Great family-friendly rental for our family! The host was very kind and responsive, and there was excellent communication before and during our stay. The rooms were all very clean and comfortable, and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for our stay. There was a large enough living/dining area for our family to gather together, plus there was an additional living/kitchen on the lower level if you needed some separate space. The home was nicely decorated, and made for a cozy and memorable stay.

The house was very clean and had many sleeping options. It was also very close to Traverse City, Long lake and beautiful wineries. Our host was very quick when communicating and made sure we had everything we needed. I would recommend to my friends.

The game room was not able to be used much due to no AC and it being unbearably hot. Having a way to take kayaks down to the water would be helpful due to the distance from the house to the water. Otherwise, a decent place to rent.

Hi Jennifer, thank you for staying at our home away from home. I'm glad you thought the home was beautiful per your arrival message. The game room is located above the garage, and while it doesn't have A/C, this is noted in the listing. We also provide fans, though I'm sorry the unusually hot 90° weather made it uncomfortable. The listing also mentions the 2-minute walk to the water, and we have a wagon available that many guests use to transport the kayaks. Had you reached out during your stay, we would have been happy to let you know. We were surprised by your review, as it seemed your experience changed after we were unable to accommodate your very late check-out request due to a same-day guest arrival. Unfortunately, you stayed well past the scheduled check-out time without approval, and our cleaners arrived as planned. Had you communicated with us in advance, we would have done our best to work with you. We truly value guest feedback and are always looking to improve. We only wish these concerns had been shared during your stay so we could have addressed them.

Host is very kind and responsive. House is in a great location for visits to Traverse City, Sleeping Bear, etc. Queen and King beds were super comfy and place was overall pretty good cleanliness wise. Dock allows for swimming access but bottom is mucky and little leeches attached to some feet in our group so would not recommend especially for kids. House should probably be checked/restocked more frequently as there was no lighter or matches for grill which required them or much firewood for fire in the near vicinity. Also one toaster was broken and downstairs oven did not preheat.Host addressed these issues during our visit though!

Perfect for multi family trip, each level is like its own home. They have stocked the house with all the necessities too. It was like a home away from home. Thank you for putting your heart into this for us. Greatly appreciated

The home was very clean with clear and easy to follow instructions. Close access to Traverse City. Nice quiet area. This home had a lot of extras highly recommend.
