Direct Ocean Front Home completely remodeled inside and out overlooking spectacular Kahalu’u Bay with views of surfers, dolphins, whales and sunsets. This one of a kind property features two Cottages with separate Master Suites. Amenities include two bathrooms, sun deck, covered Lanai, outdoor shower, private pool, direct ocean access, new furnishings and appliances . Remodel includes indoor /outdoor sound system, 3 big screen TVs and a gated entry system allowing space for 1 vehicle. Located on beautiful Ali'i Drive just 5 miles from downtown Kona and minutes from Keauhou shopping center.

**All guests are required to sign a rental agreement with Knutson & Associates Property Management in addition to purchasing a Damage Protection Plan or providing a Security Deposit if they stay at this property. Inquire within for specific details**

From the minute we walked into this beautiful home, I knew it was going to be a magical plane My two daughters joined my husband and I and the house was perfect for us 4. From waking up with the sun sipping coffee on the lanai, to falling asleep to the crashing waves… our stay was perfect. Tuttle Rock is a private oasis offering peace and tranquility!

Kahaluu Bay Paradise

Beautiful property with ocean views from every room . Foot steps from one of the best snorkeling spots on the island . If you are a surfer just hop out the beach gate and paddle out to one of the best surf spots . The pool is perfect if you are just looking to relax in the sun . The property manager is courteous and available for any of your needs .This property has everything for a perfect Big Island vacation . We used to always stay in Waikoloa but we definitely will be coming back here !

55th birthday

What a beautiful location. We spent most mornings watching the sun rise over the southern hill and then watch the surfers. The cottages were perfect for two couples. The home was stocked with everything you could need and then some. The pool was relaxing and clean and you had a view of the surfers and spinner dolphins from the lania. We have stayed on Kona many times at many different places. This is one we would highly recommend to anyone. Almost forgot to mention that stunning sunsets. All interactions with host/property manager were outstanding. Thank you for helping to make my 55th birthday a memorable one.

One of the best vacation rentals ever.

Best snorkeling beach short 5 min walk away. Fabulous views off deck, enjoyed watching surfers, and beautiful sunsets. Pool a blessing on humid days and evenings. Excellent location-5 min drive to KTA grocery store and 20 min drive to eaterys and other shopping. Centralized location for exploring the island. Used and enjoyed on-site snorkel and pool accessories. Beautifully maintained grounds and pool, house open and airy, fans a plus, comfortable secure location. Management company (Blake) attentive and responsive. We were well rested and relaxed at the end of our 10 day vacation - would love to return.

Go all out and stay here.

This trip was a celebration for our family and it was AWESOME! I've stayed at a few places on Ali'i drive, and none come close to this location. Tucked in the perfect, and I mean perfect, location, we didn't want to leave the house. It's appointed perfectly and well-designed for privacy between the house and the guest bedroom. We surfed right there, snorkeled in the bay, and ran. We always looked forward to our afternoons hanging out at the house and cooling off in the pool. We also encountered a storm while there and it was epic to have a front-row seat! The landlord was very helpful and attentive as well.

Heavenly views

The place is just as beautiful as you hoped it would be. The turquoise ocean surrounds you in the den, kitchen and bedrooms! It is maybe the most peaceful place ever! Having the private pool is wonderful; get prepared to get an island tan while watching nearby surfers everyday. The house is very modern with every amenity. The comfy chaise lounges and outdoor dining table make it perfect - we also used the grill. The only issue we had was the number of security cameras onsite, which was a bit disconcerting; however, overall, it was a gorgeous property and we would highly recommend!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our third time renting the property at Turtle Rock. It is just exquisite. The property literally dangles over the ocean. It is immaculate with every amenity. The waves lull you to sleep and the table on the lanai calls for morning coffee. Unlike many other rentals, this unit is FULLY stocked with all the paper goods you will need - kitchen goods, bathroom supplies and more. The staff at Knutson Real Estate was professional and easy to work with. I could not recommend the unit and the company more!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Turtle Rock is expensive, but the house can’t be beat! The ocean is steps away, the waves and surf sounds are to die for. The lanai is perfect for coffee, drinks, watching surfers and whale watching! The kitchen is well stocked and has everything you need to make breakfast, lunch and dinner. The pool is perfect for a refreshing dip. The house is less than a hundred yards to the bay for snorkeling and surfing. It is a quick drive to the mall with a KTA and other shops/restaurants. Blake was a pleasure to deal with and promptly responded to the few questions and inquiries we had. Simply a perfect home base for a Big Island vacation. Mahalo Blake, we had a great time.

From the moment you pull into the private drive and hear the sound of waves, you know you have arrived at a special place. Upon entering the main house, the view explodes before you — open seas and waves crashing on black rocks — the scenery of surfers and black sand beaches tucked around tide pools to the south. The main house is graciously appointed with modern amenities in the kitchen and primary suite. Perfect size home for small groups with ample room to stretch-out in the open floorplan. Guesthouse is ideal for a second couple or two kids. And the blue-tiled pool, outdoor shower and inviting decks and patios invite socializing or just quiet contemplation. We love this Kona hideaway. Can’t wait to return to Paradise Found!

Kona Perfection!!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have rented about a dozen places around the Hawaiian Islands and Turtle Rock is our favorite. This home is so special and Kona went so deep into our hearts during our stay. My husband and I had the place to ourselves for about a week - it is such a romantic place. We sat outside every morning watching the sunrise together, drinking Kona coffee and discussing our plans. The views - spectacular!! We were greeted by a rainbow on the ocean the first morning. And you can watch all the surfers, snorkelers, swimmers etc as the day goes by. The pool is awesome - very cold but perfect for those hot days! I made us mai tais to sip on the lanai, and the kitchen had just about everything we needed - even for a big Thanksgiving dinner. (We donated a better frying pan, potato masher, meat thermometer.) Sleeping was phenomenal - we kept all the doors screened and listened to the roar of the ocean at night. My college-aged daughter and her friend joined us for 3 nights and they slept in the ohana suite. They were blown away and took gorgeous Instagram pics. They had their own space which gave us all privacy. They also walked to their first surf lesson at Kahalu’u Bay. They raved about lessons from HSLI and were easily standing up riding waves right away. I recommend taking out the garbage daily as they ask. There were a few ants - nothing bothersome but we made sure to keep things clean. The owner really cares about this place. And there are security cameras everywhere. It was a bit unsettling at first but then made me feel very safe as occasionally people walk along the shoreline as the public can access it. Also pulling out on to Ali’i Drive takes a bit of finesse and patience. This really is the most special place we’ve ever stayed and we are so thankful to the owner for making it available to rent. We wouldn’t hesitate to return. My only advice to the owner is to supply things like extra dish soap, trash bags, TP
