Perfect for a romantic getaway. The Terraces is a premier Florida beach condo rental! The Terraces at Beachside sits at Main Beach which offers a unique park-like setting, complete with a volley ball court, covered picnic areas and barbeque grills for your convenience. The Terraces at Beachside are the closest oceanfront condos on Amelia Island, FL to Historic Centre Street and the island's Victorian beach town, Fernandina Beach. Historic Fernandina Beach offers many unique shopping and dining experiences for every visitor! The Terraces at Beachside is a quiet and cozy accommodation with only 15 units total. For the most in comfort and security there are interior halls complete with elevator service and covered parking lots. The Terraces at Beach side is wonderful for a romantic getaway or reserve multiple rooms for that much needed family vacation. Get away

Lots of place to eat within walking distance. They did not have a wine bottle opener but luckily our friends were staying next door in a much bigger condo and were provided with one it their unit.

Perfect Location, Would Stay Again

This condo offered a perfect location by being just steps away from the beach, and a short drive to the historic downtown area for restaurants and shopping. There was also a restaurant right beside the condo, mini golf, and more. The condo was exactly as described. The only downside to the condo itself was not having any drawers/storage for your clothing except the hangers in the closet. Also, we got a little nervous when check-in was for 4 pm, and at 3:20 pm we still hadn’t received the access codes, but they came around 3:30/3:40, which was fine since we arrived right at 4 pm. We would stay here again.

Perfect Getaway.

Second time staying. Can't wait to get back. Really love the place. Once we arrive we walk everywhere we go. Restaurants near by are excellent. We spend as much time as possible on the beach and you can't get much closer if you tried. Room was very clean. Upgrades to room are perfect. Family staying next door walked over and loved the unit. They are interested in staying here too.

Nice condo great location

This is a cute place with a great location. It’s right on the beach with restaurants nearby. The check in process was so easy. I would love to give it 5 stars, but the baseboards were dirty and the oven really needed to be cleaned. Something had spilled over in the over and was stuck to the bottom. Also, the ice maker did not work. I addressed the cleanliness with the property manager and they assured me they would bring it up with the housekeeping staff. I will stay in the building again if I return to Amelia Island.

We love Amelia Island

We had a great little getaway just my husband and myself. The condo was perfect for us and had all we needed. Weather was perfect. Would stay here again.

Great location

Great location but the place is not very clean. Furniture is old. The worst bed I have ever slept on. The mattress needs to bed replaced. Mold in the shower. Baseboards are nasty. Comforter is so old that it’s dry rotted.

Family vacation

We had a great vacation overall! We only had a few hiccups…towels were left in the washer that we had to rewash, sandy floors, and some dishes/silverware was dirty in the drawers/cabinets…all an easy and quick fix. The walk to the beach was perfect and so close. Speaking to the property manager was super easy and convenient by text. The only thing we would have changed would be a bigger pool, just because of the kids. We will definitely be back!

Not good for couples

The condo and location were perfect. The major complaint was the master bedroom had only a full bed. We had to sleep separately bc we are adults and needing at least a queen bed to be conformable throughout the night. I would not stay again for that reason. you should not have to chose to sleep with your spouse or be comfortable.

Pretty Good - some issues but nothing terrible

We typically always stay at the terraces when we visit Amelia Island. I knew it would be busier than normal since it was a holiday weekend, and while I never leave reviews, I think there’s an opportunity for feedback. The room: The room appeared to be cleaned on the surface. I did notice blood on the sheets in the master. Because it was a tiny amount and I planned to bleach them prior to using them anyways, this wasn’t a huge deal…but for some, this could be a dealbreaker. The carpet/rug in the living room could be cleaned. We threw it over the balcony for a couple of days and the smell was gone from the room. Most of the outlets in the kitchen stopped working on the 3rd day. I checked the breakers and none were tripped. Other than some housekeeping easy fixes, the room was nice. If you plan to utilize the sofa sleeper, just know in advance that it takes up the entire living room. This wasn’t an issue for us, but it may be to some. The primary reason I will not return to the terraces is the beach access. In the past I have been able to walk straight out to the beach. There is now a very large dune that makes the trek to the ocean incredibly challenging, even to those without physical disabilities or small children. I’m not sure why the change happened, but the 5ft climb up through the soft sand then down and back up again was a lot! The environment is the environment, but since the beach was previously always an easy walk, I’m certain that this could be fixed.

Great unit and perfect location!

This unit is perfectly maintained. It’s not glitzy - all white kitchen and a stove with coils. But it all fits the beach vibe and everything functions perfectly. Very well equipped. The only complaint is that the tub/shower has a very high step over. For us it was only an inconvenience, but for those with mobility issues it would be a problem. The first thing I would change if I owned this unit, and I would love to own it, would be to convert to a walk in shower. Bed was so comfy - the only problem was I slept too late! Although this is only a one bathroom unit, the extra sinks adjoining the bedroom are very nice.

Condo Upgrade

The condo is perfect for two people. Thanks for buying a new mattress for us. There is one thing you need to look into. The tub wall is over two feet tall. It is a bear to step over in order to take a shower. Honestly the whole thing needs to be replaced. Any older person will have an extremely hard time stepping into the tub.

Overall a great experience. I was very happy with the condo and would definitely stay here again. The decor was a little bit dated, but most importantly, it was clean, comfortable, and I had everything I needed for an nice, quick weekend.

Perfect size at a great location

The location of this unit is great. It's right at the end of A1A within a 2min walking distance of the public park/beach access, putt putt, a few very good restaurants. The area is quiet and was not very busy during our spring break. The unit was clean and as expected. The pull out couch was not the best, but I pull out couches often aren't, we bought a cheap air mattress instead for our daughter. We expect to return.
