May 1, 2025 - All appliances and furniture have been replaced with a new, comfortable, and modern look including a new 65 inch TV.

Welcome to Charming Beach Condo. Our two bedroom, one bath condo is located on the third floor. Relax on the balcony overlooking the beach to the south. Get up early and enjoy the sunrise. Being the end unit, you also get a panoramic view of Jacksonville Beach.

After a warm day on the beach, sunbathing or shelling, cool off in the pool on your way back to the condo. Cook for yourself in the condo or visit one of the MANY local restaurants located close by. When relaxing in the condo, you can watch cable TV or connect to the wireless internet. Enjoy a good nights sleep on one of the 2 queen beds plus sofa bed (pull-out couch).

There is plenty to do at Jax. Beach and the good thing.... everything is close by.

The condo was recently updated with the following items:
- Luxurious sheets and towels of all sizes were added
- Ceiling redone with new ceiling panels
- Bathroom faucets and piping redone
- Replaced all kitchenware
- New furniture
- New appliances
- TVs in each room

Christmas with family

We loved this property! The location is perfect for our needs and the view of the ocean was wonderful. I love to sit on the balcony and have my coffee watching the waves. The elevator was a wonderful plus as I am handicapped. Someone complained about the front door being hard to close but it wasn’t if you turned the door knob. Definitely coming back to this location on future trips!

Moldy beach palace

It was the worst experience ever. The unit front door did not close without extremely rough slamming which can’t easily be performed by a handicapped person. Did have elevator but nothing else was handicapped user friendly including both the front door and slider. Although the unit appeared clean with nice fresh towels and bed linens there was a terrible moldy odor. We did have to turn the heat on so possible that the heating system was the culprit. I called the host Kari and explained that I could not tolerate the smell and allergic response to whatever was in the air. He told me that he would contact vrbo to give me a refund as we vacated before 11 am and were only there 12 hrs. This never happened and after 4 calls to vrbo claims I am still on hold. I can overlook not having a microwave that isn’t functional a difficult to maneuver egress and regress (unsafe) and even stained curtains. But if you have an immediate persistent respiratory issue while inside a property and notify a host immediately it should be a non issue.

Perfect beach getaway!

This beachfront condo in Jacksonville Beach offers an ideal seaside escape with stunning ocean views and direct beach access. The interior is better than I expected. The living room is a nice size, large television with all streaming services available. The kitchen is well equipped with a dishwasher, coffeemaker, Keurig, microwave. The beds are comfortable. The balcony has an amazing view. Having an in-unit washer and dryer is great for doing laundry right before leaving your vacation. There is an elevator and multiple carts that you can use to help you bring your items, if needed. The closet in the garage with the beach items needs to be properly labeled as it should be labeled "12" but it isn't and it is right next to number 7 which makes no sense. Also, the bottom hinge is broken so you need to be careful when opening the door. Also, the front door to the unit is a little hard to close. Waking up to the sound of waves and watching the sunrise from the balcony is simply magical. Definitely will be going back to this rental again.

Great host! Great spot!

Kavi was an amazingly gratious host. The spot is steps from the beach and a short drive from anything you could need. Fantastic, highly recommend.

Fantastic location

I am a repeat customer at this location. It is a hidden jewel. It is just perfect for a family/and/or friend getaway. It is completely pet friendly. My 'Fido" loves it here. Thanks for having my friends, Fido and me this week.

Great stay for our short trip

Close to Mayo

My husband was having surgery at Mayo Clinic and we needed a place to stay near by. It was clean and comfortable, and close by. The only negative was the major road construction that obstructed the entrance of the building the entire stay. And at one point the water was even turned off due to the construction. I was told that the owners were notified and I feel that this should have been communicated to us. We would stay again, if there was no construction.

Nice location but...

Location on beach next to walkway is only positive about this condo. The unit is typical older beach front -tired and neglected; however this unit has had minimal repairs causing problems. The hinges on the front door are loose and therefore the door does not close straight, easily catching fingers in the jam beside the handle. The hinges on kitchen cabinets are broken with doors hanging (although the kitchen did seem decently stocked). The sliding glass door to the balcony will not open without significant strength -my husband could open it a foot. The storage unit is not marked so we needed to try the key in several doors. The hinge on the top of the door is completely off so the door swings cockeyed. There were several umbrellas, all were broken. There were rusted and ripped beach chairs and 3 regular folding chairs. When we arrived 15 minutes after 3:00 check-in the cleaning people were still there doing laundry, mopping, etc. We had plans but could not take a shower and get ready until after 4:00. I unfortunately left my bathing suit in the shower and was 3 hours away when I realized it. I messaged the host. 7 hours later I messaged again. He finally advised it would be $50 to mail me my suit. I can not be the first person to leave something - $50 seems ridiculous to send a light weight item that would fit in a large envelope. I declined. Overall, it was very disappointing with numerous frustrations. Many better options in Jacksonville.

Perfect spot by beach

Overall this was a perfect spot. Kavi was very responsive with questions. Bed(s) were comfortable and sheets were clean. Other than the front door sticking because of age, I would stay here again.

Great Location!

This unit was a few steps to the beach with a lovely view of the waves which we could hear throughout the day and night. Things were clean and our check in and check out process were simple. The hosts were always quick to reply with any messages. Everything was in working condition and we could tell that furniture and some kitchen supplies had been updated since the photos have been taken of the property. Beds and furniture were comfortable. We would stay here again!

Great beach & Kavi is a great host.

Kavi was very helpful and attentive to our requests. The AC went out on the first day we were there, and he made sure an AC company was there early on Monday and it was fixed before the end of the day. He also followed up the next day to make sure it was working. We liked the beach because it was less crowded than the gulf side, very wide, beautiful sand, mostly public with no large rows of resort-owned rental beach chairs.

GREAT STAY

Communication was great. Kavi replied within minutes of any questions. The view from the condo was amazing, several resturants within walking distance, the beach was awesome and our dog Murray absolutely loved walks on the beach, Most resturants also dog friendly. Unfortunately we didnt have any sun this week so we did not use the pool area which was very clean and had a turffed area for lounging. Thank you for such an amazing beach though, as lots if walking was done. It certainly appears Kavi is working on improving the confo as several boxes of misc. household items showed up just before we left and notified a new fridge and stove being delivered the day we were leaving. Unfortunately we could not find the grill as listing showed a grill. Thanks Kavi, you can't control the weather, otherwise our stay was great.

Such a wonderful stay!!

Loved the location and quaintness of the unit. This unit was just what we needed for a getaway with my family. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable. We had a great view of the ocean from the balcony. We loved having the ocean view and seeing the street as people rode along on beach bikes. Access to the elevator was beneficial as I have bad knees. It had everything we needed for our stay, and the host, Kavi, was very responsive and accommodating. If you want to be near the beach in a clean and affordable VRBO, you can’t go wrong with this place!! We have already booked our stay to come back this summer!

Beware! Extremely disappointed—totally misrepresented!

We were very disappointed to find very dirty air filters, moldy vegetables in the window sills, black mold around air vents and the screen door totally off the track. My son had an asthma attack right away and we were unable to stay there at all due to the mold and dirty environment. Even more disturbing is that we were unable to get ANY portion of a refund as money is collected prior to arrival. Furniture is not the same as in the photos btw—no colorful bar stools at counters -just old chairs. Updates listed in description are not true—purely surface/cosmetic paint. Also must climb 2 levels of stairs to reach unit which is not mentioned at all. Will not use or trust VRBO again.

Old Mix-Match

Let’s start with the positive. The condo was clean and the bed was comfortable. The owner graciously allowed us to check in a couple of hours early. That said, the furnishings appeared to be “old attic.” One example: the barstools at the bar were table height so when sat in a persons nose was level with the bar. The kitchen furnishings would meet bare minimal standards. One bedroom had no closet and no hooks on the wall to hang belongings. The front door had to be slammed shut to close. Simply out, the condo did not appear to be “loved”. We noted yes, we enjoyed our stay as our daughter lives in Jacksonville and we spent most of the time at her house. That was a life saver for if I had planned to cook Thanksgiving dinner in the condo I would have been in big trouble. The condo is street side so just be aware there is a long walk from the elevator; however, there are stairs very close to the door.

Worked for us

Nice clean place worked good for us, but is older. Beds were comfortable, couch good, 1 deck chair had a broken foot rest no biggie to us. Easy beach access and nice pool . No baking sheet, or measuring cups . Tv in room by patio didn’t connect only tried to use it 1 time let owner know. Bath towels could use updating. Beach towels were great. Good starter supplies

Lovely place

This is our second time staying at these condos, first time at this particular one. I worried because it's more of side view of the ocean, but it turned out to be perfect. Sitting on the balcony, enjoying the ocean breezes was heavenly. The place is clean and cute. It's just as advertised. The only issue was that we didn't have the entry code when we arrived, but the owner got back to us right away with the code. I would definitely come back! The fact that it's pet friendly is a plus. The pool is nice and several times we had it all to ourselves. And Jax Beach is great. Also there are a couple of nice places to eat within walking distance -- a great Thai restaurant and a couple of good places for breakfast. And a short drive away is Atlantic Beach with excellent dining options. Try The Local -- great food, atmosphere, and drinks.
