We have been coming to the Outer Banks for years, and this was by far our best rental experience! The location is perfectly situated, with easy access to the beach and close to great places to eat and fun activities. The house was clean, comfortable, and quiet, and it had everything we needed for a wonderful vacation.The Blue Bungalow was perfect for our family and was also very comfortable with a toddler and our two dogs. We are hopeful that we can make staying at the Blue Bungalow an annual tradition!

We loved the house and the location. Short walk to the beach and a quiet road to ride bikes. Hosts were great and even left a welcome gift. We will definitely be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Blue Cottage while visiting for a family wedding. With six adults in our group, the cottage offered plenty of space for everyone to comfortably gather together while also having room for privacy when needed — especially helpful while getting ready for the wedding festivities.The close proximity to the beach made it perfect for relaxing walks, and we loved exploring the neighborhood. There were a couple of run down houses, but many beautiful and upgraded ones. (Including one with a pool, right next door.)The cottage itself was nicely updated and very comfortable.The hot tub was the perfect way to unwind. We enjoyed our stay and would return again.

Very nice personal touches from the owners, including a generous welcome gift for us and for our dog and ahandwritten note, plus they left the lights on for our arrival. The property is clean and well stocked and has plenty of charm. It's a quick and easy walk to the beach or a great local restaurant, or you can enjoy the breeze on the screened in deck. This was our second visit and we still absolutely love this house.

The house was beautifully decorated, cozy, and well-appointed with everything we needed. We chose it because it was dog-friendly, and it was that and more. We were close to the beach and to lots of good spots in Kitty Hawk and Nags Head. The winter weather was mild so we were able to enjoy the screened porch and the hot tub. The showers were hot and the water pressure was around. Beds and bedrooms were comfortable. We cooked one night and had everything necessary to make a full meal.

Yes. The place is beautiful and they gave us a beautiful cutting board as a memory. And had a dog bowl waiting for us. Just a lot of things that made it special. And games there.

The Blue Bungalow is a charming beach cottage, a close walk to the beach. Not only is it a dog-friendly cottage, but the owners are obviously dog-lovers as they include small, personalized touches to make owners and pets feel welcomed.

Obx mini vacation

The property was in a very Convenient location close to stores 2 miles away. 2 minute walk to beach access Also unit was very clean and had clear instructions for anything that you needed . I would rent this unit again when i come back in the future.. Great place for a family vacation Also

We had the best vacation at The Blue Bungalow! So many little details included that put this vacation over the top! This home feels like a home, not a rental property! Can’t wait to go back!

Perfect off-season get-away!

Loved this property--close to the beach, plenty of room for our family of four to stretch out. Quiet neighborhood and close to everything. Would definitely return!

Lovely stay

We had a lovely extended stay at the blue bungalow. It was in a perfect location for exploring during the off season... walking distance to open shops and restaurants and just a short walk to the beach. The owners could not have been more welcoming...leaving thoughtful gifts for our stay which was so kind and appreciated. Would definitely recommend blue bungalow!

Great pet friendly vacation spot!

We had a wonderful stay at the Blue Bungalow! The property is well equipped, clean, and had the cutest beachy vibe. The location is fantastic being just a short walk to the beach. The property owners left a very sweet and thoughtful gift and card upon arrival. Little details like that really make a trip extra special. I highly recommend this property. My family and two doggies had a blast.
