Blue Hen Bungalow is a charming, private vacation rental cottage located in vibrant Downtown Gulfport, Florida. Featuring a lovely fenced backyard, patio, and private pool, it’s the perfect spot for unwinding! Just a short distance from St. Pete Beach!

Property Highlights:
• Located in Downtown Gulfport on a quiet street across from the library
• Stroll down famous Beach Blvd. where you'll enjoy local art and food! Walk to the restaurants, shops, bars, and live music that make Gulfport famous!
• Only a short walk to Gulfport beach, fishing pier and docks, beach volleyball, playground, skate park, basketball courts and bocce court, tennis/pickleball courts, and dog parks.
• Cultural Facilities in Gulfport include the Casino, Scout Hall, and the 49th Street Neighborhood Center. These facilities offer cultural events, seminars, weddings, party spaces and more!
• Visit the white sandy beaches of St. Pete Beach and Pass-a-Grille, just a short drive away

This property was perfect for us!! Convenient location to so many of the local sights and activities we wanted to visit and enjoy!! The screened in pool and covered patio and the outer patio area with table and chairs and the gas grill was always a welcomed place when we returned from our local travels!! We were able to take in a couple of Tampa Bay Rays baseball games, see sunsets and sunrises and enjoy local beaches and restaurants. All of the descriptions we saw of the listing before we booked did not do it justice- again I have to say it was perfect for us!!

We loved the Blue Hen Bungalow! The location is perfect with much to walk to in Gulfport. The pool and deck area are so private and relaxing. We spent tons of time in the pool. The entire house is well equipped. So nice to have two bathrooms including one just off the pool area. The sectional is so comfy, and the AC works great! Also lovely having laundry. I must come back next year!!!

This house is just lovely, old feel Florida. Although we were only a party of 2, there is plenty of room for a family. Everything was clean; the kitchen had all the utensils etc you need for cooking; beach towels, toys and chairs were provided. The pool is wonderful as it the firepit! The location is fabulous - an easy walk to town for the restaurants and stores, as well as to the beach.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to come back!

Loved it just wish the pool was heated and the smell of sulfur was overwhelming at times

Thank you for your feedback. I’m glad you enjoyed your stay. Regarding the smell, as I mentioned during your visit, it was not sulfur - it was reclaimed water from the neighbors sprinkler system. Also, the pool is not advertised as heated, so it is not included as an amenity.

Beautiful older, renovated home. Very comfortable and located in an established neighborhood.

We enjoyed the convenient location. We were within walking distance to the beach and many restaurants.

Great location

This bungalow is so cute and comfortable. The back yard space with the pool and fire pit was awesome. It's clean and well maintained. It's in a great location. Walking distance to downtown. We had a great stay. Would definitely stay here again.

The property was just as described, and we would highly recommend it.We enjoyed BlueHen Bungalow in Gulfport alot! Gulfport is a cute little town & walking distance from the location of the house with some restaurants, coffee shops and more.Beds were very comfortable bed and loved the new couch and the pool was perfect even though it rained quite a bit during our stay but still enjoyed it tremendously! gGood communication from the host as well. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

A sweet cottage in a great location

The house was spacious, well appointed with lots of sitting and living space. We loved that it was a very short walk to the town and an easy drive to St Pete and the beach. We couldn't ask for more

Wonderful Home

This home was perfect for our family. We loved having slow mornings and enjoying the pool and spending our evenings at the beach in St. Pete. The short walk to Gulfport to enjoy food, ice cream, or spending time was on pier was a bonus. We hope to return for our next beach vacation!

This was everything I wanted in a vacation!

The rental was perfect. The location was just a few blocks from wonderful restaurants and the beach. It was great to relax in the pool at night. Weather was perfect with a wonderful breeze.. Gulfport has a warm and friendly atmosphere.

Blue Hen Bungalow

Beautiful place to stay! We loved that we could walk to all the bars/restaurants/ coffee shops in Gulf Port. House was clean … pool was perfect. We usually try to stay in different places each vacation but it’s hard to not come back here next year ! Will definitely stay here again in the near future!

Great getaway!

It was a great, relaxing girls' trip. We really enjoyed floating in the pool and just hanging out. We tried many of the bars and restaurants in Gulfport and nearby St Pete Beach and all of them were great. The house was very clean and centrally located. Would definitely go back again.

Two weeks in paradise!!

Loved (almost) everything about our star at the Blue Hen bungalow. The location couldn’t be beat close to everything.. restaurants, music and the beach! Place was roomy, immaculate, fully stocked kitchen, lovely back yard to relax in. Only wish I knew the pool wasn’t heated.
