Family & Pet Friendly - 4 bedroom/2 bath close to beach, and the prom

This spacious 4 bedroom, 2 bath home is located just 1/2 block to the Seaside Promenade and Beach. Central to this home's relaxed atmosphere is the large, open living area complete with a river rock hearth and gas fireplace... the perfect spot to gather with family and friends after a long day at the beach. The adjacent eat-in kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed to prepare family meals. Also found on the first floor is a recreation room with a queen size futon couch / bed. In addition to a foosball table, you will find games, toys and puzzles for kids both young and old.

The second floor sleeping arrangements include two bedrooms both with queen size beds; a third bedroom with a full-size bed and a fourth bedroom with two twin beds. A full bathroom with a tub/shower combo finishes the second floor.

Outside you will enjoy a large wrap around deck outfitted with Propane BBQ and outdoor furniture. *Properties are weatherized in the off season and some outdoor items may not be available*
Cleaning fee is $190 for this property, and the pet fee is: $35 per pet. Pet requires pre-approval from the office prior to booking property. 1 small non-shedding mature dog will be considered with pre-approval.

Good location

Only a few houses off the beach so the location is great. Home is older and could be a lot cleaner. Kitchen isn’t very well equipped for much cooking.

Great Holiday Get Away

Our vacation rental at 242 12th Ave in Seaside, OR, was fantastic! The space was spotless and well-maintained, offering everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Its location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach and close to various shops and restaurants, making it easy to enjoy all the area has to offer. Highly recommend it for a relaxing and convenient getaway!

Family Event

Great place to stay for my family (5 adults + my teenage daughter). Plenty of space downstairs to relax and enjoy the company. Our host, Lisa, was very easy to communicate and went above and beyond what was required.

Amazing place

Beautiful house, great location, the hosts are amazing to work with and very helpful. I had a problem with the washer and called and she came right over to look at it. Clean house. Will definitely rent again when we come back!

Clean older home close to downtown and beach

Very clean older home. Walking distance to downtown and beach. Well maintained. If you plan on cooking for more than 2 need to bring your own serving utensils and serving bowls. Kitchen is very poorly stocked!!! Will stay there again

Large Family Getaway

We absolutely loved the location of this house. We took advantage of the location by walking to the beach and into town on the boardwalk multiple times a day. The home is full of character, which may or may not be appealing to you. It comes with the qwerks of an old home such a creaky floors and very thin walls. The door handles do need to be replaced, as many of the doors don’t shut properly. We had a family of 8 stay in this home. While everyone fit adequately, the set up was challenging for our group. The common area that shows a full sized futon in the photos is actually a pull out sofa. While it wasn’t the most comfortable place for my husband and I to sleep, because it is the only sleeping area downstairs it’s where we ended up. This way the kids could sleep in upstairs since we are the early risers of the family. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and enjoyed the location. The basketball hoop was a big hit as well!

The house was perfect for us, clean with plenty of space. short walk to the beach. I left some beach toys for the next family to enjoy. We will be back .

Family trip to Seaside

The location of this property makes for a nice walk to the beach. The house is stocked well with the necessary items to prepare meals. There is plenty of beds and blankets for a large group and also 3 sofas for plenty of seating. The property is kept up well inside and out. The only item not there was a wire brush to clean the BBQ. Our family had a wonderful stay.

Great Location/Lacking Amenities

Great Location and adequate size for our party of 7. House was clean if a bit dated. Very disappointed with amenities on hand for the price we paid. Kitchen layout was crowded and needs more things for travelers(spatulas, whisks, pizza cutter, mixing bowls, a working mixer). There was a bowl under the sink to catch water from a leak in the garbage disposal. Trash can was broken and small for large parties with just a trash bag for each day. Very cheap toilet paper. Found out the day of arrival that there was no gas grill as seen in pictures but a charcoal grill that was left dirtywith no grill brush to clean it. Also temperamental washing machine. Ceiling fans would-be nice downstairs and up to circulate air especially downstairs with all those beautiful windows in front but only a slider in the kitchen to open.

Fabulous Place!

My family of 7 ranging from 12-53 stayed here. The location is perfect. Walking distance to the beach. You could walk to the shops if you wanted. The house was clean and fun. House is just like the listing. No surprises. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Family vacation

Location was great. It was easy to communicate with the owner of the property. Everything was pretty straightforward. We enjoyed our family vacation. Definitely recommend this property.

Perfect family getaway with out dog and Tutu

We loved our stay here. It was so close to the beach that we walked there several times a day to fly a kite, check out the low tides, play football/baseball and have bonfires. We averaged 20,000 steps a day and didn't even feel like we worked that hard for it! Yes, its located on a one way street and it gets a little busy during the low tides, but it provided excellent people watching for my mobile challenged mother in law. She sat by the window and did a puzzle and felt like she was a part of it all. The house was well equipped with everything we needed and we cooked out every night. Plan to bring your own foil, plastic wrap and lighter for the grill as those things were not provided.

Great location!

The location is outstanding! Half a block from the beach and just far enough away from Broadway that you do not have the crowds. Approximately an easy 10-minute walk to the turnaround on Broadway. Big living area and kitchen that are brightly lit by natural light. The back deck is fabulous! Bedrooms were great, you are not able to shut the bedroom doors and latch it shut. There are no faceplates in the door frames of the bedrooms. Doors do shut just do not stay shut. This was not an issue for our group, but you should be aware of this. Bathrooms, 1 upstairs and 1 downstairs are nicely done. Small backyard with a basketball hoop. There is a game cabinet with multiple board games, cards and puzzles. Was very considerate the check-out time was 11 am. This gave plenty of time to get the towels washed. Which, there are plenty of towels in the bathrooms and kitchen. This property is one of the better one's I have stayed at and will definitely consider it for future stays.

Great location!

We really enjoyed our time here. The location is great! Close to the beach and a short walk down the prom to the heart of Seaside. The house had plenty of room for our large group and is well stocked. (Although new knives are needed) We enjoyed all the windows in the living room for doing puzzles, the kids loved the sand toys and basketball hoop in the back. On sunny days the patio out back is wonderful. The house is older and quirks come with age. The house is very noisy upstairs when you walk, there is no sneaking around in this house and very little privacy as the doors don’t latch. We never could get the temperature right upstairs. We all roasted up there even with the heat turned way down. It was nice to open the windows but could have used a few fans up stairs. There is also a lack of outlets but for an older house it wasn’t surprising. Over all we were very comfortable and really enjoyed our time there!

Cozy charm at the beach

Great Layout for Family Gathering

Our family of 8 adults and one almost 3-yr old shared Thanksgiving in this thoughtfully laid out older home with lots of character. The living room/family room was a great gathering place (with a gas stove for winter warmth) to stay indoors and play board games and share stories in the evening. The kitchen easily seated us all for family meals. We really appreciated the ample storage space there. (We could not find a tea kettle, and the kitchen could use a few more sets of silverware and coffee mugs). It is just a quick walk from the house to the promenade and the beach, and a leisurely stroll to the town. Our granddaughter loved the carousel! We hope to return for future vacations. Thanks!

Rustic Charm

We love the Seaside Boardwalk! When searching for a home for our weekend birthday celebration Surf Manor was our choice this year. An original Seaside home built in the late 1800's and updated accordingly...was cozy and fit our family of 5 perfectly. A few issues where taken care of by property management. We loved the creeky wooden floors, great south east windows, and classic staircase!

Nice place.

The house was clean and pleasant. Living space was large and comfortable. Close to beach. About 15 min walk from city center. My only complaint was it was hot. We went in august and no a/c or fans.
