This was our second stay. It’s a very comfortable house. Very clean and spacious. Outside there is a nice back patio, and all around the house there is an abundance of native plants, as though one is walking through a beautiful garden. It’s within walking distance of the beach and numerous restaurants. We hope to return soon for our third stay.

The stay at this cottage in ocean beach was perfect except for no AC so the temp inside was 84 every afternoon

Fantastic stay at the Cottage. Location was prime for every outing we planned and then some. The Cottage was clean, cute, and enough room for the four of us (Dad. Mom, and two adult kids. Highly recommend and would stay again.

This Ocean Beach Garden Cottage has adequate street parking even during popular summer months with restaurants, shops, and beach within easy walking distance. The check-in and check-out protocol is clearly communicated and the owners are readily available if the need arises. The owners’ second rental house located lower on the same lot is just as welcoming. As a frequent visitor to the coastal San Diego area this rental has been a frequent destination for my family. The property is attractively furnished with anything you may need for a comfortable stay - my favorite home away from home.

This property was very clean, and pleasantly decorated. The kitchen had everything you would expect, and more. I came without my German Shepherd, but he could have easily fit into the space, and there was a private patio in back. The beds were comfortable, and the bedding was good quality. it was located close to Ocean Beach attractions, but not too close to the crowds and traffic.

So clean and well-appointed. Great walkable location. The grounds were beautiful. Bonus was the beach stuff that made our beach day absolutely fabulous. Will 100% stay again!

Perfect Stay in Ocean Beach and Beyond

Loved everything about our stay. Location was perfect for our week exploring San Diego. This cottage exceeded our expectations. Will be our go to spot next time we’re back in town.

We will be recommending this cottage to anyone traveling to San Diego! Exactly as pictured…absolutely darling, perfectly appointed, great for a family of four. Gardens are simply beautiful. Quiet and safe neighborhood, easy street parking. Walking distance to amazing restaurants, coffee shops and markets - and to the beach. Beds were SO comfortable. We fell in love with Ocean Beach! Such a great vibe and tons of incredible restaurants and cute shops (much more chill and neighborhoody than Pacific Beach and Mission Beach in our opinion). Great communication with the host. Do not hesitate to book!! We will be back!

Lovely garden cottage

We enjoyed staying in this cozy, comfortable cottage. It had everything we needed, and the location is great. The owner was accessible and attentive. Definitely would return again.

A fun family spring break!!

We loved the location of Rodney’s house! We were able to so easily walk to the beach and go to great reataurants. Plus the other attractiions that interested us like the Zoo and Sea World were a quick drive away. The landscaping was all so beautiful!

Fabulous house!!

My daughter and her family stayed here over Christmas and loved it, so I knew I would be happy there. It was well equipped, quiet, and easy to find parking on the street. It was also spotlessly clean.

Lovely home!

Had a lovely time - This is the second time we have stayed at this house . Everything is so nice- clean, well equipped with necessities and great location - Disappointed that there was no fire pit since we enjoyed so much last time - Very nice stay!
