Tropical Pool Home - Tiki Hut & 60' Dock

Lush Tropical Home with unobstructed view of the Gulf of Mexico. Octagonal shaped half duplex home with wide open water views from every window. Comfortable interior with all the amenities you'd expect. Private pool, tiki area and 60' of dock are for your exclusive use and are not shared with the neighboring half.

A neighborhood boat ramp is nearby and it's easy boat access to to our deep water dock that can accommodate your boat or a rental boat in the water. (Room to park your trailer onsite.)

Outdoor brick paver grounds with lush tropic landscaping surrounded by palm trees - relax on our wrap-around deck or patio and take in the sunset, manatee and dolphin. Sit under the large tiki hut by the water's edge and take in the sunset. This home also included a large freshwater pool, tiki hut, 60' dock and all the described amenities are for your exclusive use (not shared with neighboring home). Outdoor dining table under the tiki for that perfect meal. The property includes lots of lounging furniture and hammock chair for you to relax in.

This home has a large open floor plan with vaulted ceilings and over 1425 square feet of living space. The master suite has a king-sized bed and ensuite bathroom. The guest bedroom a queen bed, and there are two rollaway beds for extra guests. Full modern kitchen with Corian counter-tops, stainless steel appliances and lots of storage

Furnished with modern furnishing, and includes bedding/linens, and a full assortment of cookware right down to the blender. High-speed wireless internet, flat screen TVs.

This rental also includes a 2-person ocean kayak, two stand-up paddle boards, beach cruiser bikes, fish cleaning table, fish/bait freezer and a gas grill.

Parking available for up to 2 vehicles and a boat trailer onsite.

We spent a week fishing and diving. The house was great and had all we needed. The outdoor space was fantastic. Boat docked right behind the house made life so easy. The only caution I would have is if your trailer is over 30 feet it can be a challenge to back it in. We would definitely stay again without hesitation!

A great place to stay

Fun place to stay... lots to do close to everything.. we had no issues the view is unbelievable, sat and had my coffee looking out at the gulf. Can't wait to go back.

Marathon Keys House with Pool

Loved the outdoor area, especially to pool and Tiki Hut. It was peaceful and loved the large bay. 2up Kayak was nice. House was good and suited our needs.

Great property, great location

The house, pool, deck, Tiki hut, dock was all great for us. Very convenient location, 10 minute boat ride to vaca cut and 20 minute boat ride to 7 mile bridge. I'd definitely be back!!

Beautiful Bay

We loved the scenic views, the pool and the beautiful sunsets. There were a couple things that showed wear and tear but that’s expected in a rental. And the owner and manager were both very responsive to all communications. We would love to come back again!

Have stayed here several times. Very private and relaxing. Enjoyed the private pool. Joe and Mary are easy to reach and thorough with the instructions. Debbie got back to us right away as we arrived an hour early. Can’t wait to visit again.

Marathon Christmas

Our family got to spend Christmas in Marathon this year and this property didn’t disappoint. Incredible views from the balcony where we enjoyed coffee every morning and happy hour every evening! Property manager and owner was easily accessible for any questions which we had very few. Having a heated pool was definitely a plus and we enjoyed that. We will definitely be back!

The Best of Marathon

This house had it all! The pool overlooks a lagoon teaming with life. Sea turtles, manatees, blue parrot fish and pelicans. The pool stays shaded most of the day and the dock was just right for our 17’ Whaler but had room for a much bigger boat. It’s convenient to the boat ramp, about a mile away. The open floor plan was perfect for relaxing and beating the heat. We had a great time and definitely will stay again!

Nice Place

Overall excellent property that was exactly as advertised. Some minor maintenance issues could be addressed and cleaning could have been more thorough. Not sure pool heater actually worked. Would recommend to friends.

Mom and dads week away!

We came down for a week for relaxation. The house is great, comes with everything you need. Has all the basics including enough towels. The house is a twin house and I did not know that. The owner occasionally stays but I was told that side does not get rented and is rarely occupied. The owner was there for our week and was very nice and respectful of our privacy. We spent a lot of time in the pool and the tiki hut. The house could use some updating but it’s exactly what you get from the pictures.

Great place

We really enjoyed our stay here. The guys liked fishing from the dock. The pool was heated nicely. The kitchen has many appliances and cookware. The beach was about 8 minutes away by car. There are several stores, restaurants close by. The owner responded quickly to issues we had. The queen bed needs replaced. It was not very comfortable and it is noisy! A toilet paper holder with a spring bar in the first bathroom would be nice as the TP kept falling off. We did use the bikes and the kayak All in all, we would stay here again.

Cleaning crew not doing their job.

Great vacation rental, owners need to check with cleaning crew. (We don't believe they are doing their job) the house was not ready for us to check in. We checked in hour and half after our check in time.

3rd visit! 💕 love it!

This is the 2nd time we have stayed in this home and the 3rd time we have stayed at one of this host’s properties. Very responsive host…good communication! Very clean! Nice warm pool! Cental location. Love the wildlife we see in the canal…turtles, manatees, tarpon, parrot fish, etc! We tried quite a few of the host’s recommended restaurants and were not disappointed by any of them! I Highly recommend the Grouper sandwich with mango chutney at Lazy Days South! YUMMY!!! It would help immensely if the light switches were labeled. There are so many and trying to figure out what switches worked which ceiling fanorlight was a bit confusing. Checkout time is 10 am, but the house cleaner showed up at 0830 and then waited in her car in the driveway until we left at 10am. A little awkward.😬

2 weeks in Paradise

We loved our stay here. House is roomy and well equipped. We cook all of our meals so the kitchen is a big item for us. We didn’t have to unpack any of the utensils we generally bring as the kitchen was so well equipped. Had more than what we needed. Brand new appliances, plenty of counter area. Washer and Dryer onsite was great. Bed was beyond comfortable. The outside was even better - sunset views are stunning from the deck, great having the Tiki hut. Ate there a number of times, all the gear needed to enjoy, bikes, kayak, fishing items. Spent 2 weeks watching the 2 manatees, sharks and dolphins, sea turtles right from the dock and could see them from the deck as well. Rented a boat and only 5 min to open Gulf. If location is everything then this place is perfection. Pool cleaned and maintained thru out our two weeks as well. Parking underneath was great too. We plan to be back for sure next year. We have stayed at Ocean Point, Florida Bay Club, Cozy Castaway over the past 4 years and this place was overwhelmingly the best.

I am a married father of two, avid hockey player and fishing enthusiast with a successful track record in waterfront real estate operations. I had always enjoyed my visit to the Keys over the years as I just found the area so unique. I thought it be cool to have a place in the keys that I could use when I visited. Crystal clear waters with sandy white bottoms, warm temps year round, incredible water views, the best fishing and diving available in the Continental U.S. I could not think of a better place to own a vacation home. While searching for that perfect Keys home, and having rented homes for my own vacations in the past, I made the decision to only buy a home that could also be a vacation rental. This meant that it had to have an open water view, good accessible dock, and that could be legally rented by the week. I purchase my first property in the City of Marathon in 2009. Today I run a small successful vacation home rental business with 5 homes with my wife Mary.

An unique hexagonal homes with 180 degree water views from the living area of this home. The home is located on a quiet saltwater cove connected to the Gulf of Mexico. Views of both the cove and the Gulf are unobstructed by other homes. Mature tropical landscaping surrounds this property. There's a nice tiki hut at the water edges next to a large private pool for your exclusive use.

Marathon's central location in the Middle Keys was the clear choice. Investment was starting to come into the area after the economic recession. Far enough away from the hustles of life but with the conveniences most people want when they vacation. Marathon was also one of the few areas of the Keys where you can rent homes by the week. The licensed program is well run with essential personnel, rental rules and inspections to ensure owners are responsible members of its tourism industry. Marathons businesses cater to both its residents and visitors. All the basic necessities to call it home for many with 2 grocery stores, a Home Depot, library, parks and marine oriented businesses plus a few dozen restaurants/bars, boat rentals, charters and dive shops for its vibrant tourism industry. Fly into Key West, Miami or Ft. Lauderdale International airport and your Keys vacation is only a one to two hour drive away. So much to do right within the city limits or your backyard without every getting in tehe car. Or visit historic Key West, less than an hour drive away.
