Enjoy beautiful ocean views and relaxed island living from this spacious 2-bedroom, 2-bath condo at the oceanfront Royal Sea Cliff Resort in Kailua-Kona. High ceilings, abundant natural light, and two private lanais create a bright, airy retreat.

The condo features a comfortable king bedroom and queen bedroom, two full bathrooms, and upgraded central air conditioning, along with ceiling fans in every room for added comfort.

The well-equipped kitchen has everything you need for meals at home, including cookware, coffee makers, a blender, toaster, and microwave. It is also thoughtfully stocked with spices, cooking oils, teas, and coffee, with welcome chocolates waiting for you upon arrival.

Step outside onto either of the two private lanais to enjoy the tropical surroundings and ocean views.

Guests have access to two oceanfront swimming pools, a Jacuzzi, barbecue area, and tennis/pickleball court. An ice machine is conveniently located on the 5th floor.

The condo also includes an in-unit washer and dryer, beach towels, and other essentials to make your stay easy and comfortable.

Royal Sea Cliff is conveniently located along Ali‘i Drive, close to downtown Kailua-Kona’s restaurants, shops, beaches, and activities, while offering a peaceful resort setting to return to at the end of the day.

Very comfy beds, including the couch. Provided yummy chocolate! Had all the boogie boards and things for beach time. The pools were perfect for away from beach time, very accessible parking, location was great for Kona things by car.

Nice condo. A bit dated with some furniture and decorations, but clean and comfortable. Great to have two bedrooms and bathrooms were large and useful.

Great place and location

Perfect set up for a family looking to have fun. It was nice that there was stuff for the beach at the room. The restaurants and shops are only a mile away. Enjoyed our stay.

Lovely spot

We really enjoyed our stay! Really nice spot. Everything went great and we wished we could stay longer. Flexible parking, great views, good part of town, and very clean interior were the highlights. Would love to stay again :)

Wonderful property at a great location

Apartment was clean and had all the amenities we could think of. Hardly had to contact the property manager for anything. Location was perfect. Would highly recommend the property !!!

Great Views

Owner and property manager were easily reachable and very nice. The property has beautiful views! All information is accurate and detailed which I appreciate.

Fully stocked condo in great location

We had everything we needed for our stay - kitchen had plenty of appliances, seasoning, pans, etc. They also provided beach towels and snorkel equipment. Great location that was close to restaurants, shopping, and attractions. Highly recommended.

Phenomenal Experience!

We very much enjoyed the Royal Sea Cliffs and all of the amenities offered by Darden. The condo was very well appointed with every amenity needed for a week on The Big Island (including small day trip coolers, beach umbrella and chairs, boogie boards). Thank you Darden for helping us have an amazing 20-year anniversary trip!

Lovely stay in Kona

We enjoyed our stay at this property. It was clean, spacious and well equipped, and conveniently located for many activities along the Kona coast. Beds were very comfortable. The pools and hot-tub were not crowded and a perfect temperature. The only downside was a loud beeping truck that woke us up every morning around 5:30 AM. Otherwise, it was a 5-star stay.

Beautiful Condo with everything you need !!

I have stayed at several units at RSC and this one tops my list! Love having two lanais, one for games with family, and one for me to relax and read. Umbrella is great on lanai off master. So many personal touches , makeup remover pads and Q-tips in bathroom, laundry detergent with bounce shoots, coolers, spices, baby essentials. Beautiful ocean view and communication was a 10. I will boom this unit again for my next vacation. Thank you for a perfect family vacation!!

80th birthday

Great location, easy access to everything: beach, grocery, dining, shopping. The reserve parking spot is near the elevator and not having to look for parking! Doesn't get much better...oh but wait it did. The condo is well kept, clean. All communications with the host were fast and accommodating. It's apparent pride is taken in the care of this condo. Only challenge for us was the very low sofa. Bad knees/backs ended up just using chairs. Yes, we would stay here again.

Check in process painful as always with VRBO. They won't change my email access regardless of how many times I have told them so access is always an issue. I don't know why I even bother with the reviews as I won't have access. Can't communicate with VRBO.

Good size, location and amenities… but several glaring issues

The location of this VRBO is excellent, it has plenty of space in the unit and there was beach chairs, snorkels, fins, etc to use which was all great… but the unit overall was really lacking. For starters, it was not clean. There was built up dust and grime on several surfaces. You can tell at some point in time someone smoked in this unit as it still has that ‘old smoke’ smell you get at a bowling alley. My wife is extremely sensitive to cigarette smoke, so being 6 months pregnant and sleeping in this environment was not exactly comfortable. The ceiling fan in the master only worked on low. The shower curtain in the master bedroom had black mold on it. The shower head itself was at a very awkward height, basically at chest level so made bathing difficult, bizarrely aggravating. The vent registers were caked in grime and dust. The unit itself is pretty dated. We stayed for 3 nights, and someone was parked in our spot pretty much on a daily basis which forced us to find another place to park. I wouldn’t stay here again, but the location is convenient if you’re going to be in the Kona area.

The property was very clean and well located for groceries & beaches. It was really quiet with good ceiling fans &A/C. Free, designated garage parking & lovely swimming pools. Easy check in & good communication from the host.

Fantastic home away from home

We had an excellent time at this home. Beautiful location and well maintained. Everything was in the apartment including a perfectly ripe pineapple, bananas and a box of chocolates! I would highly recommend this property.

Privately Owned Unit

This unit is a privately owned unit. It is not Wyndham managed. This isn't necessarily a negative, but it is a bit different experience. On the positive side there are all sorts of spices and cooking ingredients - which was great! On the negative side - the furnishings might not be quite the same style or quality as the Wyndham managed units. The view is amazing! I found the Master Bedroom to be a bit too warm for great sleeping, but in all fairness I am used to a very cool bedroom. Overall, for the price, this is a nice condo.
