Vacation

We had 3 adults 4 children. This is just a beautiful location away from the busy. Really quiet neighborhood only a few neighbors. House was perfect for our needs with plenty of room for 2 families.

Beautiful, cozy, spacious home

My family and I absolutely loved being able to stay at this home during our trip to TC. The house is absolutely beautiful, it has everything you’d ever need, and Dana is so quick and clear in communication. It was so spacious, clean, and the description online was accurate to what it was like in person! We’re excited to stay again one day!

Wonderful Home for a Reunion

Seven of us enjoyed 5 days in beautiful Benzie county. This home provided everything we needed, and privacy for each couple with the bedrooms spread out on each floor. The porch is delightful and the kitchen was well stocked! We would definitely recommend this home to others!

Family Time!

This home was perfect for our family to enjoy time together. Very clean, spacious, organized and Dana thought of every detail. We had 7 adults and there was room for everyone. 3 full baths was great. Nice yard with fire pit and games (we didn’t use this time). A dishwasher would have been nice, but we washed the dishes with hot water to ensure they were clean. It’s located near our favorite Northern Michigan activities: golf, Sleeping Bear Dunes, Art’s Tavern restaurant, local shopping, Traverse City, wineries, Mission Point Lighthouse and the casino! It was a full long weekend stay! Next time we’ll take in the beaches! Thank you Dana for the personal welcome sign and for hosting our family time together!!

Excellent Property

Great property for anyone planning on exploring the TC area. Very clean, well stocked with necessities. Large outdoor area with a grill, fire pit, a box of yard games and a tether ball. The property is located in a wooded area so there is no shortage of kindling for nightly fires. The game room inside had a PAC Man video game, board games and a selection of books for all ages.

Clean + Attention to Details

The house is very clean and well kept, which was very much appreciated. We loved all the labels around the house helping guests know where things are (especially in the kitchen). The property is nicely nestled in the woods away from the road, so we did not hear any neighbors and it was great to enjoy a campfire outdoors. We would love to return in the future!

Loved this house!

Loved staying in this beautiful home! It was so clean and also gave us lots of space for our family of 4. We had extra space since it was just the 4 of us. This house could easily accommodate two families with kids since the two upstairs bedrooms each have multiple beds. Everything in the house was labeled making everything easy to use and to find. Check in and out was very simple and the host was very good about responding to our questions when we were planning our trip. This house was about 20 minutes or so from Traverse City and also about the same distance to Glen Arbor. So a tiny bit of driving back and forth but the house also was in a quiet private setting which we enjoyed. We would most definitely rent this house again if we come back to the area!

Beautiful peaceful getaway

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is very clean and well stocked. We had three couples and did not feel crowded. It is secluded in the woods for privacy, but not far from many activities. We visited TC, wineries & breweries on both peninsulas, Mackinac Island, Sleeping Bear Dunes. The manager was very easy to work with and Check in was simple. We would definitely stay here again.

Private getaway

It was so nice to stay in a secluded woodsy retreat, yet be so close to everything we wanted to do! It was clean, roomy (lots of beds) and had every little detail you wouldn’t even think of like matches (we used for the fire pit), games, cooking dishes, lots of linens and laundry soap. We were able to just enjoy our vacation since everything had been taken care of!

It was very clean & well stocked. Dana was very responsive & replied very quickly. Only issue we had was very low water pressure in the shower & girls having a hard time washing the shampoo out of their hair, so maybe changing shower heads might help with that. Even with this small issue we still rated this as a 5 star because it really was a beautiful place & host had everything well organized. We had a fun time. Dana was also very understanding & easy to deal with.

Beautiful cottage meticulously maintained

Dana was a wonderful hostess - every detail was carefully thought out and clear labels on everything made it easy to settle right in. The house is in a beautiful private setting with a great backyard area for games and a fire pit. Very relaxing stay and a great location to explore the area. Would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful home in the perfect location

Great house located in a quiet, private location. It was an easy drive to Traverse City, Leland, Sutton’s Bay, and wine country. The house was exceptionally clean and very organized. It was a great fit for our group of 8 friends. Would definitely book here again.

Weekend reunion

We were all very impressed with this property. Property is only few years old. Very clean. Every detail was designed into this property. We loved sitting on the front porch. We are already discussing returning next year for a longer stay. The only negative was the 10:00am check out as it was a little rushed.

Great house for families…

As a advertised, this is a wonderful brand new home that has ton of space and is great for families. House was very clean and had everything needed in the kitchen, bathrooms and even loads of games. Communication with the owner was great and I would highly recommend this property for anyone looking to stay in the area.

Lovely home in the woods!

Beautiful, quiet home away from home midway between Glen Arbor and Traverse City. Plenty of room for our group of six adults and three children. The kids really loved playing PacMan in the basement and playing in the large yard. We enjoyed the fire pit, patio and screened in side porch. Dana does a great job anticipating what you might need while on your stay.

Perfect Northern Getaway!

This home was perfect for our family! Our adult son had his own area in the lower level. Our daughter and son-in-law were upstairs and we were on the main level. We loved that each group had their own bathroom, and there was plenty of privacy. We spent a lot of time on the covered porch and we even had a few outdoor fires too! The layout of this home was everything a family could ask for. This home is very new and extremely clean and well-maintained. Bonus features were the game room, PAC-Man game, movies, books, and puzzles. There is no question that I would recommend this home to anyone looking for that perfect place, “Up North”. We visited all our favorite spots: Esch Beach, Empire, Traverse City, Lake Ann Brewery, Mari Winery, Ironfish Distillery, Traverse City Whiskey Comp., U & I Tap, The Commons, Sutton’s Bay, Omena Bay (Knot Just A Bar). We loved every minute of our trip! Thanks to Dana, a wonderful host😎

Fantastic Accommodation & Location

We all loved our stay here. The beautiful house sits in a great location and offers peace and tranquility. Dana is incredibly well prepared for guests to enjoy the inside with lots of comfy furniture, games and plenty of space to spread out if you’d like. The outside is beautifully landscaped with tons of outdoor games, a gas grill and a fire pit. We enjoyed it all!!

Can’t be beat.

The house was AMAZING! The location allowed us to get to all major attractions in the area quickly and easily. We had plenty of room to hang out as a large group or spread out and enjoy some quiet time. Everything was clean, labeled, and exactly as described. I would absolutely recommend this house.
