This is a charming year-round cottage/cabin on a peninsula (3 sides of water) on a private spring-fed lake in Murphy NC. Swim. Fish. Boat. Relax. Renew your relationships with lovers, friends, and family. Sleeps 4 comfortably.
Wood burning fireplace in a cozy great room. Fully equipped kitchen. Lovely deck overlooking the lake. See the stars clear and bright at night.
In the Smokey Mountains, this property is unique...lakefront easy access, dock, and mountain view. The cabin is located only 2 hours from metro Atlanta, just over the Georgia/ North Carolina state line. Also close to Chattanooga, Asheville, and Knoxville. Wifi and Dish provided. Dishwasher. Washer/Dryer. Pet friendly. Canoe provided.

Amazing Location

Great place to stay, not too far from food or town. Very quiet and peaceful place to get some much needed R&R. Sunrise and sunsets are simply amazing looking out over the water. Great catch and release fishing. Can’t wait to go back for another visit.

Excellent Location

The weather may not have been the best but everything about the place was perfect for us for the weekend. We brought our two dogs and they loved everything about it, especially the large yard and water. It's location could not have been better

Great Getaway

Very comfortable, enjoyed sightseeing to 2 wineries, Historical Museum, antique stores, biblical park, rail car ride & rafting the Ocoee. Well stocked kitchen, appliances all worked, very peaceful around the fire pit, eating on the porch, reading on the dock, taking the canoe & boat out on the lake. Would definitely stay here again. Phyllis & Pete are great hosts.

Birthday getaway

Great place to go with family. Really cute Lake! Property managers were great, communicated, and responded quickly. Decorated cute. Quiet and secluded. Closed to town. We played tourist for a weekend. Hope to come back!

Lovely Cabin on the Lake

The cabin was exactly as described – Peaceful, beautiful, and clean. Since we were staying in April, we were not able to enjoy swimming in the lake, but the water looked very clear. I would definitely stay here again, maybe when it is warmer, and we can enjoy swimming in the lake.

beautiful location and well furnished

Great location for our family and we especially enjoyed the privacy of the peninsular lot. Our "city" dog had as much fun as we did, eyeing ducks and geese and sniffing every square inch of the property.

Beautiful an calm

We enjoyed our stay very much. It was so peaceful and relaxing, just what we needed. Really nice sitting and BBQ on the deck. Communication with owners was great. I loved floating on the lake, I was a little weary at first to go down the dock ladder because it was a little slippery but I bought water shoes and then it was just fine. No problem for younger people but I’m a senior. Ate at Chop House, so delicious.

Lakeside cottage

The cottage was lovely. Many homey touches that made the place very charming. We loved the location on a small lake and had fun paddling around the neighborhood.
