STOP - Are looking for a comfortable Outer Banks Cottage for your family vacation? One that has something for everyone?

'The Good Stuff,' a traditional Outer Banks Beach Cottage was created with your family's comfort in mind. For your family's enjoyment, flat screen TVs and wireless high speed internet is provided at the cottage. A Nintendo Wii has also been provided for those lazy afternoons.

If you are looking to create vacation memories your family will remember forever, you are at the RIGHT place. 'The Good Stuff' is ready to make your vacation unforgettable. Take a stroll on the beach, soak in the hot tub, or enjoy a game of pool with the kids. Stop, Relax, and Enjoy a little of 'The Good Stuff.'

Upper level - contains the living area with a flat screen TV, DVD, VCR, and Nintendo Wii, a kitchen with bar looking out over the ocean (seating for 4), dining area with seating for 6, two bedrooms (2 kings), a newly renovated full bath and (2024) living room furniture. Also located on this level is a sunroom with comfortable seating allowing you to relax and enjoy the great ocean views seen from this beach cottage.

Ground level - Great area for teenagers and young adults - contains a game room with pool table, TV, and futon, bedroom with queen and a full bath.

Save room in your suitcases, don't worry about towels and linens. They are provided for your comfort at no additional cost.

Perfect Family Getaway

We loved our stay! The location was right between some of our favorite things- Jockey’s Ridge, Ashley’s Coffee Parlour, and Duck. We had fun walking on the beach, which is so convenient, playing pool, soaking in the hot tub, and just relaxing in your beautiful home. We can’t wait to visit again!

Great house - perfect location

Great beach access -Beds are amazing and kitchen is well equipped.The only issue is it is listed as 3 bathrooms…one of which is the outdoor shower. Not a bathroom.

Awesome cottage!

What a great cottage! First and foremost it was very clean. We had everything we needed for a really nice long weekend. We will definitely plan on going back.

Great stay!

The Good Stuff has everything you need! Our family enjoyed playing pool in the evenings. Also, the house was decorated wonderfully for Christmas. We would recommend staying here! Plan on being back soon.

Wonderful obx pet friendly house

We loved our stay here for the holiday week! Cindy was great with communication and the house was perfect. We lived the location and access to the beach and also the fact that it is a dog friendly house! We would love to stay here again in the future!

Daughter’s birthday celebration

The house was super cozy and comfortable and just a short walk to the beach. We enjoyed the hot tub and the pool table! The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed! It was a nice, relaxing weekend!

Comfortable house in perfect location

We stayed at The Good Stuff with our kids. The downstairs with the pool table and futons was a perfect hang-out for our older guys, plus the bedroom and bathroom made it so that they had their own private suite. It was easy to cook meals at this house since the kitchen is stocked with everything needed to cook and serve meals. The open floor plan upstairs made it easy and enjoyable to be together, the ac and ceiling fans, as well as the furniture made this home super comfortable. Kids also had fun on the Wii! Being able to cross right across the street to get to the beach was super convenient, as were the chairs and umbrella that Cindy provided. The hot tub was fabulous for taking in the sunsets from the back deck. Any store that may be needed is nearby, along with a Duck donuts, and Winks ice cream is just a short walk away. The view across the street is gorgeous. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Perfect beach house

The property was the perfect spot for our family trip this year! Everything was as listed. We had anything we could have needed. The beach being so close, right across the street was awesome! Would definitely stay here again!

Great Stay in Kitty Hawk!

The Good Stuff is a great place to stay. It's got the whole old-school beach cottage vibe, but as an updated version with comfortable beds, nice furnishings, and stocked with everything you could possibly think of. Beach access is just across the street and two houses down, which was really convenient. And we had the pleasure of meeting Cindy and her family the day we were leaving -- such nice people, we felt like we were staying at a friend's house. We've stayed at many different places from Kitty Hawk down to Avon, and this ranks up there as one of the best. A true hidden gem!

We had a wonderful time again. This was our third time staying at The Good Stuff and it was as enjoyable as always. The host is always very helpful and easy to communicate with. The house is great and very well stocked.

The Good Stuff

We loved this house and were very comfortable in it. We stayed for 10 days and it was so much fun being near the beach, using the hot tub, playing pool, and enjoying the view. It’s a wonderful house for families with all of the amenities you need. I highly recommend this house!!

Cozy and Beachy

Very nicely maintained and decorated. Having linens and towels was a big plus. Well stocked kitchen, even though we mostly ate out. Short walk to beach, we could see ocean, so views were nice too. Definitely would return for another long weekend in spring or fall.

Great Time

Stayed for part of the winter. The place was handy to everything and very well supplied. Everything worked right. It was just the right place for our geriatric dog who can’t do steps anymore.

Weekend getaway

We LOVED this property and will return one day… Easy walk to the beach, AWESOME communication with the owner, and was so nice to have a hot tub after the Christmas parade and shopping all day! This property was also easy for my elderly dog to get around with only 1 flight of stairs. The owner even decorated the cottage for Christmas which we loved and appreciated so much!

Perfect OBX stay

Looking for a perfect Outer Banks cottage experience, this is the one. Perfect location across from the beach that leads to sunrise walks and looking at beach night stars. The sunroom is great for a coffee in the morning looking out at the ocean. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need, even for a Thanksgiving dinner. The living space provides plenty of comfortable seating for the whole family. We enjoyed the hot tub on a cold starry night. And Cindy was so friendly checking in before we came. We hope to return and are grateful for this perfect stay.

We had 4 adults here for the week. This home is very lovely. Nicely decorated, extremely clean and felt like my own home. Reservation process simple, the owner was extremely easy to work with. Would absolutely rent The Good Stuff again.

Just what we needed

The house had plenty of space for all of us to spread out and had easy access to the beach across the street. We didn’t do any cooking but totally could have, as there were huge sets of dishes and cookware. The main bathroom upstairs was nicely updated and the rainfall type showerhead was really nice with plenty of pressure. We would happily stay here again!

This vacation home is a family project. We (Tim and Cindy Williams) live in Elizabeth City, North Carolina, just 45 minutes from the cottage in Kitty Hawk. We own and operating a printing and sign shop and spend our free time between our log cabin at Smith Mountain Lake, Virginia and our beach cottage in Kitty Hawk. Our daughter, Lisa, is also very involved in our vacation cottage rental. She gets all the credit for the decor' and other features that make our cottage a comfortable place to stay. During you stay, don't be surprised if you see one of us.

Our family has had a home on the Outer Banks for many years. We decided we wanted something closer to the beach and started looking the beginning of 2008. After looking for a few months we found 'The Good Stuff' in Kitty Hawk. The Good Stuff is a work in progress for us. Each year we add a little something to the cottage.

Our cottage is COMFORTABLE. With the airy beach theme through out the main living area, you can just sit back and relax, watch the ocean and enjoy. All the comforts of home are at your fingertips - cable TV, Wifi, Nintendo Wii, and Hot Tub. After a few days, you stop looking at the clock and the days just roll one into another. Before you know it, its time to go home.
