The cottage was absolutely adorable and clean, with lots of caring and personal touches from the hosts. We ran into one of the owners, Whitney, outside as she was heading into the Surfin’ Spoon and she was incredibly sweet. Thank you and we look forward to coming again next year!

The Spoon Cottage is now a favorite stay for my family! From the moment we arrived, we could tell how much care and attention went into making it feel so warm and welcoming. It was extremely clean and very well stocked with everything for our stay. Whitney and Jesse have certainly blessed us with their hospitality! The location was perfect as well. A short walk to the beach, and right beside the best soft serve in town - Surfin’ Spoon is a must! We cannot thank these amazing hosts enough :)

Prefect Family Spot

Our family has been staying at this property for Spring Break the past few years. Such a great getaway with a gracious host, you won’t be disappointed by choosing this home for your vacation!!!

Beach Cottage

We enjoyed our stay at Cindy’s Nags Head cottage. It was a great location with everything we needed for a family of 5! We will be back!

Amazing Week at the Beach

We had a wonderful stay at The Mermaid's Pillow. It was our first real vacation as a family of 3. Close beach access and the pool allowed for us to relax with our 7 month old in tow. We would highly recommend a stay at The Mermaid’s Pillow!

Amazing stay!! Girls 30th Getaway Trip

We had such an amazing time at The Mermaids Pillow!! The pool was just right, house was super clean and beautifully decorated. And super close to the beach and public access!! We will definitely be coming back!!

Great Getaway

Mermaid's Pillow was the perfect beach getaway! This VRBO exceeded all expectations. The location was fantastic, the home was beautifully decorated and immaculately clean, and the amenities were top-notch. We loved every minute of our stay and can't wait to return. Highly recommend!

Love the cottage

Wonderful weather. The cottage is perfect for a small group. Pool very enjoyable. The cottage is always in perfect condition. This was our second stay!
