Instead, spend more time enjoying hiking and skiing at this ski-in location, just steps away from free bus to Peak 8 as well as the gondola , Main Street, and hiking, and biking trails.

Whether it’s skiing in winter time, hiking or biking in summer time, or enjoying great restaurants anytime, Twin Elk makes everything easily accessible.

The kitchen is well-equipped and ample light fills the kitchen and living space. The gas fireplace will provide some added warmth while enjoying the newly updated entertainment center with 48” LED Smart TV (WiFi enabled) to stream movies and TV shows from your Netflix account. There is also a selection of games, a Sony iPod docking station to listen to your favorite music, and free high-speed WiFi for your wireless devices.

The comfortable bedrooms are located downstairs from the kitchen and living area, providing separation for those that want to wind-down a little earlier (or head out early to hit the trails and slopes). The primary bedroom has an en-suite bathroom (with a shower/tub), a queen-sized bed with the rustic log furniture providing a cabin-like feel. It also has a television. The second bedroom has a full-sized bed with a twin bunk and adjacent bathroom (with stand-up shower).

There are few lodging options with a large, HEATED, attached garage this close to everything, with hooks, racks and space for your skis, snowboards, boots and gear. No need to carry your luggage up stairs or down long hallways. Simply enter through the garage and quickly stow your bags in your bedrooms.

Twin Elk Condo Stay

My family and I were very pleased with the location of the property in reference to the “gold” bus route, which takes you directly to access point for Peak 8, close access to the 4 o’clock trail, close proximity to the gondola and for easy walking or driving access into down town Breckenridge. The condo overall was nice with plenty of amenities offered. Access directions to get into the garage, condo itself, hot tub and trash area were easy to know how to do per the clear instructions left by the owners.

The unit has a nice upper level. There are 2 flights of stairs and both bathrooms are downstairs which is inconvenient. The carpets downstairs need to be cleaned or replaced . Really dirty. The garage opener doesn’t work and the owner expressed no regret about that. Otherwise she was responsive and helpful.

Perfect Place - close walk to Breck Main Street

We really enjoyed our stay! Two adults with two kids (almost 4 and 2). We chose this location because it was close to the Main Street (3 minute walk), but also because they had a baby gate, pack n play, kids books, and toys! For our stage of life, it was perfect and why we chose this one over other locations. The hosts were really responsive to our questions and made our stay easy. They had kitchen amenities that were helpful: pans, toaster, blender, spices, etc. things you don’t think about. Wish they had plastic cups for kids but we brought our own. No big deal.

Great townhome in Breck!

Stayed for 6 days during the summer for hiking and biking. Great location and perfect space for 4-5 people.

Dated property in great location. Difficult ski in with hidden trail to parking lot. Several issues on check in with property not ready for occupancy. TV not working properly. Garage door was broken but usable. High price given the amenities

Great property and location A+

Place is wonderfully located, clean, comfortable, and checked all the boxes. Was on a trip with my daughter and our first time to Breck. I would recommending printing the detailed information the owner sends. Several codes for garage, doors, and hot tub. You are just a short walk directly into the action of town. A 5 minute (tops) walk to the gondola (runs at 8am). The directions for ski back needs a little work. Maybe others will post but I will write as well. Directly after the bridge on gondola ski back is a switchback trail. I believe it says Thunder (something) is written on the sign. Does not say Twin Elk. You will ski through the woods behind a hot tub and just keep going. You end in the small parking lot for Twin Elk just steps to the place. The place did not have any printed directions or maps that we could find. Gentle recommendation to the owner. The place has everything you need and more. I had forgotten washer detergent and coffee filters…it was all there. So awesome to not have to worry about those loose ends and just enjoy everything Breck has to offer. Place is an A+ and I see no need to ever try anything different. Thanks!

Convenient and Excellent

Fully stocked and easy to access buses, quick walk to town for all the shops and restaurants. Last run is always 4 O'clock and a 5 minute walk which is 100% worth it. House has plenty of kitchen amenities and everything is in the right place, easy to figure out, and comfortable. We would definitely stay again.

Great Stay!

We arrived in Denver during 2 feet of snow over 2 days in the mountains. I 70 was closed, so we picked our way over Hoosier pass in whiteout conditions. Crazy! The condo was exactly as described, and the location is perfect! Brandon was in contact with us even as we were flying in. The snow delayed the cleaning crew, but he was on top of the issue and made sure it was taken care of. The two bedroom condo will easily sleep 6 people. It is literally steps from the free bus shuttle to Peaks 7 and 8. To return, take the 4 0'Clock trail to Gondola trail and you are only a short walk to the condo. 2 non-acclimated old men made the trip in less than 10 minutes in ski boots. It's as close to being in a trailside Condo without actually being on the mountain. 2 bathrooms, decent kitchen with all you need to make meals, it would be great for a family. Or, since you are right on the edge of the nightlife district, the apre ski crowd would find this perfect as well. Price is right compared to the others in the area. If we go to Breckenridge again, we'll definitely be staying here.

Disappointment

My experience with the host should have tipped me off to my actual stay. She was unhelpful and unaccommodating. The garage code didn't work, the gas fireplace didn't work and neither did the hot tub, the bathtub stopper is practically falling off. Breckendridge is beautiful and the location of the condo was good, but I would never stay here again. The Residence Inn down the street is by far superior for the price. I overpaid for this unit.

Review of Sli Hill condos

This property is perfect for those who want the convenience of a true 7min walk to gondola. There is also a shuttle that picks you up at the property just a few steps from your front door. To top it off, it is a true ski as you can ride the slope to 4 o’clock just steps from condo. It was a great time for my soon to be 21 year old son and his best friend. There was a garage ad an added bonus so we did not have to pay to store ski equipment. The owners were very kind and polite !

Great location

We enjoyed the stay. The townhouse worked well for us. The mountains are very dry. After a hot, dry first night, we discovered the humidifiers in the bedroom closets. Subsequent nights we used the humidifiers and kept bedroom doors open, which allowed heat to escape upstairs. Skiing all day, then climbing stairs isn’t ideal. Definitely make sure you’re in shape for your ski vacation plus townhouse up & downs. All bathrooms are on the lower floor of the townhouse. When you are home, you will be climbing up and down. I probably would have booked the home anyway, but the description doesn’t say it’s a two-story, bedrooms and bathrooms on the lower floor. Kitchen, washer/dryer, and family room on the upper floor. Also, there is another condo above the family room. Our final day, another family was above us, playing soccer? Or bouncing a ball, with their kids or a dog early in the morning. The townhouse was on the free shuttle route which was the ideal route to the lifts. Skiing home on the 4 o’clock trail leaves you with a 3 block uphill walk back in ski boots. Just take the bus!!!

The best of Breck

We really enjoyed our trip and will definitely be staying again. The condo had everything we needed and I couldn’t believe how easy it was to get to the mountain, especially with the kid with us. There’s a bus stop directly behind the house which we used every morning but we also walked over without our skis to take the gondola on the first day just to check out the ride. It’s free and what a gorgeous ride. Breck is an amazing mountain with something for every ski ability but what’s amazing is all the ski back trails to different communities including this one. We skied all the way down the Four O’clock run to the parking lot of the community and walked easily back to the condo-which is right across from the hot tub (felt great, clean, perfect end to the day). Inside the condo, the owners have everything you would need if you wanted to cook-all new appliances. But it was vacation so I wanted to check out restaurants in town. The owners provided a restaurant guide that I found really helpful because there really are so many choices. The walk to town is five minutes-the condos higher up and much more $$$ lack this kind of access and location perks. The best part of the stay was the availability of the owners. I had a couple questions and shot them messages. Erin got back to me right away. In fact, Erin was one step ahead anticipating everything we would need. It’s obvious these owners want to make the best experience for their guests. Will book again for sure.

Springbreak skitrip

Positive: Booking is easy, communication with owner not a problem with responsive time, check in as per instruction excellent, kitchen utensils well stocked, cleanliness very good, garage for large cars tight but heated, two plastic sleds good for kids fun, everything is close by in Breckenridge. Negative Some lights did not work and not enough bulbs to replace worn out bulbs, reported to owner with not solution within 6 days of stay, toilet paper not enough, had to stock up ourself, noise of next door apartment can be heard, pictures show a bigger apartment than it is i.e. in the downstairs bedroom.

Overall good experience. It is not ski in and ski out, but you can walk to gondola or use bus.

Ok for older children, would be more challenging to lug skis around to gondola for younger kids. Overall a good property.

We love the mountains and have always wanted a place in Breckenridge. It is the perfect place for us to enjoy some of our most favorite activities - hike, bike, ski/snowboard, cross country ski, and relax! We love the small town feel, the ability to park our car and walk everywhere in Breckenridge - visiting many of the local eateries that serve great food and offer amazing views of the mountains. We have a daughter that loves the several parks in town, the fairy forest (which we still hope reopens soon!) and is of course learning to ski!

We take care of our home and will do our best to make sure you feel comfortable, relaxed, and on vacation while you stay in Breckenridge. We chose our home there because it is only a 3 minute walk to downtown, ski in, close to the gondola, has a heated garage, and separate floors to create space between the bedrooms and the living area. We also have a deck that faces the mountains and is great for morning coffee or to grill in the venings.
