This condo is perfect for couples and families looking for a fabulous time exploring the tidal pools and walking to the village of Ocean Beach, only a 10-minute walk from your condo!

Condo has unparalleled white-water coastline and sunset views from living room, master bedroom and balcony. 15 foot high ceilings! Perfect accommodations for 6 guests in our 1,650 sf 3 bed/ 2 bath beach condo. The sound of waves hitting the rocks just below this vacation home is hypnotic.

Beautiful unimpeded and expansive view down the coastline and across the ocean for whale, dolphin and seal watching. 2 minute drive/ 15 minute walk to fabulous restaurants, local craft breweries, antique stores, massage therapy, quaint shopping in Ocean Beach. Centrally located- Just 15 minutes to Downtown, Zoo, Seaworld, Seaport Village, La Jolla, Petco Park and the Point Loma Tidepools and Lighthouse.

Two secure underground parking spaces included, plus plenty of readily available parking on the street!

I absolutely challenge you to find a comprable condo with this proximity to the beach, within 15 minutes of the airport and so central to all of San Diego's attractions. There are NO vacation rentals like this in La Jolla. You'd be facing 1 hour wait times trying to drive to a vacation rental in Pacific Beach of Mission Beach. I've lived in San Diego for over 30 years and bought this condo knowing it would be the very best value of any condo by the beach.

Few new items would help property immensely. New coffee maker. Current one takes 20 minutes to brew.New shower rod in guest bathroom.New door lock. Current one had major shut down.New key for front door that works.

50th birthday celebration

The property we stayed was beautiful and had the best view ever! We had six adults stay with us and it was very fun and inviting. Parking was great because we had 3 cars and 3 spaces. We walked to beach daily and walked to downtown Ocean Beach for great food! The owner was very communicative and we had no issues. Would highly recommend this location and would stay there again! Amazing trip for sure. Thank you!

Family hangout vacation

The location of this property cannot be beat. Finding a place with 3 bedrooms all having king size bed was a prize within itself. Bathrooms and kitchen were fully stocked. Overall was a wonderful experience!! The only thing negative. I can say is minor maintenance issues, but they are easy to overlook with the comfort and location of this beautiful home.

Getaway by the cove

This was the perfect spot for our family getaway! Our adult children and younger child loved jumping around in the rolling waves that crash onto the cove. It's fun watching surfers and boogie boarders right from the porch. It's a little adventurous getting down to the cove. There is also a small sandy beach in the cove, but families with younger children would probably prefer to be on the wide open Ocean Beach just to the north, which is walkable from the rental. Lots of great restaurants and breweries within walking distance as well as a couple of grocery options. Very laid back, friendly local vibes. I can't say it enough...amazing location!We had a comfortable stay and found most of the things we needed in the rental. Super comfy beds. Ear plugs might be helpful for light sleepers, but the white noise created by the waves cancels out a lot of the air traffic and late night partying on the beach. Definitely recommended!

Beautiful property

We absolutely loved our stay here. It was very comfortable and had everything that we needed. Each bedroom was comfortable and the bathrooms were spacious. The view was amazing and the area was quiet. We would definitely go back!

Great vacation spot!

This condo was as advertised - stunning views, beautifully appointed, conveniently located!! We enjoyed a wonderful two week stay. The condo had everything we needed and more!! San Diego sights are all within a reasonable distance, including the airport! We enjoyed walking the few blocks to the restaurants in Ocean Beach many nights. We highly recommend this condo as a great place to stay if you are visiting the San Diego area!!

Ocean Beach condo was perfect!

The condo had three bedrooms and the beds were comfortable; the living areas were great; the ocean view and outdoor access were perfect. The only thing that could have been better would have been for the carpet to be cleaned properly. The steps up to the condo were tiring at first but we soon grew to appreciate the exercise.

Awesome views!

Great location. Walk to everything. Beautiful little cove below the unit or a short walk to a bigger beach. Parking is so nice to have - a must for San Diego or Ocean Beach. Would not be good for handicap - stairs. We’ve stayed here twice and hope to come again!

Summer vacation

The property sits above a couple of smaller beaches with cliffs that are easy access. During our stay we swam on the beaches below and Ocean beach just a few blocks away. We enjoyed the zoo, sea world, lake Jennings and walks by the bay and viewed awesome sunsets off sunset cliffs. The weather was perfect during our week long stay. The house is well stocked, quiet and secure. One of the best vacations we’ve been on for sure.

Having 30 + steps to deal with when handicapped was difficult I did not see that there was any mention of those in listing. I tried to call host but never reached them Although it has stunning ocean views: there was no visible beach to walk ( all rocks)

Fabulous Views

When we arrived (around 10:15 pm), the master bedroom and bathroom had not been cleaned and sheets/towels had not been changed. We were able to contact the owner of the property the next morning, and it was taken care of while we were out sightseeing. A rocky start BUT, the condo was lovely, the view was spectacular and our grandkids liked the little beach below the condo the best of all the beaches they went to. Ocean Beach is a wonderful, funky community and we will stay there again - most likely in the same building because the location was close to everything. The instruction/information book needs to be updated, however!

I reserved this property for a weekend getaway for my twin daughter’s 15th birthday!

I rented this gorgeous place for a weekend getaway for my daughters and I. This place exceeded my expectations. While the pictures show a beautiful clean property once you are there in person it is over the top! All furniture if brand new. Beds are some of the comfiest beds I’ve slept in! Each of us had our own bedroom. All king beds a super plus! The decor is exquisite! There is a full laundry room for guests that need such services. We didn’t have time for cooking however if we needed to there was nothing spared. The best part was the living room while you can sit either inside or outside on the balcony and watch the gorgeous view of the Pacific Ocean and this special cove. We spent so much time relaxing in the living room. There is also a great sitting area in the master with the same view. Access to the beach is super simple. Just a few steps down and you are there! I have to especially thank the host Robert for being so kind to me and my daughters. He went above and beyond to make our stay the best. I will always book this property when I’m San Diego. Also the town of Ocean Beach is like 5 minutes walking. Everyone morning I would walk to Starbucks and get my coffee. The baristas knew me by name and everyone was so kind. Super cool town.

Great property, amazing views, great host

Group of 5 adults stayed here for my daughter's wedding. Property was clean, bright and airy. Direct oceanfront, wonderful breeze with the windows and sliding glass door open, and beautiful sunsets. 3 large bedrooms, all with king beds. Large closets. Beds are very comfortable. 2 full bathrooms. 5 of us never ran out of hot water. Fireplace opens into living room and master bedroom - as the weather was amazing, we did not use it. Comfy living room furniture (seating for 4), open living/kitchen area - additional seating at kitchen table. Host was very responsive. Let us check in a few hours early. Answered our questions promptly, gave us recommendations for restaurants. Host only requires dishes in dishwasher and garbage to cans when leaving. Would certainly stay here again. Two things to note - this unit is a 2nd floor unit with parking underneath. So there is a shorter set of steps up to the street level and another set of steps up to the unit. My new knee handled them no problem, but could be difficult for some. The unit is on a cliff, as are many properties in San Diego, so there is a fairly long set of steps outside to get down to the beach. Nice thing is the stairs are right next to the condo. Second item - the underground parking garage provides 2 spots, plus guest parking. However, the parking is a bit tight. We were fine with a SUV and a Mazda 3 - but would have been hard to maneuver with a crew cab pickup truck or a Suburban.

This place is amazing! The view is stunning, the rooms are clean and well equipped with essentials. We did make use of the kitchen as well as the restaurants that are within walking distance. Being able to walk right down to the beach was a plus. We would absolutely love to return to the same place!

Incredible view but an older property that needs maintenance. Master shower had a drain cover with no screws to hold it in place. Sink in master had drain connector that came loose. Other minor repairs that we took care of. Could not get the fan in master to work. Nice furniture and comfortable beds.

I first moved to San Diego from Walnut Creek in Northern California in 1985. Lived in an apartment owned by one of my professors who told me (Oh Brother Where Art Thou) "You 'aint no kind of man unless you own some land." So, decided to invest in the community so-to-speak and sourced this highly singular condo as soon as it was feasible.
And now, we own two of them. And they adjoin! Perfect for very small weddings in the cove and honeymoon suite to boot!

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

The two condos we own are upstairs units with the best white water views I've seen this close to downtown.
If La Jolla offered this kind of view for VRBO (they really don't), then you'd expect to pay 3X's the price. If you're thinking along the lines of Mission Beach, then think again, the traffic will hinder all your summer plans (same thing with La Jolla traffic!).
Ocean Beach is a gentrified hippie community and check's all the boxes for proximity to the Zoo, Seaworld, Downtown, the Airport, etc, as well as providing this incredible proximity to the water and semi-private ocean cove.
