The Village Nook is a comfortable ground level, garden apartment, with a private entrance. It's perfect for one or two people on an Adirondack get-away or business trip. Your hosts have thoughtfully set up the apartment so guests feel at home. You'll find the convenience of a fully equipped kitchen, a washer and dryer for longer stays, and a desk for your laptop.

Stroll down Broadway or the Adirondack Rail Trail behind the home to enjoy the village of Saranac Lake's cafes, shops, galleries, and events.

Staying at The Village Nook you have the unique opportunity for an especially relaxing respite. Your host Mary, a Yoga Therapist, offers yoga therapy, private yoga or beginner Tai Chi sessions, Reiki and sound healing meditation by appointment. You'll find a guidebook with the hosts recommendations for dining and outings as well as brochures and maps for area attractions, trails, and waterways.

Nice place

Great place to stay . Close to shopping , restaurants, downtown. Lake Placid is only 9 miles away , Whiteface Mt probably 20 very beautiful miles away.

Clean and cozy

We went to Saranac Lake for the weekend. Mary's place was a perfect fit. It was walkable to restaurants. Mary had a nice guide of places to check out. It was super clean. We will be back!

Perfect Adirondacks stay

We had a great time staying at the nook. Kevin and Mary were gracious hosts, had plenty of information about things to do nearby, and checked in with us occasionally without being overbearing. The apartment is nicely furnished and equipped with everything you need. It was cozy and comfortable. Not sure we'll ever get to this part of the US again, but if so I would gladly stay here a second time.

IMMACULATE, LARGE APARTMENT

Mary and Kevin were wonderful hosts who were there when I needed help with the TV, while providing me a peaceful, quiet place to relax. The apartment was spacious and meticulously kept. I was looking for a place near the heart of town and not in the woods. This apartment was ideal!

great village location

Very Informative and pleasant owner, who lives upstairs about this unit. Very clean, unique and interesting. Location is excellent on west side of the Village making it easier to get around!

Great space and location in Saranac

Everything was great for our weeklong hiking and paddling vacation. The location is central for beautiful hikes for all abilities and fantastic lakes, ponds and rivers. The town is walking distance to get to great places for breakfast, dinners and pub food. The house is very clean and well equipped, with much more than we ever use. Mary and Kevin are great hosts and are very helpful, even with ideas for hiking and paddling trips. Great time in the Adirondacks and a great place to stay for the week.

What a cozy, lovely place to stay!

The Nook is a real gem in Saranac Lake! My wife & I could have just stayed inside the entire time, it's that cozy! Mary & Kevin are the most friendly, hospitable hosts, ready to answer any questions, give recommendations of things to do, places to eat. We were more than thrilled to stay there, and we will be back!!

Great place in Saranac Lake

The Nook is as advertised. It's very clean, comfortable and a great location to walk to dinner and breakfast. It's also central for hiking or paddling. Very comfortable and Mary is great to work with.

My understanding is that Mary and Kevin are renovating and will only have 1 unit going forward, so I can't usefully comment on that. But given their attentiveness, graciousness and conviviality, I'm sure it will be just fine! :-)

Million Dollar Views!

My wife and I loved the condo! Our favorite parts were the views and watching the sun melt into the gulf every night! It was everything that was advertised in the listing and more. The condo is a nice size, quiet, very nice furniture and an awesome king size bed in the master. We also liked that you could walk to restaurants nearby. The Marriott Resort had several nice options, and the Bimini Bait Shack was a great place to grab a beer and a burger. Easy access by car to Sanibel, Captiva, Ft. Myers and Cape Coral.

Overnight in the Adirondacks

We enjoyed our stay and Mary was great to work with since we booked with short notice. We loved the soaking tub after a night of Wild Lights in Tupper Lake.

Nice Getaway!

The getaway was very clean and the host was very helpful. Lake Saranac has lots of great places to eat and drink and is very close to Lake Placid. The Olympic Skyride was fun and there was great shopping in downtown Lake Placid. We hit up some antique shops and breweries as well. The location was perfect for a weekend getaway.

It's central location in the tri-lakes region makes it a great hub with easy driving distances for 'much to do and see' in the woods, on the water, or strolls through the town and village.
