Lovely beach house

We loved this place! Context: mom and dad with three kiddos ages 8, 5, 1 and grandfather. The house was a perfectly quaint size and really clean and seemed to be renovated recently with newly purchased kitchenware and plenty for cooking home-cooked meals, which we did every night except one. For heading to the beach, there was an awesome beach cart, lots of chairs, toys, and umbrellas as well as a wheeled cooler. With a five minute (or less) walk to the nearest public beach access, you're met with your typical beautiful NC beaches. Upon returning to the house, it's so awesome to shower off the family and sandy bathing suits in the private outdoor shower. The downstairs utility room with washer/dryer and extra toilet was also helpful. Evenings spent grilling out on the simple charcoal grill and eating on the outdoor patio furniture was also a treat and common within our week. Then having dessert sitting on the four rocking chairs on the front porch listening to the waves crashing (with of course, the every once in a while loud trucks or screaming teens in golf carts), our time here was very much worth while and we'd do it again next summer, in this same house!

Ocean Isle Storm Debby

Althought, the weather was terrible for 5 days of the week we stayed, Noelle made sure we were OK and gave us emergency info during the Tropical Storm, even said she would give a refund if we decided to go home because of the weather. The house has everything needed for the ideal beach vacation - location, outdoor shower, mud room to clean up kids after beach, cozy living area and kitchen and plenty of room to sleep and a nice backyard. Would book again for sure!

A Couple's Getaway

This accommodation was exactly what me and my spouse needed for a little getaway. It was perfect for just the two of us, but would also be a perfect place for a two couples or friend's group of four that just wants to beach it. We will absolutely be in touch for future vacations!

Just A Great Little Cottage

It was a splurge for just the two of us, but worth it. Bright, clean, simple check-in, quick responses from the property manager, and a short walk to the nearest public beach access. We cooked most meals and enjoyed the kitchen. The weather was sometimes rainy and windy and we loved it. We were often the only people on the beach. Lovely long weekend.

Perfect beach house

My wife and I have stayed at this property numerous times. We love the easy access to the beach and the convenience of having beach chairs and a wagon so we dont habe to pack our own. The owner is wonderful and quick to respond if there were concerns.

Our first Vacation as a family of 4

We enjoyed every minute of our stay. I am extremely picky when it comes to cleanliness and I felt very comfortable at this house. The short walk to the beach access was perfect having two small children.

We made many memories and our newborn little girl really enjoyed us rocking her on the deck.

The communication was so easy with the owner. The house was so cute and perfect for our family. The view was nice and it wasn’t much of a walk to the ocean access. We had a great stay!

Perfect size and clean

We have rented a lot of VRBO beach houses, and I’ve come to appreciate when hosts get it right. This place was clean, thoughtfully stocked and comfortable, quick walk to the beach access, and adorable. We loved having the outdoor shower and access to the washer/dryer/ beach gear. The home is well maintained and we had no issues. The host is so easy to work with and friendly. Absolutely would recommend this spot and hope to come back!

Beach Cottage

The week was wonderful! The rental cottage was very comfortable. (for a group of eight or just one person!) The cottage was clean and tv’s and appliances were all in good working order. During my stay, there was a need for heat and air…..both worked well. Communication with the owner/s was excellent! Overall, just a great journey and I think the cottage stay may become an annual event!

Paul and Edwina relocated from Massachusetts to Ocean Isle Beach in 2006. Leaving behind harsh winters, the Beach was a welcomed change after many years in the cold. For the first few years in Ocean Isle Beach we enjoyed the beautiful beaches, warm weather and amazing sunrises and sunsets. As a local Realtor, Edwina took the advice she provides to many clients and purchased an investment property on the Island - what is now known as "The Beach House" in 2013. We look forward to sharing our home with you and your family.

After enjoying Ocean Isle Beach for years and spending a year searching for the perfect properly, we came upon 143 East First Street. We wanted to be able to share Ocean Isle Beach with other families and offer a affordable solution for vacations other than a hotel or condo. When we first walked in we knew it was what we would soon call our second home - from the beautiful tongue and groove walls and ceiling to the adorable front porch - this was just like your Grandma's home growing up. With a little TLC, "The Beach House" as it is know lovingly known is the perfect spot to call home while on vacation. Not too big and not too small it's a great place to create memories
