This rental is part of our beautiful home and a short walk to Garden of the Gods trailheads. It has a large bedroom with vaulted ceiling with 2 skylights, ceiling fan and spacious master bath. There is a loft area with a converta sofa. The bedroom has a nice roll top desk, set up for your laptop with a wireless keyboard and mouse.. Downstairs there is a spacious living room with a large HDTV. Hi speed wireless internet. There is a kitchenette with a mini fridge, counter top freezer, microwave, and convection counter top oven. Counter top hotplate for cooking. From the kitchenette you walk out to a semi-private patio shared with the owners, with a hot tub to enjoy. Around back there is a lovely back yard that is completely fenced in, and has a nice fire pit, and big concrete patio in addition to planted beds surrounding the grass and next to the patio..
Please note that the soaking tub in the bathroom has very low water pressure. Takes awhile to fill. The hot tub in the courtyard is great for soaking. We love dogs but please disclose if you plan on bringing your pet! Friendly dogs only, please. We also have a small dog with access to the backyard. We limit to one dog under 50 lbs unless approved with owner. We do not allow cats or any other animals. ( Permit # A-STRP-24-0631)

So close to the red rocks! We walked there for hiking. Nice hot tub and private back yard space to enjoy the cool morning. Great stay!

I'm sorry if you were uncomfortable during your stay. The converta sofa makes a full size bed when folded down. We have had many guest use it without complaints.

Accommodations were great. Hosts are efficient and available if needed. The house is spacious and very well maintained. Property is in a great location and neighborhood with easy access to trailhead with access to Garden of the Gods state park. Historic Manitou Springs is slightly north with great dining, wine bars and old town Colorado charm. Second time staying here in past year. When back in Colorado Springs, we will stay here again.

This was the perfect place to stay for our 5 day trip to Manitou Springs and the surrounding area. Location was perfect ... walking distance to Garden of the Gods, and close to downtown and all amenities we needed. The house was clean and super comfortable and Debbie and Luke were gracious hosts! Lots of wildlife and we were even greeted by 2 deer in the driveway when we came back from dinner one night. Great place!

Best honeymoon ever! The hot tub was perfect and our little chihuahua had a great back yard to chase squirrels. The Sunlight in the room was amazing, but if you like to sleep in bring a sleeping mask lol The kitchenette had everything we needed. Thanks yall!

Amazing little spot for a nice get away. The area is beautiful. The place is quite a hidden jewel. Quiet and away . The owners are very nice people and beautiful musicians. I will be going back. Thanks again.

What a lovely, well equipped, clean, very pet friendly home. We enjoyed the easy access to Garden of the Gods and seeing a variety of wildlife. This was a perfect spot for our vacation. Hosts Luke and Debbie are very communicative and helpful.

It was a very clean, cute place. The main problem was the AC didn’t reach upstairs very well. We had the windows and blinds closed as instructed, but that didn’t help much. Be aware of this in the summer. We visited in May. It would have been much more comfortable with an AC unit upstairs as it said on the listing.

We are sorry it got too warm for you. We were on a road trip during your stay and could have alleviated the problem had we been there. When we left, the forecast was for snow and overnight freezes. Usually in May, the AC is seldom needed. We have a portable AC we put upstairs for the summer that keeps the space nice and cool. May need to set it up earlier in the year now because of climate change.

We have always enjoyed awesome mountain setting nestled right up against the foothills at the base of Pikes Peak, the deep blue skies and the numerous sunny days we have here. We love hiking and the opportunities are endless here. Skiing 2 hours away. What's not to like!?

We moved here after many years of living in the mountains at 8500 ft. We were very choosy about the location of where we would live in the Springs. This home was the perfect location for us. So close to many trails and parks which we love to access. There are lots of fun festivals in Manitou Springs and Old Colorado City besides good restaurants and shops. When we need a mountain fix, we can access them easily from here. This neighborhood has old growth trees, and no two houses are the same. This is not a track home! But it is a very scenic special neighborhood.

We love the fact that we can walk up the street and be in Garden of the Gods for awesome hikes and views that we never get tired of. Down the street Amada Fonda has a really nice outdoor creekside dining area for drinks and Mexican food. Or visit the shops, penny arcade, and restaurants and bars in funky Manitou Springs. Drive to the top of 14,000 Pikes Peak in the summer. Or take the Cog Railway to the top. The 5 Star Broadmoor Hotel is 20 minutes away. Besides the great hiking in Garden of the Gods, there is Red Rocks only minutes away. Colorado Springs offers nightlife on Tejon Street, 5 miles away. Or just go 2 miles to Colorado Mountain Brewery. White water raft 2 hours away. Olympic Training Center 20 minutes, Royal Gorge Suspension Bridge 1 hr, Cripple Creek Casinos 50 minutes, Air Force Academy 25 minutes. Warm and dry in summer.
