"Old Florida" Beach Cottage-Beachfront!

This 1930s "old Florida" beach cottage is right on the beach and one of only a few left that is on the ground floor -no stairs, no elevators - just one story, 2 bedrooms, 1 bath with Jacuzzi tub and internet available. The cottage sleeps 4 comfortably. No pets and no smoking please. The cottage is perfect for a couple that wants a couple of visitors from time to time. This is a great place to enjoy the incredible sunsets of Indian Shores Beach from the porch and the shade from the many pine trees on the property. This cottage has everything you need. Just bring your suitcases and relax on the beach! It is on the bus line with access to The Jolley Trolley and many area restaurants and shopping. The cottage is also just minutes from Clearwater and St. Pete beaches and a short drive to the Tampa International Airport.

The place was perfect for our idea of a quiet, beach getaway. The place was clean and provided a welcoming and comfortable stay. We loved watching the sunsets and being able to watch and listen to the waves while drinking our coffee in the mornings. We are hopeful to return and stay here again.

The cottage was great as usual. This was our 6th visit. The view of the gulf was great. They was work going on the beach and that made the trip very stressful but when they get finished it will make the beach shore better.

The perfect beach house

This is the second time we've stayed in this house and we loved it just as much as we did the first time! The house is right on the beach in a lovely, quiet area. The house is well equipped and had everything we needed. The host was super responsive if/when we had a question. We hope to stay here again in the future since we come to this area every summer.

Peaceful and relaxing!

We had a wonderful 35th anniversary stay here. All the touches in the cottage are so well thought out and welcoming. Has everything you need; we never left the property a few days! Could sit on the porch and see the ocean, which we enjoyed every day!

Beachy Charm

This beach cottage is as wonderful as it appears. It is the very best of Old Florida charm! If your idea of a vacation involves hours on the beach with a book and just enough of a crowd for good people watching but not enough to disturb your tranquility, dolphin escapades and incredible sunsets, this is the right place for you. Everything you need and a friendly and accessible owner. I can’t wait to go back!

Amazing beach vacation

If you like to spend the day on the beach, this property is for you!!! It is a stunning private property with gorgeous outdoor views immediately on the water. You feel like you have your own private beach on the Gulf of Mexico. It’s very relaxing and and quiet. I love it, that we can set out the beach chairs in the morning and come in and out of the house as we feel like it without having to pack up and hull our stuff back-and-forth. The property is stunning. The large cottage is more spacious than the pictures show. My two teenage boys, my husband and I were very comfortable. The apartment and kitchen are fully stocked. It’s not the newest, but it is clean, homey and well maintained. The beds were comfortable, bedsheets were good quality. Walking distance from multiple restaurants. Suggestion; make reservations! There is also a small cottage on the same property. If you want to go with multiple families, this is a great spot to be separate, and at the same time, be able to hang out together whenever you want. Communication with property manager was easy and quick. Anytime I want to visit the Tampa area, I will be coming back to this property!

We cant say enough good things about our stay. It was clean and furnished and supplied nicer than anywhere else we have stayed. The beach, beach access and view were phenomenal! Exceeded expectations! Many activities and excellent restaurants within 15 minutes. Thank you Barbara!
