Great stay in St. John’s!

We stayed for 6 weeks at Victor’s property. We had a wonderful time, the house is well appointed and conveniently situated. It had everything we needed for a longer stay, and anytime we needed anything the owners were quick to respond. We are looking forward to staying here again. Thanks again for a wonderful stay at our home away from home!

St.john's experience

We had a great stay in St.John's. The house was comfortable and greatly located in the downtown. It was easy to get around the town and leaving for a short trips outside. Highly recommend.

Great location!

Overall very good. Roomy house and all amenities available. There were a couple of issues that came up during our stay which I alerted the owners about to address for future renters. Owners were very responsive to any and all questions that came up during our visit.

Good location,clean, easy to find, wifi

Simple, but pleasant accommodation , tv only had one channel, wifi signal a bit week, kitchen was well stock with appliances and dishes

Comfortable older home, perfect for us!

Lots of space for 4 adults, older home , simple but comfortable, 15-20 minute walk from downtown restaurants, waterfront and pubs. The owner was quick to respond to questions and we were able to get an extra night. Would stay there again if we find ourselves back in St. John’s!

St Johns getaway

Location was perfect. Was clean and Victor had some fans set up for us form the heat wave. We will book again next time we come back east

Great stay!

We had a great stay in St. John’s and this home was the centre of it all! Location is great, close proximity to every excursion we did and places we visited during the week. The owner was very communicative and quick to respond and help if we needed him. It was quite warm when we visited and he made sure to provide us with an extra fan to make our stay comfortable. The home has the basic necessities we needed to get settled in and was spacious for all of us. The beds were super comfortable and the living room was cozy to get together to relax after a long day. Highly recommend this Vrbo!

Handy location

We only stayed briefly for one night but it was roomy and had everything we needed. The only thing missing was a wonderful NFLD view!

St.John's 3 night stay

Very nice. Small issue with not having the windows full closed at night and hearing the street noise from passing people. Another oddity with the parking positions, which wasnt an issue, but not something we were used to. Still, it all workedend.anissues .

Authentic St Johns Stay!

If you want an ideal location for a stay whether it be short or long, that is clean, has thoughtful amenities and a superb host then this is it ! The property is in a classic St John style town home. Well maintained and QUIET! Victor has been an excellent host and seems to take pride in both the property, guest experience and ensuring the unit has what you need for your stay. We would stay again in a heart beat and was hard to say goodbye to Newfoundland!

Good value St John's a winner of a vacation

Located close enough to down town to walk for a reasonably in shape person. You have easy access to the bus system. Close to a high end market and mom and pop variety store to purchase necessities if cooking for your self. Upstairs a little warm for hot days. All minimalist necessities taken care of, clean. Front door does not lock if you are away, you have the option of locking it and climbing out the kitchen window if you wish. The town felt safe and we didn't worry.

It was okay

The house was very old, which was fine. The main bedroom didn’t have a window that opened. It was very stuffy, warm. Hooked up a fan and helped somewhat. Old musty smell throughout house. Bathroom could use a curtain for privacy.

As Advertised and More

99% positive - would stay again. The property is located in a working class neighborhood in West side of downtown which means you are not in the hustle and bustle of George Street and such unless you choose to be. Manager Victor and his family were both helpful and unobtrusive - there if you needed something but not there to hover (a nice change from one other place we have been to). The property has one bathroom which was an issue with two teens but the kitchen was complete - we made two full fish dinners while there. Everything is provided except food. It's an older house, so expect some sticking windows and some sloping floors, but these were minor issues if at all. And - say hi to Winston, the occasional visitor cat out back - he's friendly.
