Fully remodeled 4BR 3BTH home with large open kitchen and living space. Completely furnished with all amenities available to enjoy a relaxing stay. This is our vacation home as well. Large shaded back yard with fire pit. Walking distance to Ferry Beach. Large driveway to accommodate all sizes of boats with easy access to boat launch. Walking distance to downtown, grocery store, etc.

First floor master suite with 3 more bedrooms on second floor.

Great!

This is our second time staying here and it was as great as the first time! The house is perfect for family, clean, and a great location for all the fun things to do in Charlevoix. Definitely looking forward to future stays here!

Well set up for a family

Clean and delightfully set for a family with kids ranging in age from 17 to 1 month old. Comfortable rooms and a well set kitchen. "No pets" is a perk for this family with allergies.

Holiday Ski Weekend

We enjoyed our stay at this property. It accommodated our two families with 5 kids, and provided a great Charlevoix location, and a well stocked kitchen of miscellaneous essentials!

Great Hosts!

We had a wonderful stay while in Charlevoix for my sons wedding. Location was perfect and the size of the home fit our needs. Hosts were very responsive and made us feel welcomed.

Perfect Place/Location

The location was perfect for our family. Just a short walk to the beach and to town. The owners thought of everything, all kitchen and bath essentials were provided and the home was very comfortable.

Great Charlevoix Rental

Our family had a great time staying here. We had 5 adults and three kids (all under 5 years) there was plenty of room for all and the kids enjoyed the back yard and the nice long driveway with their scooters. Great location it was walk-able to town and the lake as well as nearby restaurants.

Girls Vacation

It was great we had lots of room. The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes and utensils, so that we could cook meals. Everything was clean. We were also close to town which is what we look for. We did go to some restaurants and enjoyed the shopping.

Relaxing and close to town!

This is the second year that we’ve stayed at the house on May street, once again we loved it! There was all the space that we needed for our family of 8. The open family room and kitchen was a great spot to gather and hang out. The yard is huge and well taken care of and it was fun to see deer in the backyard! The location is perfect, quiet yet close to town.

Charming and comfortable

We liked the location, nice quiet neighborhood. Also enjoyed sitting out in the patio. The kitchen is so well stocked with everything needed for cooking and food storage.

Family vacation summer 2023

Had a wonderful week. The home was well furnished and the arrival procedure worked well. The location being a short distance from a park on Lake Charlevoix was also a benefit.

Perfect Fit for Large Family

Having 8 adults and 4 kids under 5 isn't always easy when looking for vacation accommodations. We had a wedding to attend at The Castles and the location couldn't have been more perfect. The house had the perfect amount of bedrooms and bathrooms. The living space was nice and open. Outside patio was a hit! We enjoyed a cookout on Memorial Day and everyone had the best time.

Charlevoix - a slice of heaven

The home was perfect for our wedding week. The house was very clean. It wasn’t on the water but extremely close to a great beach and downtown. The open floor plan and big kitchen island was perfect for the bridal party to get prepped for the wedding. The girls hung out while the guys were at the mushroom house hanging out. Our hosts were amazing and very responsive to the few questions we had. What a first trip to Charlevoix!

Great house in a great location

My family and I had a wonderful stay in Charlevoix. The house was in a perfect location to do all sorts of things in and around Charlevoix. The house was set up perfectly for a multi-family vacation. My 87 year old parents stayed in the first floor master suite and the rest of us in the bedrooms upstairs. The kitchen had everything we needed for family dinners. There were puzzles and games for game nights. The teens walked downtown to get coffee, tea, and ice cream often. We drove down to Lake Michigan to see the sunsets. Charlevoix is the best up north city to visit. We were so happy to have found this house to enjoy the beautiful up north Michigan.

Absolutely Fantastic Hosts, Home, and Location

1. The hosts were absolutely amazing and always responded immediately to any messages or questions we sent their way. 2. The home was better than advertised! We had ten folks in our party and we had plenty of beds and space to smoothly operate. The was fully furnished, clean, and ready for upon arrival. We could not have asked for better. 3. The location was absolutely perfect for us, because it was dead smack in the middle of Traverse City (for the Cherry Festival) and Mackinaw. Plus Charlevoix itself is a great little quaint town that we took full advantage of. We would recommend this home to anyone traveling to upper MI that wanted a central place with access to a lot of the key Upper MI locations. Seriously- the hosts, home, and location would be tough to beat!!!

Perfect first stay in Charlevoix!

We loved our first visit to Charlevoix, mostly thanks to the DeWildt's beautiful and cozy rental. Their home was perfectly situated between Lake Charlevoix with its walkable beach and food trucks and Beer Garden and a mile walk or drive to Lake Michigan beach and downtown Charlevoix with shops and restaurants and gorgeous water and boat views. We did not have the best summer weather our week, but still spent time at the beaches and had many daytime and nighttime fires in the big backyard. The supplied firewood was priceless. We enjoyed grill-outs and family puzzles and many family meals in the well-stocked and roomy kitchen. Our kids loved being able to walk daily to Rite Aid, Family Fare and even McDonald's! No complaints-everything was wonderful. We would definitely recommend the DeWildt's Lake home to anyone with a big group who wants room to sleep comfortably yet have plenty of room to have fun together when wanted.

Our stay was absolutely perfect! The location of this home is close to so many fun things to do in Charlevoix (beaches, shopping, etc.). It's also just a quick drive to Petoskey, if youre interested in venturing out of town. The home was very clean, well taken care of, and very family friendly!!

Relaxing, great location, beautiful property

Our family of 11 really enjoyed our stay! The location was perfect, close to town, beaches and a walkable neighborhood. The house was immaculate when we arrived and it had everything we needed. The backyard was huge and very inviting. The open concept kitchen and living room was nice for our family. We truly enjoyed “Charlevoix the beautiful”!!

Tommy and Amanda live in Hudsonville MI with their children Haley (20) and Jack (16). Tommy spent every summer growing up in Charlevoix at his family's home right around the corner. We have owned this home since 2009. After remodeling every inch of our house we found ourselves chasing our kids around the ball fields in summer time instead of enjoying our home. A few years ago a friend introduced us to VRBO. This is our 6th summer sharing our home with guests. We have been having a good time sharing our little slice of heaven with people from all over the country. We hope you enjoy Charlevoix as much as we do.
