park or street parking.

HOUSE RULES

Check-in after 3 PM (coded door, no key exchange). No early check-in / late check-out, but we'll hold bags. Quiet hours after 10 PM, including the rooftop. No parties or events of any kind, no smoking, no pets. Violations forfeit the security deposit.

STAYS & MINIMUMS

Message to confirm availability before booking. 2 nights weekdays, 4 nights weekends, one week Sat–Sat in summer, 5 nights Thanksgiving and winter holidays.
